Alex takes Gia to meet his parents while on a tour in Africa for the circus...

''I can't believe we are going to back to Africa!'' Marty shouted excitedly.

Him, and his friends with Gia, Vitaly, and Stephano were in one of the boxcars.

''I know! You must be excited Alex get to see old mom and dad.'' Gloria smiles at the lion.

''Yeah, I mean it will be nice to see them again.'' Alex smiled as he was playing a card game with Stephano.

''I thought you lived in New York?'' Asked Gia looking at her boyfriend.

''We did, long story short I was kidnapped by hunters as a cub and somehow ended up in New York, then before we ran into you guys, we came from Africa.'' Alex replied looking up.

''Ahh so the big lion does have a lion family.'' Vitaly retorted as he was watching tv.

''Yeah, I do a mom and dad.'' He replied.

''Are you kidding! Alex is practically a hero!'' Melman piped up.

The others looked. ''My Alex a hero?'' Asked Gia going over and wrapping her arms around Alex's broad shoulders.

''Yeah, him and his dad, returned the water back to the watering hole for all the animals on the reserve.'' Marty explained.

''Woah, but if anyone can do it it's Alex.'' Gia gushes and kisses his cheek.

''I bet your-a parents will- be-a happy to meet Gia!'' Stepho said happily.

''They should be. But I'm not sure if we'll see them.'' Alex replied.

The others looked at him.

''Why Alex?'' Asked Gia looking curious.

''Well, see when I found my parents I had this idea that I wanted to stay there in Africa but then again, I got homesick for my home in New York... and I told them when the plane came back, I was leaving, and my dad wasn't too happy about it.'' Alex replied.

''Well now when we get there you can tell him you changed your mind. You are with us and you can visit them and they can visit you.'' Gia replies with a smile as she kisses his cheek.

Later that night everyone went to their boxcars to their room and once in their shared boxcar Gia hugs Alex as they lay on the bed.

''Mmm I really want to meet your parents.'' Gia replied.

''I want you to meet them too and you will.'' He smiles as he holds her and they fall asleep.

The next day it was mid afternoon when they reached Africa.

''Alright we are going to set up the tents and stuff while you animals have half of the day to do whatever.'' Skipper replied.

Alex nodded and held Gia's paw.

''Well we should go see my parents.'' Alex replied.

''Yes please!'' Gia giggles.

''You guys coming?'' Asked Alex looking at the others.

''Nah we are staying here. Invite them to the show tonight.'' Vitaly replied.

After an hour of walking Alex and Gia made it to the reserve where the animals were and they went in.

''It's so big here.'' Gia replied impressed looking around.

''Yes, it is. Animals of all kinds.'' He replied.

They walked until they came to where the lions usually were and a lot of them looked up when they saw Alex.

''Hey Alex!'' Shouted a lioness named Talia.

''Hey Talia.'' He hugs her.

''What are you doing back here?'' She asked.

''I came to see my parents and to introduce them to my girlfriend. Oh, Talia this is my girlfriend Gia, Gia this is my childhood friend back in the day before I got kidnapped Talia.'' Alex introduced them.

''Hello Talia, it's so nice to meet you.'' Gia smiles as they shook paws.

''Nice to meet you too. Hold on to this lion.'' She smiles.

''So, where are my parents?'' Asked Alex.

''They are over in their small home.'' Talia replied.

Alex and Gia walked to the area, and they saw two lions.

''Come on Woman, I did the best I could.'' He replied.

''Mom dad.'' Alex called.

They turned and saw him.

''ALAKAY MY BABY!'' Florrie shouted as she ran over and hugs her son.

''Hey mom!'' He hugs he tightly lifting her up.

''Alakay my son returns.'' Zuba laughed as he went over and hugs his son.

''Alakay what are you doing back here?'' Asked Florrie.

''Well first there is someone I want you guys to meet. Mom dad this is Gia my girlfriend.'' Alex replied stepping to the side showing Gia.

Both lions looked at her.

''AAAHH she is so pretty!'' Florrie gushes and hugs Gia.

Gia smiles and hugs her back.

''Well son I got to say she a hot looking jaguar.'' Zuba smiles.

''Yes, she is. She into a trapeze artist.'' Alex replied.

''It's nice to meet you too Ms?'' Asked Gia.

''Oh, Florrie or mom please. Ahh you are so beautiful, and I love that accent.'' Florrie gushed as she wraps her arm around Gia.

''Alright Florrie.'' Gia giggles.

She then turned her attention to Zuba. ''Ahh so you're the famous Zuba! I can see where Alex gets his looks from.'' Gia smiles.

''Thank you, Gia, I got to say that accent is adorable so where are you from?'' He asked as they sat on a rock.

''I came from Italy when I was younger and now, I travel with the circus and Alex here is the owner of the circus.'' Gia smiles.

The two lions look at Alex.

''Well I can't believe you ended up with a jaguar.'' Florrie smiled.

''Is that a bad thing?'' Asked Gia.

''No, not at all. Are you happy? Is my baby boy happy?'' Asked Florrie.

''Yes I am and I believe he is.'' She looks at Alex who smiles and nods.

''Then you are the best thing to happen to him.'' Florie smiles.

''Well me and Gia have to get back we have a performance tonight and if you want to come you can.'' Alex invited them.

''I think we will.'' Zuba replied as he hugs both of the cats.
