Shot 16

It's 5pm in the Evening and post the Shopping of Karwa Chauth after Lunch, Anupamaa along with Bapuji plans to meet Anuj & His Father while returning to Shah House as per Bapuji's Wish to meet both Harshavardhan & Anuj.

In the whole journey from the Shopping Areas to Kapadia House, the only Person who was damn tensed & nervous was Anupamaa Herself. But since it was Bapuji's Wish to meet Harshavardhan, Anupamaa being helpless agreed to go to Kapadia House with Bapuji helplessly.

"Bapuji hum fatafat Anuj aur Kaka se milkar nikal jayege haa. Woh aise zyaada daer tak dusro ke ghar main baithna sahi nhi hain na Bapuji.." speaks Anupamaa finally all of a sudden not having any courage to face Harshvardhan & His anger anymore.

Her mind only flashed the stern & emotionless face of Anuj's Father who Once considered Her & Loved Her as His Daughter unconditionally. A lone tear dropped from Her Eyes feeling immensely guilty & helpless.

"Arrey Beta pehle pahuchne toh de. Yaad rakh Anupama kabhi bhi apne Manzil pe pahuchne se pehle waha se lautne ki baath mat karna. Kyuki jab hum khud humari Manzil ko shuru hone se pehle hi khud Nazar lagayege toh waha tak pahuchege kaise ? Isiliye Dhyan Rakh che ki aise Aashubh baatein nhi karte shuru main hi.." adviced Bapuji while passing His most warm smile to His Daughter like Daughter in Law gently.

Anupamaa where as nodded Her Head positively & smiled back warmly not understanding what to say speechlessly & nervously.

Finally Anupamaa & Bapuji has reached Kapadia House easily with the help of Google Map Location sent by Devika in no time.

Both were sitting on the huge 2 Seater Sofa waiting for Anuj or His Father when Harshvardhan climbs down the Stairs staring nervous Anupamaa sternly yet keenly.

"Namaste Hasmukh Ji. I'm sorry aapku itna wait karna padha mujhse milne ke liye woh actually kya hain Ek Important Medical Meeting lined up thi Aaj isiliye late hogaya mujhe aane main." said Harshavardhan while standing infront of Bapuji finally & greeting Him gently.

"JI Namaste Kapadia Ji.. It's Ok.. Main samjh sakta hu, after all Kaam ki Ehmiyat Ek Retired Aadmi hi samajh sakta hain.." responded Bapuji while greeting & meeting Harshvardhan politely too.

"Waise Anuj kaisa hain abhi ? Is He Fine ? Accha laga sunke ki Anuj ko discharge kardiya Hospital se. Hopefully abb woh pehle se behter hain.." asked Bapuji the next second itself not able to control Himself to enquire about Anuj & His Health being worried genuinely.

"He is Fine now Hasmukh Ji.  Kanha Ji ki Aseem Kripa hain ki Mera Beta theek hain abb warna kuch logo ne toh bahoot koshish ki uska Dil toodne ki but Bhagwan ki Kripa thi ki woh hua nhi.." said Harshvardhan while replying to Bapuji for His concern but at the same while indirectly taunting back Anupamaa as well smiling fake fully.

Anupamaa where as understanding the taunt passed on Her by Her Kaka gripped Her Pallu tightly & shed Her lone tear from Her closed Eyes feeling hurt.

"Matlab Kapadia Ji ? Main kuch samjha nhi.. ?" questioned back Bapuji not understanding the depth of the Harshvardhan's words confusingly.

"Kuch bhi nhi Hasmukh Ji.. Main toh bas aise hi kuch bhi bolte rehta hu.. Waise Devika ne bataya tha mujhe ki aap aur Mrs Shah aane wale hain mujhse milne. Boliye kya kaam hain aapku mujhse ? Agr Anuj se milna hain toh main abhi Devika ko kehta hu woh milwa degi Anuj ko aap dono se.." replied Harshavardhan immediately changing His Words & His meaning smiling warmly.

While Anupamaa hearing Herself being addressed as Mrs Shah by Her Kaka instead of Anu Beti gulped down Her Saliva & stared at Her Kaka emotionally.

Somewhere She knew the behaviour of Harshvardhan towards Her is justified but Her Heart which always considered Harshvardhan as Her Own Father isn't ready to accept His Hate towards Her anymore. She in the fear of getting caught by anyone immediately wiped off Her non stop tears & kept playing with Her Pallu secretly yet hurt fully.

Harshvardhan too on the other hand for a moment felt bad too & an unshed lone tear too formed in His Eyes sensing the hurt feeling in Anupamaa's Eyes by His Words but soon realising the reality He composed Himself immediately & continued His conversation with Bapuji smilingly.

"Milna toh Anuj se hain Kapadia Ji but usse pehle mujhe Aapku aur Aapke poore Parivaar ko Invite bhi karna hain humare Ghar Aaj Raat ko for Karwa Chauth Celebration. Woh actually kya hain na jab se Anuj ne humare Ghar main kadam rakha tha as Anupamaa's Psychologist tabh se Ek gehra Rishta bandh sa gaya hain humare aur uske beech.. " invited Bapuji while passing a Box of Sweet to Harshvardhan smiling warmly.

Harshvardhan on the other hand smiled back too & accepted the Box of Sweet too from Bapuji but at the same time His Ears only Echoed with the Sentence of "Psychologist of Anupamaa" ringing in His Ears continuously being all confused.

"Aayege na Aap aur Aapka Parivaar humare Ghar aaj Raat ? I know badi short notice main I'm inviting You all but the moment I came to know You are here I felt I should invite You. Please aaiyega zaroor Anuj ko lekar. I Promise Anuj ke Health ko lekar koi problem nhi hoga. We will make special arrangements for that I assure You." said Bapuji requesting Harshvardhan for His Presence once again in His House Tonight smilingly.

Harshvardhan where as nodded His Head positively still staring Anupamaa and Her actions keenly.

"Accha abb aap dono jaiye aur mil lijiye Anuj se. Usse pata nhi hain ki You both are here. Surprise hojayega woh.." said Harshavardhan politely while gesturing a Servant to take Bapuji & Anupamaa to Anuj's Room sternly.

Soon both Anupamaa & Bapuji smiled back and heads towards Anuj's Room following the Servant silently.

Anuj's Room

Soon Anupamaa while playing with Her Pallu nervously reaches infront of Anuj's Room all alone . Bapuji too wanted to visit Anuj but getting tired due to excessive stress since last Two Hours couldn't climb up the stairs anymore, so as a result He decided to send Anupamaa only all alone to meet Anuj for Once.

Anupamaa being nervous didn't want to meet Anuj alone in His Room but on Bapuji's continuous request & on a second thought to meet Anuj's Wife, Anupama finally gathered some courage and decided to go towards Room all alone.

She opened the door & stepped inside the Room searching for Anuj when She heard a loud rhythmic voice from inside the Washroom continuously.

A wide yet a small smile appeared on Her Lips moving towards the Washroom unknowingly. Her feets automatically took up the speed & stood right infront of Washroom hearing rhythmic voice pleasurably.

"Aaj bhi Anuj ke Sur kitne Surile hain. Ek dum saras. Kahi na kahi Aaj bhi mujhe accha lagta hain inke Awaaz main Mera Phebarate [ Favourite ] gaana sunna." said Anupamaa all to Herself enjoying to listen Her favourite Song from Anuj's unrhythmic voice blissfully.

She closed Her Eyes in pleasure & tapped Her Fingers on the Washroom Door rhythmically while getting completely drowned in the magical voice of Anuj dreamily.

"Dekha Ek Khwab To Yeh Silsile Huye
Door Tak Nigahon Mein Hain Gul Khile Huye.." sang Anuj from inside the Washroom while taking a much needed Hot Shower peacefully.

"Haa..aaaa
Yeh Gila Hai Aapki Nigahon Se
Phool Bhi Ho Darmiyan To Faasle Huye.." continuing ahead with the Female Lyrics, Anupamaa too sang along with Anuj in a flow blissfully.

Anuj the very second stopped His Shower & turned all around His Washroom trying to recognise the Owner of the Voice being shocked. He for a moment immediately comes out of the Bath Tub & moved towards the Door.

He being impatient tried to open the Door in rush which unfortunately or fortunately leads to the Door Jam locking Him inside the Washroom sadly.

"Yeh Anuj ko kya hogaya ? Gaana aage kyu nhi garahe ? Bhool gaye kya aage ke Lines ?" asked Anupamaa to Herself not hearing the next lines of lyrics from Anuj being confused.

"Mujhe chalna chahiye abb. Bahoot der hogayi hain aur waise bhi Anuj toh naha rahe hain toh mera iss waqt inke Room main teharna sahi nhi hoga. Agr inki Biwi ne dekh liya toh sahi kuch ghalat hi samjhegi." expressing Her inner Fear all to Herself being worried for Anuj, Anupama finally turned and moved towards the Exit of the Door steadily.

"Shayad Mera weham tha.. Anuj tu bhi na Ek dum Pagaal che.. Anu yaha thodi aayegi ? Woh toh Shah House main hogi na apne Ghar walo ke saath.. Tu bhi na..Huh.." speaking all to Himself not sensing any movement from the opposite side, Anuj growls over Himself resuming His Hot Bath yet again.

"Dekha Ek Khwab To Yeh Silsile Huye
Door Tak Nigahon Mein Hain Gul Khile Huye.." continued Anuj yet again after a pause of sometime enjoying His Hot Bath thoroughly.

A wide smile yet again appears on Anupamaa's Face halting Her feets to move towards the Exit of Room immediately.

She yet again moved towards the Washroom Door and stood right infront of the Door listening Anuj's Voice smilingly.

"Meri Saanson Mein Basi Khushboo Teri.." continued Anuj happily while applying the Soap all over His Face and His Body recalling His beautiful moments with Anupamaa in Past.

"Yeh Tere Pyar Ki Hai Jadugari..
Haa..haa..aaa.." sang Anupama ahead in a flow too yet again recollecting Her beautiful moments with Anuj in Past as well.

Anuj yet again was perplexed & tried to move towards the Door but being completely drenched in Soap from Top to Bottom sighs sadly & assumes it as His imagination instantly.

"Dekha Ek Khwab To Yeh Silsile Huye
Door Tak Nigahon Mein Hain Gul Khile Huye.." sang both Anuj & Anupama together from their own respective sides enjoying their singing session thoroughly.

Soon the Song session comes to an End but both being completely drowned in the magic of the Song & their memorable moments of Past from their respective places kept humming the Tone dreamily.

"Aaahhhhh...." yelled both Anuj & Anupama all of a sudden staring each other being perplexed.

There stood all wet Anuj infront of equally shocked Anupamaa infront of Washroom's opened door all wrapped in His Towel from from Bottom exposing His Upper naked body completely.

Anupamaa too on the other hand not understanding anything immediately closed Her Eyes &  turned around running towards the Bedroom door breathing heavily.

"Soorieee Soorriieeee... Bahoot bahoot bahoot sooorieeee Anoojjj.. Mujhe pata nhi tha aap bahar aane wale the.. Pata hota toh main khud bahar chali jaati... Sorriieee..." apologised Anupamaa continuously in One Breath not able to register the recent happening infront of Her nervously.

"Chali jaati matlab ? Iska matlab tum yaha sacchi main ho ? Sacchi main Tum ho yaha ?" asked Anuj to Himself & to Anupamaa as well still trying to register the presence of Anupamaa infront of Him in real all shocked.

"Nni jhooth main hu.. Kya Anuj agr main yaha jhooth main hoti toh sacchi main thodi aapke saamne hoti main.." replied Anupamaa getting really annoyed swiftly turning towards half naked Anuj unknowingly.

Soon the next moment Anupamaa's Eyes popped wide open & Her palms played with Her Pallu yet again sweating profusely.

And why not ? After all the well built muscular body of  Anuj Kapadia was clearly exposed to Anupamaa's Eyes shamelessly.

Water drops kept dripping from His Hair to His each part of muscular body finally landing on the ground second by second non stop.

"Aapne kaafi acchi Budy [ Body ] bana li hain waise Anuj.. Acche lag rahe hain aap.." praised Anupamaa in a flow unaware of Her own words staring Anuj continuously.

Anuj too lost Himself in the beautiful Eyes of Anupamaa staring Her admiringly. Both yet again gets busy in recollecting their Memorable Journey/Memories spent together Years ago. Their feets automatically marched closer to each other finally standing infront of each other staring one another affectionately.

"Hogaya ghoorna Ek dusre ko ? Ya aur ghoorna hain ? Agr hain toh batado main Uncle aur Bapuji ko wahi ka wahi ruk deti hu yaha aane se." spoke Devika from no where teasing Her Two Best Friends shamelessly while standing at the entece of Room door giggling slowly.

Anuj & Anupama on the other hand immediately comes in their senses still trying to calm themselves balnkly.

"Chup kar Devika.. Chal main chalti hu haa.. Tu teme [ Time ] pe aajana hain sabko lekar Ghar. Daer mat karna haa..."  bidding bye finally not able to stand there anymore Anupama immediately runs towards the Exit of the Door glowing all red.

Anuj where as too immediately gets vanished inside His Walk In Closet ignoring Devika feeling embarassed, while Devika chuckled teasingly.

Shah House

2-3 Hours Later

It's 7 in the Evening now & the Entire Shah House was decked up beautifully to celebrate the Auspicious Day of Karwa Chauth by every single Suhaagun in Anupamaa's Colony.

Baa & Dolly were too beautifully dressed in their Dresses decorating their respective Pooja Thaals while Anupamaa post Her return from Kapadia House got busy in Karwa Chauth Preparations.

"Arreyyy Mummy !!! What are you doing here ? Sab bahar has bol rahe hain aur aap yaha kitchen main paseene baha rahi ho ? Aur yeh kya ? Aap abhi tak ready nhi hui." asked Toshu while entering inside the kitchen looking really disappointed.

"Haa Toshu jaarahi hu ne.. Bas yeh sab Shnaces [ Snacks ] ready karlo sabke liye phir jaati hu na..." responded Anupamaa getting busy in Her work yet again instantly.

While Toshu slapped His Own Forehead unbelievably at first  and then stopping Anupamaa from doing Her Work further He dragged Anupamaa to Paakhi's Room forcefully gaining everyone's attention immediately.

"Ghar main tamasha karke iss Maharani ka Dil nhi bhara kya jo abb saare Mahaule ke saamne bhi tamasha karne pe tuli Hui hain yeh ?" murmurs Baa all to Herself witnessing Toshu & Anupamaa Scene feeling embarassed.

She being already angry with Anupamaa glared at Her deadly & mentally cursed Her Daughter in Law as well feeling Her glance at Her nervously.

"Toshu Beta sunna.. Dekh na sab dekh rahe hain hume hi palat palat ke. Accha baba main chalti hu na tere saath per chod toh sahi mujhe pehle.." pleased Anupamaa feeling uncomfortable admist the people of Colony & Her Baa glancing at Her confusingly/angrily respectively.

Soon the next moment Anupamaa's Palm was freed and She was found inside Paakhi's Room all perplexed.

"Now that's like a good Mummy. Abb yeh lo aur jaldi se ready hokar neeche aajao Meri Jaan. Bhale hi aapne Vrath na rakha ho but aapku iss Ghar ke har Celebrations ko kholkar enjoy karne ka poora haq hain. Isiliye jaldi se ready ho jao aur neeche aajao hum wait karahe hain aapka.. Abb please daatna waatna mat.. Woh sab baad main karlena fursat se for now aap jaldi se ready ho jao please" said Toshu politely while handing Anupamaa a packet of Gift smiling warmly.

Anupamaa on the other nodded Her Head positively and heads inside the Washroom to get freshen up immediately.

Kapadia House

It's Evening now & as per His determination & His every year Ritual Anuj was all set to break His Vrath happily.

Harshvardhan on the other hand knowing everything regarding Anuj's Vrath post Anupamaa's departure was all quite working on His Laptop silently. He inspite of being aware of Anuj's presence near him was sternly busy in ignoring Anuj continuously.

"Dad please.. Sorry na.. i lied to You about My Hand Burn but I was helpless. You were forcing Me to have the Soup when I was actually Fasting for Anu. And very well You know how much important Karva Chauth plays in My Life." speaks Anuj in all His soft & emotional voice sitting right infront of His Dad pleading genuinely.

"Devika tell Your Best Friend that I have no grudges against Him. Whatever He had done was out of His Blind Love for His Lover & what ever I'm doing is out of My Love for My Son. So if He has a right to lie to Me about His Vrath for His Lover toh I also have a right to be angry on Him for His Health." said Harshvardhan in a bit stern tone halting His Laptop Work & moving towards His Room hurtfully.

"And Haa also tell Your Best Friend that if He wants to go to Shah House toh He can go I have no Issues coz sunna toh isse hain nhi but at the same time tell Him not force me to come with Him. Jaana hain toh tum chali jao iske saath but Please don't force Me. I prefer doing something really good rather than wasting My Time on such silly demands of My Son jiska koi future hi nhi hain." continued Harshvardhan  further more while pausing His feets in middle glaring Anuj fiercely.

Whereas Devika knowing the seriousness of the matter just nodded Her Head positively & heads towards the Exit of the Kapadia House dragging stubborn Anuj with Her silently.

She being with Anuj & Harshvardhan since long time very well knew the presence of both in same House or under same roof on the happening of any such heated circumstances would only heat up the situation even more, so being mature enough She agreed with Harshvardhan & dragged Anuj outside the Kapadia House with Her immediately.

"Yaarr Devika... Why did You drag Me out of My own House ? I wanted to talk with Dad. He just can't force Me over everything Yaar. If He doesn't like Anupamaa that doesn't mean He will force Me too to Hate Anupamaa.." yelled frustrated Anuj not able to handle His Dad's anger on Him for long being hurt.

Tests too welled up in His Eyes feeling devastated. His Eyes too turned Red feeling hurt & broken.

"Anuj calm down Yaar. Uncle bas ghussa hain tumse. And He never forced You to Hate Anupamaa Yaar. You are just thinking about Yourself as a Lover of Anupamaa but not as a Father of a Heartbroken Son who is everyday watching His Son living a lifeless life since last 27 Years." explained Devika with all Her Calmness in Her trying to knock some senses inside Anuj's Mind maturely.

"And who said Uncle doesn't like Anu ? Kisne kaha Haa ? For Your kind information He Loves Anu even more than You Love Her Yaar.. Aaj bhi Uncle Anu ko Beti ki tarah chahte hain but the 27 Years old Scene of witnessing His Son crying bitterly over the betrayal of His Lover isn't letting Uncle forgive Anu. Just give Him sometime Anuj. I'm sure as the Days will pass Uncle will come to know the entire Truth which will force Him to forgive Anu very soon." continued Devika ahead assuring Anuj confidently.

Anuj on the other hand understanding Devika very well wiped off His Tears & heads inside His House not willing to Hurt His Father any more for His One Wish emotionally.

"Kanha Ji in oolje rishton ko abb aap hi sahi karsakte ho. Please do something & erase all the misunderstanding between My Family Members as soon as possible." prayed Devika unable to see Her Loved Ones in pain every single day genuinely.

Soon She too wiped off Her Tears & moved inside the Kapadia House towards Her injured & Heartbroken Friend emotionally.

Shah House

Inside Paakhi's Room

1 Hour Later

There stood Anupamaa infront of dressing table mirror all decked up in Her beautiful Light Pink Saree gifted by Toshu giving Herself a final touch of glow through make up & hair style.

"Offo ! Yeh Toshu bhi na. Pata nhi kya kya soojte rehta hain isse.. Tayar hone ke bahane yeh bhaari bhargum Saree thamadi bolo. Pata nhi kaisi lag rahi hogi mujhe pe" tells Anupamaa all to Herself all annoyed trying to adjust the Plaits of Her Saree irritatingly.

"Waise jaise main tayar ho rahi hogi waise hi Anuj ki Biwi bhi horahi hogi na unke liye ? Haa yeh alag baath hain ki main aaj tayar bas naam ke liye aur beman se tayar horahi hu but waha Anuj ki Biwi unke liye Sacche Dil se Sola Shringaar karahi hogi..." said Anupamaa further continuing to get ready step by step while applying pinch of Sindoor in Her Maang thinking about Anuj unknowingly.

Soon the moment  Anupamaa applied the Sindoor while remembering Anuj  a small amount of Sindoor falls on Her Nose Tip bringing a wide smile on Her Face instantly.

"Anuj kehte hain ki Sindoor ka Naak pe geerna matlab apne Pati se dheerr saara Pyaar milna.. Mujhe toh apne Pati se Pyaar nni mila per Kanha Ji kare Anuj ki Biwi jo koi bhi ho usse dheer saara Pyaar mile Anuj se. Anuj hain hi itne Acche ki har Ladki Anuj jaisa Pati chahegi." praising Anuj in a flow yet again all lost in Her thoughts, Anupamaa unknown to Herself wore Her Mangalsutra too smiling dreamily.

The more Anupamaa talked about Anuj while getting ready for Karwa Chauth, the more glow grew in Her Face second by second.

And Finally giving Herself a Final touch to Her Hairs, Anupamaa tied Her Hair Bun with a fresh Jasmine Gajra smiling widely.

"Kanha Ji kare Anuj hamesha khush rahe aur unki zindagi hamesha mahekti rahe iss taaze Mogre ke Gajre ki tarah.." prayed Anupamaa finally completing Her getting ready session happily.

"Lo bolo Anuj ke baare main sochte sochte mein kab tayar hogayi mujhe hi nhi pata chala." Unknown of Her own words said to Herself while thinking about Anuj Anupamaa blushed & smiled widely.

But soon Her Eyes fell on the Family Photo of Her & Her Family realising Her Sin immediately. Her mind too stopped working & a sense of guilt & embarassment formed in Her Heart feeling restless.

"Yeh kya bakwaas bolrahi thi Anupamaa ? Chup kar Pagaal Chokri. Iss tarah Anuj ke baare main sochna sahi nhi tere liye." Soch agr unki Biwi ko pata chalega toh kya hoga ?.." scolding Herself, Anupamaa finally adjusted Her Saree for the One Last time before leaving.

She soon exits Her Room and moved towards the Shah House Hall restlessly.
