This here is my first one shot of where it features the yaoi version of Mac X Ruby, in this one shot, they will be playing as characters from the classic fairytale: Cinderella, here, Ruben plays the role of Cinderella, Mac plays the role of the Prince, Sasha plays the role of the younger version of the wicked stepmother, and Erin and Tabii play as the wicked step sisters.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a tiny little kingdom known as Sleep Peak, deep within a large house near the village, lived a widowed woman known as Rosemary, who lived with her son, Ruben. Rosemary gave every aspect of kindness to Ruben, but still felt as though he deserved the care of some siblings and a father.

So eventually, Rosemary married another man known as Cameron Campbell, a respectable shoe shiner who had three daughters, the eldest, Sasha, the second oldest, Erin and the youngest Tabii, it wasn't long until they started to become a family.

But by the time Ruben turned fourteen, Rosemary had sadly passed away due to an illness, and Cameron died shortly after he went on a trip to bring his daughters and stepson some presents, though when they died, the eldest stepsister, Sasha, never shed a single tear, as she was revealed to be a cruel and selfish woman, who only cared about herself.

Soon after, Sasha took the inherited money of the house, and chose to only spend it on herself and her sisters, while Ruben got nothing, he was then forced to work as a custodian of the house, frequently ordered to clean the house and do all the chores, while Sasha, Tabii and Erin did nothing, Tabii and Erin however, weren't as mean to Ruben as Sasha was and still sort of treated him as their brother.

As the years went by, Ruben began to grow into a kind hearted young man, with red hair and messy clothing, Ruben was currently outside of the house feeding some of the birds that were near the house, with him were two twin mice known as Dipper and Mabel, who happen to be good friends of Ruben.

"Hey Ruben, let's go outside and play hide and seek!" Mabel said as she smiled.

"Sure, you guys hide, I'll start counting." Ruben said as he smiled as he was ready to start counting. "One-"

But he was interrupted by the sound of loud shouting. "Ruben!!!" A loud female voice said as they called for Ruben.

"Oh, it's Sasha." Ruben said as he frowned and looked at Dipper and Mabel. "I'm sorry, but I better go see what she wants."

So Ruben the went inside the house, with Dipper and Mabel feeling a little upset that Ruben didn't get to play with them. "Aw, everyday it's the same." Mabel said as she was unhappy. "His stepsisters calling him to do the cleaning, cooking, dusting, laundry, and he never has time to play with us..."

"I know, I don't like it either, but it can't really be helped." Dipper said as he frowned.

"I wish we were really big, then I could give those stepsisters a big punch in the nose." Mabel said as she did an air punch but then tripped on the ground, causing Dipper to chuckle a bit.

In the house, Ruben was arriving to the kitchen to see a young woman that looked to be two or three years older than Ruben, she had tangerine hair with part of it tied into a bun, pink eyes and wore a lovely pink dress, she was known as Sasha, the eldest stepsister of Ruben and the meanest.

"I'm here, Sasha, how may I help?" Ruben asked politely.

"What do you mean 'how may I help?', these dishes are filthy!" Sasha said as she mentioned some dishes on the table that were dirty, she had a mean and cold glare at Ruben. "Clean them up at once!"

"Y-Yes, Sasha." Ruben said as he then took the dishes with him and cleaned them.

After that was done, another stepsister asked Ruben to come see them, in a blue bedroom was a tall young woman with blue hair, had one of
her eyes covered by her bangs, her uncovered eye was blue and she wore an elegant blue dress, she was known as Erin, she is one of Sasha's little sisters and looked to be a year younger than Sasha.

Erin wasn't much of a snob as Sasha and was more of the monotone and quiet one in the family. "Hey Ruben, you think you can help me sort some of these books?" Erin asked Ruben.

"Oh, why of course, Erin." Ruben said with a smile as he helped Erin sort some of her books.

Soon after, another stepsister asked for Ruben to see them, in a yellow bedroom was a short young woman who looked to be a year older than Ruben, she had blonde hair tied into a bun, golden yellow eyes with one of them covered with an eye patch and wore a pretty yellow dress, she was known as Tabii, she's the youngest biological sister of Sasha and Erin and is Ruben's third oldest step sister.

Like Erin, she isn't much of a snob as Sasha, Tabii lost her eye during an accident with a bird, causing her to be the black sheep of her two older sisters, with Sasha occasionally picking on her for having one eye, but despite that, Sasha still preferred to have Ruben do all the chores and give some of the inheritance money to her.

"Hey Ruben, can you help polish some of my shoes?" Tabii asked Ruben as she held a pair of yellow heels.

"Sure." Ruben said as he then helped Tabii polish her shoes.

After he was done, he was now outside hanging up some laundry what was just washed, suddenly, he heard the sound of a horse carriage coming as he then noticed a nice carriage, a man came out of the horse carriage and went over to Ruben.

"An invitation for you and your sisters." The man said as he gave four invitations to Ruben. "Elegantly made by the king and queen, good day."

So after the man got back on the carriage and drove off, Dipper and Mabel went over to see what was inside the invitations. "Whoa, something from the king and queen?" Mabel asked as she was impressed.

"What does it say?" Dipper asked.

Ruben opened one of the letters to see what was inside the envelope, when he read through it, he was surprised to see that it was an invitation to a royal ball, that's being held at the castle.

You are cordially invited to a special ball being held at the castle tonight, for our son, Prince Mac, to choose someone lovely enough to marry him, couples are welcome to come too, please be sure to dress your best and we'll see you at the ball.

"Wow, it's an invitation to a party, that's being held at the castle." Ruben said with eyes sparkling. "I've never been to the castle before or have seen what it is like, but I best must so dreamy and elegant."

"Ruben? What's going on out there? Didn't you hear me say that your chores are to be finished?" A voice asked as Ruben turned to see Sasha in an unhappy manner, but then notices the four letters. "Uh, what are in your hands?"

"Oh, a man stopped by to drop these off." Ruben said as he smiled. "It's an invitation from the king and queen."

"The king and queen!?" Sasha said in shock as she then took one of the letter. "Give me that!"

Soon after Sasha looked through the invitation and what it said, she was beyond shocked and ecstatic, possibly the first time she ever felt in so long, she even started squealing in happiness.

"No way!? An invitation at the castle for the prince to choose he will marry!?" Sasha said in complete happiness. "Oh this is a miracle! This is just what I need to boost my status!! I'll be more rich than I am!!!"

"Sasha? What's going on?" Erin asked as she and Tabii heard Sasha squealing.

"Why were you squealing?" Tabii asked. "Did you stub your toe?"

"No, I was just so excited." Sasha said with happiness and took the rest of the letters. "Each of us got an invitation to a party being held at the castle."

Erin and Tabii both gasped with excitement. "The castle!?" They both said with excitement.

"Yes, it's being held by the king and queen for the Prince to find someone he will marry." Sasha said as she was excited.

"Wait, you mean we both get to brides for the Prince!?" Tabii asked in happiness.

"No way." Erin said as she was surprised.

"We best get ready now, I want to make sure that I—" Sasha said with pride but then stopped when she saw her sisters glare at her. "I mean we, want to make sure we are presentable for the Prince."

"Oh boy I can't wait!" Tabii said as she was excited.

As the three stepsisters were getting excited, Ruben then felt interested in going with them, because he feels like the ball might be really fun to go to.

"Um, Sasha?" Ruben asked as Sasha turned to Ruben. "This ball sounds like a lot of fun to go to, can I come with you?"

Sasha then stopped smiling as she didn't feel that interested in taking Ruben with her to the ball. "Well, this is your invitation." Sasha said as she held the one invitation that was meant for Ruben.

"Really? Thank you so much, Sasha." Ruben said as he smiled.

Sasha then gave a wicked smirk as she took this opportunity to pick on Ruben. "But since you don't have anything nice to wear for the ball, you won't be needing this." Sasha said as she threw away the invitation, a pig noticed it and began eating it.

"My invitation!!" Ruben said as he was going to get the invitation out of the pig's mouth, but slipped and fell into some mud, causing him to become covered in mud.

Sasha and some of the villagers who were passing by laughed at the now mud covered Ruben. "Aw look, he's covered in mud." One of the villagers said as they laughed.

"Face it, Ruben, no one would ever want to see a custodian going to the ball, wearing nothing but dusty clothing." Sasha said as she laughed. "You're better off staying here and looking more pathetic than you are now."

As Sasha continued to laugh at her, Erin and Tabii just stayed silent, they felt that it was wrong that she picks on Ruben from time to time, but they felt that if they were to stand up for Ruben, it could result in them getting beaten up and yelled at by Sasha.

So during the rest of the day, Ruben was ordered to to get Sasha, Erin and Tabii ready for the ball, right up to when it was night time, Sasha, Erin and Tabii were dressed into more elegant versions of their dresses.

"Oh my gosh, you look so pretty, Tabii." Erin said as she smiled. "Golden yellow definitely suits you."

"Why thank you." Tabii said as she smiled.

A horse drawn carriage arrived as they were ready to take the stepsisters to the ball, Ruben was watching by the doorstep as he watched his sisters go into the carriage.

"Be sure to look after the house while we're gone." Sasha said to Ruben with a friend. "And clean it up while you're at it, and maybe also clean yourself."

So after the carriage left and took the stepsisters to the ball, Ruben was left feeling a bit of sorrow, he would've loved to have come with his stepsisters and see what the party would be like, but knew that since all his clothes were dirty and dusty, he would not be able to go.

He was currently outside folding the laundry that was dry, while also shedding a few tears of sorrow, Mabel and Dipper noticed this and went over to Ruben.

"Aw, don't feel sad, Ruben." Mabel said as she comforted Ruben.

Ruben then turned to the two mice and smiled as he wiped a tear off. "Oh, silly me, crying about something as not being able to go to a ball." Ruben said as he smiled. "I actually wanted to go with my stepsisters to the ball and see what it was like, I bet it must be so wonderful."

"And you can still go." Dipper said to Ruben. "Ignore what Sasha said about you."

"Yeah, you deserve a chance at going to the ball." Mabel said as she smiled.

Ruben smiled at the mice' comfort, but still sighed as he frowned. "But I could never go out with these clothes." Ruben said as he sighed. "All the guests at the ball will just look at me with disgust, and all my other clothes are dirty."

Suddenly, a loud crash sound shook the ground, they saw the bush rattling a bit, causing the mice to become scared and hide behind Ruben's shoulder.

"What was that?" Mabel asked in fear.

"Was it a ghost? A cat? A bird?!" Dipper asked in fear.

Then coming out of the bushes and spitting some leaves out of their mouth was a girl that had brown hair tied into a ponytail, hazel brown eyes, wore pink glasses, a pink and white dress and had beautiful pink and white fairy wings.

"I really need to work on my landing." The girl said as she came out of the bush while feeling a little dirty.

"Oh my goodness, are you okay?" Ruben asked as she helped the girl up.

"Oh don't worry, I'm okay." The girl said as she turned to Ruben. "Ah, Ruben, such a pleasure to meet you."

Ruben was then surprised by how the fairy knew her name. "Wait, how do you know my name?" Ruben asked with shock.

"Oh, where are my manners?" The girl said as she then introduced herself. "I'm Callie, your fairy godmother, and I came to help you get ready for the ball."

"Really? You would help me go to the ball?" Ruben asked with surprise.

"Why of course, you do want to go, do you?" Callie asked.

Ruben felt a bit nervous on wanting to accept the fairy's offer, but thought that since he felt interested in going to the party, he thought maybe it wouldn't hurt to at least give it a try.

"Yes." Ruben said as he nodded his head.

"Wonderful, first, bring me a large pumpkin and meet me outside." Callie explained to Ruben. "I'll explain the rest later."

So Ruben did as what Callie said and got a large pumpkin for her to use and met with her outside. "Okay, one large pumpkin." Ruben said as he set the pumpkin down on the ground gently.

"Alright." Callie said as she smiled, she then noticed Dipper and Mabel. "Excuse me, could I have you two over here for second?"

So Dipper and Mabel did as to what Callie told them and came over. "So now what?" Ruben asked.

"Just watch." Callie said as she then got out her magic wand. "Now just stand still...and a one...two...three!"

As Callie waved her wand, a magic dust sprinkled the pumpkin and the mice, the pumpkin then grew larger and eventually turned into a beautiful horse drawn carriage, for Dipper and Mabel, they grew bigger and then turned into beautiful horses.

Mabel gasped with excitement. "We're horses!" Mabel said with joy.

"This is weird on so many levels." Dipper said as he felt nervous.

"Now I can finally give those stepsisters a good old kick in the face." Mabel said with joy.

"Wow, this is so beautiful." Ruben said as he was amazed.

"Thanks, but we're not done yet." Callie said as she smiled and then waved her wand again. "And one...two...three!"

So Callie waved her magic wand again as a magical dust sprinkled Ruben, and that was done, Ruben no longer wore an outfit that was covered in dirt and mud, but that of an elegant white shirt with a greenish blue vest with gold embroidery, dark pants and brown boots.

Ruben was overall amazed by how he looked now and how elegant he looked. "Whoa..I look so...different..." Ruben said in amazement.

"Wow, you look like royalty." Dipper said in amazement.

"And with that, you're all set for the ball." Callie said to Ruben as she smiled.

"Oh, this is wonderful." Ruben said as he then gave Callie a hug. "Thank you so much, Callie."

Ruben then let go of the hug and got onto the carriage. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go to castle!" Mabel said with cheer as she and Dipper then started trotting their way to the castle, while pulling the carriage that Ruben was inside of.

As Callie watched them leave, she suddenly panicked as she forgot to tell Ruben something. "Ah! I completely forgot!" Callie said as she then ran after the carriage. "Ruben!"

Ruben then saw Callie running to him. "Yes?" Ruben asked.

"You must remember this, Ruben!" Callie said as she continued running. "By the time the clock strikes twelve, the spell will be reversed and you will be turned to normal, so be sure to be back home by midnight!"

"Okay! I'll remember!" Ruben said to Callie. "And thank you!"

Callie then stopped running as she then watched the carriage make it's way to the castle. "Have a nice time at the party!" Callie said as she waved goodbye to Ruben.

Meanwhile, at the castle, in the ballroom, Sasha, Erin and Tabii were looking around the ballroom, the ballroom was pretty big and there were dozens of women waiting for the Prince to arrive.

"Wow, everyone looks so pretty." Tabii said as was shocked.

"I didn't think there'd be this much people." Erin said.

"Sure, they are pretty, but they can never compare to my flawless looks." Sasha said with pride.

A trumpet sound was heard as a soldier held a trumpet. "Presenting his royal highness, Prince Mac!" The soldier said.

Then, coming into the ballroom was a dashing young gentleman with white clothing attire, brown hair, fair skin and a crown on his head, he was known as Prince Mac, the eldest son of the King and Queen, his brother was going to be heir to the throne, but due to his brother being uncaring and mean spirited, Mac was now set to be next in line to the throne, but he would have to first choose someone to marry.

Sasha, Erin and Tabii were amazed by Mac's handsome features, mostly Sasha as she looked at Mac with lovestruck eyes, she then noticed some of the other girls coming towards Mac to try and ask if they could dance with him, making her annoyed.

"Hey! I saw him first!" Sasha said in anger as she made her way to the Prince. "Move out the way!"

While that was happening, Ruben eventually arrived to the ballroom, when he looked around, he noticed how graceful everyone looked and couldn't help but feel himself becoming nervous.

"Wow, everyone looks so elegant and graceful." Ruben said he felt nervous. "Maybe coming here was a mistake."

Suddenly, not looking where he was going, he suddenly bumped into an elderly maid of the castle that was short and had gray hair tied into a ponytail.

"Oh I deeply sorry." Ruben said as he apologized to the maid.

The maid then noticed Ruben looking nervous. "Feeling nervous?" The elderly maid asked, to which Ruben replied with a nod. "No worries, everyone in the castle is very friendly, well, everyone except Terrence, but you know what I mean."

Meanwhile, at a table were two girls, one was a middle aged woman with red hair and a maid outfit, known as Frankie, and the other was a young woman with black hair and dark skin, that wore a nice yellow dress, known as Goo.

They then noticed Mac heading to the table while feeling breathless. "Finally, safe!" Mac said as he felt relieved.

"Wow, Mac, the girls are really going after you tonight." Goo said as she looked at Mac. "Well, can't say I'm surprised, considering you're a prince and all."

"I don't even know why my parents thought that it was a good idea to host a ball, just for me to choose who to marry." Mac said as he was unhappy and got a glass of wine. "It's unreasonable."

"Most definitely." Goo said as she agreed.

"Hold on, who's that man talking to my grandma?" Frankie asked in curiosity.

Goo and Mac turned to see Frankie's grandma, while Mac was drinking a glass of wine, the elderly maid, having a polite conversation with Ruben, while the elderly maid did a few twirls.

"And that is how you twirl with the one you dance with." The elderly maid said with a smile, making Ruben giggle a little.

Mac spat out his wine after he saw Ruben and couldn't believe what he saw in front of him, Mac wasn't the person to judge someone for their looks, but he felt himself having butterflies in his stomach and his heart beating faster when he saw Ruben.

"Wow, what a dashing gentleman." Goo said as she was impressed.

"I uh...think I'm gonna drink something else." Mac said as his face was now red. "I think this wine is making me hallucinate."

So Mac went over to get something else to drink, other than wine, with Ruben, he was looking around the castle a bit more while being greeted by the other nobles that came to the ball.

But not watching where he was going, he accidentally bumped into Mac, who had a glass of apple juice in his hand and got it spilled over his uniform, and was also having a forced conversation with Sasha and some of the other girls at the ball.

"Oh my goodness! I am so sorry, sir!" Ruben said as he apologized to the Prince.

"How dare you!? Bumping into the Prince and making him get his shiny clean suit dirty!" Sasha said as she was offended by this. "Have you no respect!?"

"How would you like it if someone did that to you?" One of the guests asked as she was offended.

"I-I'm really sorry, I have to go now." Ruben apologized as he then ran as fast as he could away from the crowd and went outside the castle, Mac watched Ruben leave and couldn't help but feel bad for him.

"Hmph, some people just have no manners, isn't that right, Prince?" Sasha said with pride, but suddenly saw that Mac was gone. "Prince Mac?"

Outside of the castle, in the garden, Ruben sighed as he was at a gazebo, staring at his reflection in the water, he admits that he was happy that he got a chance to go the ball, thanks with the help of his fairy godmother, but something inside him made him feel unhappy, he still felt sad that he was still mistreated by his eldest stepsister and some of the guests at the party, just like how it always happened at home.

"Maybe Sasha was right, there was no way a custodian like me could fit in at a party such as this one." Ruben said to himself with tears in his eyes. "Maybe I was better off with just staying home..."

As Ruben saw himself in the reflection, he saw himself as the same custodian who always wore dusty and dirt covered clothes, and not as the fine gentleman that his friends thought of him, he then started to sing to himself as he felt sorrow in himself.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of a twig snapping, which startled Ruben and caused him to stop singing, Ruben turned behind him to see someone hiding behind a tree.

"Who's there?" Ruben asked.

Then, slowly coming out from behind the tree, was that of a nervous Prince Mac, with a white rose in hand, this for sure, shocked Ruben, he didn't think he would meet the prince this close.

"Your highness?" Ruben asked as he was about to then kneel down to Mac, but he stopped him.

"No worries, there's no need to bow." Mac reassured Ruben. "And you can just call me, Mac."

"Though, what are you doing here?" Ruben asked. "Shouldn't you be inside the castle enjoying the party?"

"Meh, I wasn't really enjoying it that much." Mac said as he frowned. "All the guests kept getting me overwhelmed, all because I was set to rule the throne because I wasn't as self centered as my older brother, I never pictured myself as a ruler, and it was bad enough that my parents wanted choose someone to marry, even when I haven't considered being in a relationship."

Ruben honestly felt bad for Mac, part of his life reminded him of life back at home with his stepsisters. "Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that." Ruben said. "I wouldn't really be with you just because you were a prince to be honest, I would be with you, because you're sincere and selfless, all very special and unique to me."

Mac felt touched by those comments as he then continued. "Anyways, I noticed how hurt you felt after some of the guests pushed you away and thought maybe I could talk to you, it was hard to get past the guests and I wasn't sure of where you've gone off to, but after I heard you singing, that's where I found you." Mac explained.

Ruben then hung his head low as he felt ashamed that his singing attracted Mac to coming over to seeing him. "I'm so sorry I caused you so much trouble, I wanted to go to the ball to have fun, but all I did was cause trouble." Ruben said as he frowned. "I am deeply sorry."

Mac couldn't help but feel bad for Ruben, from how he listened to Ruben's song and him feeling bad himself, he knew he had to do something to help him, so that he wouldn't be sad for the rest of his life.

"Ruben, you shouldn't feel sorry for anything, you've done nothing wrong." Mac explained to Ruben as he then gave him the white rose. "I might not know much about you, but to me, you are not what you think of yourself, you are special in your own way, and even if you don't wear the finest clothes or have the most amount of money, you are still considered as wonderful to me."

When Ruben saw the rose in his hand and heard all of Mac's kind words, it was enough for Ruben to blush and have his eyes filled with tears, he has never had anyone, other than his friends, say those kind words to him.

"Th-Thank you..." Ruben said as he smiled. "Thank you so much...."

Mac then blushed red. "In my honest opinion, that was a very meaningful song you sang earlier." Mac said as he looked at Ruben.

"Thanks, I sometimes sing whenever I have the time, but my eldest step sister, Sasha, doesn't really like it that much." Ruben said as he smiled.

"Well, I personally think you sounded nice...harmonious to be exact..." Mac said while blushing but then covered his mouth as he noticed what he said. 'Crap! Why did I say that!?' Mac thought to himself.

Ruben blushed at the comment and smiled a bit. "Gee, I'm flattered, thanks..." Ruben said as he looked away.

"So, would you be honored to dance with me?" Mac asked.

Ruben then felt a little nervous, it was the first time that someone asked him to dance with someone. "S-Sure, of course." Ruben said with a smile as he then started to dance with Mac.

As they kept dancing together, none of them took their eyes off of each other, while they did look away for a bit, they were still locked onto each other's eyes, as they smiled and danced happily through the night.

Suddenly, the chime of the clock rang as Ruben saw that it was now midnight, remembering what Callie said about the spell, Ruben knew he had to get away before his stepsisters find him.

"Oh goodness! I better get going!" Ruben said as he stopped dancing with Mac. "Goodbye!"

"Wait! Where are you going!?" Mac asked as he still wanted to be with Ruben, so he went after him.

Ruben ran as fast as he could and made it to the stairwell of the castle, but suddenly tripped over one of the steps, when Ruben got up, he saw that he was now back to his dirty and mud covered clothes and that spell used on him was reversed.

"Oh no..." Ruben said in fear, when Mac managed to catch up to Ruben, he was surprised to see Ruben in his dirt covered clothes. "Um..I can explain..."

"Ruben!?" A voice of shock asked as Sasha and her stepsisters saw Ruben. "What are you doing here?! You weren't supposed to come with us!" Sasha said in anger. "How'd you even get here!!?"

"I...Mac I'm so sorry." Ruben said as he knew he couldn't hold the truth from Mac. "I'm not the noble gentleman you think I am...my name is Ruben...I work as a custodian....I felt that if I ran away, you wouldn't see me for who I actually was...I am so deeply sorry..."

"As you should be!? You're lucky I don't kick you out of the house, despite me never wanting to see you again!!" Sasha said in anger. "You're nothing but pathetic, all you do is—"

"Be quiet!" Mac shouted at Sasha, which shocked Ruben and her, Mac then took a deep breath and he then walked over to Ruben and helped him get back on his feet. "Ruben...before I met you....I was only seen as a person who set to the throne, but you see me through that, and I am greatly thankful to you...so it doesn't matter if you wear something elegant or try to pretend to be someone else, what matters is that you are true to yourself...and that's why....I now want to ask....will you marry me?...."

Ruben couldn't contain all the tears he had in his eyes for Mac's kind words, for how both of them understood each other and see past some of their flaws, they were finally able to find someone who truly loves them for them and nothing more, that was each other.

"Mac...yes...yes, yes yes!!!" Ruben said with happiness as he then gave Mac a passionate hug.

The stepsisters were left in shock that Ruben will now marry Mac, Dipper and Mabel, who are still under the fairy's spell watched as they felt happy for Ruben and Mac.

"And now, the thing I always wanted to do." Mabel said as she then got her back legs ready and gave Sasha good buck to the face, causing Sasha to fall into a puddle of mud, and for her to let out a scream of anger.

Soon after, Erin and Tabii apologized to Ruben for their mistreatment towards him, which he forgave, Sasha was sent to work as one of the castle maids as punishment for mistreating Ruben, for Dipper and Mabel, they reverted back to mice and stayed with Ruben in the castle, and Ruben and Mac were happily married, and they all lived happily ever after...
