1. my name is
"If you could wish for anything in the world, what would it be?"
"To be rich."
"Flawless skin."
"I want to fly."
"My sight back."
"A cure for cancer."
"World peace."
Me? In the heat of the moment I'd probably ask for a pizza. That's what the infamous Madam Papillion did in her city after all. I walked around granting wishes. Not for free though. Everything came with a price. My price just so happened to be pizza.
[Please, no more Hawaiian.]
I sighed. "I'll eat whatever I please, thank you."
[Fruit does not belong on a pizza.]
"Quit whining. I've only had it, like, twice."
[You humans have weird tastes.]
"Another word outta you and I'll stop asking for pizza all together."

The demon silenced itself and slithered deeper within me. The first time he appeared I was arriving at a college out of state. It was shortly after I abandoned my so called friends. He melded with my very soul and has since remained there.
Any attempts at removing said demon have been detrimental to say the least.
I peeked at my gloved left hand.
[Thinking of ways to try and get rid of me aren't you?]
"Shh!" I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm trying to concentrate."
[Fine. I'll meditate too.]
Everytime I meditated I found myself on top of the tallest building in Dorden. Away from the noise. Away from the wishes. Away from the world.
The crisp breeze cooled my neck, filled my lungs. The clouds broke letting the sun warm my skin for the briefest of moments before the gray masses hid it away again. I've never felt more at peace than when I was at the top of this building.
"Let me down you crazy bitch!"
I begrudgingly peeled my eyes open with an irritated sigh. Meditation time was over. I grabbed my plaid coat and stood to my feet, walking over to the edge of the building. I draped my coat on the side and casually leaned over.
"Me? Crazy?" I called down,"I should get off this unicorn and slap you."
"Fuck you!"
"Fuck yourself-you'll get more pussy."
"Let me go!" He cried.
"I don't have time for this shit," I muttered.
Chenor lent me his strength as I hauled the guy up by the rope and dangled him over the side."You give me a name and I let you go," I called over."If I have to ask again, I'm leaving your crispy ass up here until you're dust in the wind because in a couple of minutes those clouds are gonna break and the sun-"
The breeze suddenly carried a hushed whisper to my ear, breaking my concentration. The guy let out a ladylike yelp as he slipped from my fingers.
She's coming coming
My breath caught in my throat as I whipped my head around only to find no one there. I rubbed the pads of my fingers together.
The guy let out another yelp. With a huff, I turned around, grabbed the rope and tugged until I slung him over. He hit the concrete with a thud. He wasn't going anywhere with his hands and feet tied.
I marched up to him. He groaned trying to to sit up. I could help with that. Crouching down, I grabbed a fist full of hair and yanked.
"Still waiting on that name."
"Fuck. . .you," he rasped.
A smile tugged at my lips."We'll see who's about to get fucked." I pulled him up by his hair and turned him around until he was looking at the sky.
"A name or you're about to become a number five extra crispy. "
Not a word.
The clouds broke just enough to let a sliver of sunlight hit his face. Steam began to rise from his skin. He grit his teeth to keep from crying out.
I yanked his head some more."A name."
More sunlight came through in beams bathing the roof in light. He couldn't hold in his scream as his skin began to blister and boil.
She's coming coming
I glanced up for that split second then down at the guy. In a few seconds he was going to catch fire. He was loyal as hell I'll give him that. My patience had run out. I untied his feet and threw him behind a vent. He hankered down to hide from the sunlight.
"Fuck outta here before I change my mind."
As soon as the clouds covered the sun again he sped off with his arms still tied.
I went to grab my coat. I shrugged it on and looked at the gray clouds.
[So what are we doing today Madam?]
"The same thing we do everyday, Chenor," I answered,"Grant wishes."
