Remodeling Part 1: Painting the Train
Remember the room problem moment that I did? Well I think it would make sense that Alex and his friends would make the circus's living requirements better so here is part 1 of it which is painting the train
The circus animals were gathered around. Alex, Vitaly and the penguins stood in front of them with a whole bunch of paint buckets, paint brushes and all kinds of art supplies.
Everyone was merely chatting with eachother and Alex was trying to get their attention but no one was listening. "Vitaly. Could you.." he asked the tiger who smirked "way ahead of you" he told him.
"ROAR!" Everyone got startled from the tiger's sudden and loud roar as they turned to them. "Thank you Vitaly" Alex told him grateful while shaking his ear to ease it from the power of that roar. Vitaly nodded to him as he stared back at the animals. Since Vitaly was the former leader and has some experience with the circus, Alex decided to make him his second in command.
"Alright. So you guys remember that we all order some new furniture and stuff to put in the carts. It's gonna come in a couple of days. But first we need to repaint our train carts before the furniture arrives. The penguins and the chimps were able to buy us some paint supplies. Grab whatever you need and get painting alright. Let's try to get these done before lunch time alright" he explained to them.
Everyone was actually excited to do this. They can agree that the train needed a serious remodel. It's paint was faded and chipping.
The first thing that everyone did was emptying their carts so that it would empty. Once every cart on the train was emptied out, it was time for painting. Everyone got to it, picking what colors they want, the designs and more.
Alex was walking around, observing everyone and their process. He had to admit, some of them were pretty good. "Hey Alex! What do you think of my cart! Crack a lackin ain't it!" Marty called out to his best friend. The zebra had painted his cart ocean blue with one cannon of each side shooting green fireballs from opposite sides.
Alex chuckled at his best friend's design "I like it! It suits you!" He complimented him. "Hey did you get started on your cart yet?" the zebra asked him, seeing that the lion hasn't touch one single paintbrush.
"I'll get started on mine soon. I just wanna make sure we have some progress going" Alex explained before he continued checking the carts.
His eyes spotted Gia painting her cart only not with a paintbrush but with her paws. The lion tilted his head curiously. The jaguar would dip a paintbrush into buckets of bright purple, pink and aqua green and she would paint it on her paw pad and then hand paint with it.
"Hmm. Hey Gia" he called out to her as he walked up to her. She turned to his direction and smiled at him. "Hi Alex" she told him as he took a glance at his cart. It was decorated with jaguar spots and hearts.
"I notice you were painting with your paw. Care to explain?" He asked her curious as he held her paw, seeing the paw painted with green paint on it.
"Well you know that the pad on my paw is shape like a heart. And it gave me idea to use my own paw as the paintbrush" she explained to him, motioning to her cart. Alex had to admit, Gia's heart shaped paw pads was one of the most unique things about her.
"That's pretty creative of you. I like it. High five" he supported her as he raised his paw and the two did a high five.
Alex's face fell when he felt something wet on his paw and his ears went down. The two separated their paws and Alex looked at his and found a green heart painting right on the palm of his paw.
Gia giggled at him, finding it funny how they forgot her paw still had paint. Meanwhile, Marty overhead them and took a glance. He was wondering what was happening but when he noticed the painted heart on Alex's paw, he understood and had an idea.
The zebra tip toed over to the two cats with a paintbrush dipped in blue paint. Gia noticed him but Mart quietly hushed her to be quiet and she nodded, understanding.
Once he was close enough...SPLAT!
Marty had swatted the paintbrush across Alex's back, leaving a blue line smeared on his fur. The lion yelped surprised, his fur stood up from the coldness of the paint.
"What the...MARTY! I'M COMING FOR YOU!" Alex turned around and spotted the zebra, ready to chase him. Gia dipped her paw in a paint bucket and smeared paint on his back. "Ah! Gia! Hey! No! Stop!" Alex said irritated as the jaguar and zebra kept smearing paint on him nonstop.
The other animals heard the commotion and were watching them. "Ok! STOP!" Alex demanded them and the two finally stopped. He glared at them both annoyed but to his confusion, they were struggling to hold their laughter.
Alex was covered in streaks of blue paint and paw prints with hearts of purple, pink and green all over him. Everyone bursted out laughing at how silly he looked.
Alex stared at them weirdly until he spotted his reflection in one of the paint buckets. He groaned annoyed but after taking a longer look, he smiled and also joined in on the laugh.
Ring ring ring! The animals heard something ringing. That was the chimps ringing the bell for lunch time.
"Alright! Time for some lunch!" Marty said as he tooked off for the food. Alex chuckled at him but then a thought came and he realized something that made him groan annoy. Gia noticed and looked at him oddly "What's wrong?" She asked him concerned and he turned to her.
"I forgot to paint my cart" he told her remembering that he has even laid a drop of paint on his cart. Gia stared at him surprised but she smiled at him "You can paint it after lunch. You'll need your strength. Come on" she told him as she walked off and Alex smiled at her as he followed her, needing both lunch and a bath.
