Shot 14

The moment Anupamaa saw the Person infront of Her, Her Eyes welled up & Her Heart too pumped 1000 times more faster than Her regular Heart pumping feeling nervous.

On One side it was Anupamaa who was battling with Her own Fear of facing thousands of questions of the Person infront of Her, and on the other hand it was the other Person who was all ready to bombard number of questions on Anupamaa regarding Past.

A sense of anger & hatred was clearly visible on the Face of the Person for Anupamaa recollecting their Past sternly, while Anupamaa on the other side helplessly felt immense guilty understanding the emotions of the Person infront of Her crying silently.

"Dad ? You here ? When did You return from US ? " asked Anuj excitedly seeing His Father infront of His Eyes after long One Month from no where all surprised.

Dr Harshavardhan Kapadia

Dad ! Yes it was Anuj's Father Dr Harshvardhan Kapadia, One of the World Famous Pulmonologist, who had just returned from USA after attending His One Month Long Medical Conference.

The moment He landed in India, His sources Informed Him about Anuj's Accident leading Him rush to the City Hospital immediately.

"Haa Beta..  My Medical Conference had ended Yesterday so I thought to return to My Son as soon as possible. I tried for Yesterday the moment Conference ended but unfortunately I didn't get any Afternoon Flight Yesterday so had to return Today by Early Morning Flight & when I Landed here I came to know about Your Accident.." explained Harshvardhan heading towards His injured Son smiling warmly.

While Devika moved and gave Harshwardhan His way to move towards His injured Son instantly.

"How are You Devika Beta ? Iss Gadhe ne tumhe zyaada pareshan toh nhi kiya na ? I'm sure He might have troubled You alot and the Live example is just infront of Our Eyes." questioned Harshavardhan showering all His Fatherly Love on Devika & at the same time teasing His own Son care freely.

"I am Fine Uncle. How are You ? And Yes Your Son had indeed troubled Me alot in this One Month. Infact He have not eaten anything according to His Diet Plan this whole One Month & have black mailed Me too not to tell anything to You or else He would make My Transfer into another City in other School.." complained Devika instantly like a cute small kid complaining about His Sibling in jet speed.

Anuj where as dropped down His Jaw in utter shock and glanced back at the cunning Devika spilling out utter nonsense about Him smirking evilly.

"Nhi nhi Kaka.. Anuj ne aisa kuch nhi kiya hoga.. Yeh Devika toh jhooth bol rahi hain. Aapku toh pata hain na Devika ko kitna pasand hain Anuj ko har chote se chote baath main phasana. So aaj bhi woh yahi karahi hain..Anuj ko bina baath ke phasa rahi hain." said Anupamaa in no time forgetting all Her inner Fear & Nervousness defending Anuj immediately.

"Haa Haa Anu... You are so Right... Main kaise bhool sakta hu ki yeh Devika kitni badi Shaitan aur Dushman hain Mere Bete ki.. Thank You Anu Beta mujhe Mere Bete ko daantne se rokhne ke liye.." replied Harshavardhan too in flow getting carried away with the fun moments laughing cheerfully.

Whereas Devika & Anuj glanced at eachother for a while and then smiled back at eachother wishing best for the future relationship of Anupamaa & Harshavardhan genuinely.

While both Toshu & Samar stood their all shocked & stared at their own Mother witnessing Her unseen Mode being all confused.

"Arrey Toshu.. Samar... Why are You Two standing there ? Please come and meet My Dad  Dr Harshvardhan Kapadia. He is One of the Best Pulmonologist all Over India.. And Dad meet them.. They are Anupamaa's Sons.. Partosh Shah & Samar Shah." introduced Anuj as soon as His Eyes noticed Toshu & Samar standing in a corner all confused trying to register the scene keenly.

Harshvardhan on the other hand immediately comes in reality & shifts His Eyes towards the Sons of Anupamaa i.e towards Toshu & Samar at first & then towards Anupamaa all shocked.

His Eyes yet again flashed the Past incident & His Face too turned Stern conveying His anger towards Her instantly.

"Devika You be with Anuj.. I will have a talk with Anuj's Dr & come." said Harshavardhan in a very harsh tone leaving the Ward angrily.

Harshavardhan immediately turns towards the Exit of the Ward but before He leaves the Ward His Eyes once again glared at nervously head bowed Anupamaa furiously sending severe shivers down Anupamaa's Spine continuously.

"Toshu... Samar chalo.. Hume chalna chahiye haa.. Tumare Papa aagaye hoge Offise [ Office ] se aur Paakhi ke Twision [ Tuition ] ka bhi teme [ Time ] horaha hain.." spoke Anupamaa in no time like an any Rajdhani Express not willing to stay in the Ward any more second sweating profusely.

Soon Anupamaa not able to speak anything further immediately Bids Bye to both Anuj & Devika & exits the Ward even before Harshavardhan leaves all Sad & Nervous.

While Toshu & Samar too bids Bye to Anuj & Devika & leaves the Ward behind their Nervous Mother all confused yet silently.

"I know You won't stay away from Anupamaa no matter how much I try to Stop You so I won't Force You to be away from Her either but please I request You not to keep any expectations from Me regarding Anupamaa & Her Act nor try to force Me to forget everything. Maine usse abhi tak Maaf nhi kiya aur na karuga. Maybe You can forgive Her for Her Selfish Act She had done with You but I can't forget the Selfish Act She had done with My Son 27 Years ago.. " ordered Harshavardhan sternly before leaving the Ward behind Anupamaa angrily.

Anuj on the other hand sighs sadly & lays down on His Bed while closing He Eyes thinking all about the frequent mishaps going to happen in future b/w His Dad & Anupamaa all worried.

Shah House

Soon Anupamaa along with Her Two Sons reached Shah House all tired. But no matter how much She was tired or tensed post hectic day, Anupamaa marched towards Her Favourite Spot i.e Her Kitchen hurriedly. She immediately washed Her Hands & wiped off then with Her Pallu drowning Herself completely in the Dinner preparations.

Toshu & Samar on the other hand moved towards their respective Rooms to get freshen up being tired.

"Aagayi Maharani apne Yaar ke saath Nain Mataka karke.. Milgayi fursat aapku Maharani apne Ghar ke liye Raat ka khaana banane ?" taunted Baa while sitting on Her Jhulla glaring Anupamaa furiously.

"Aati kaise nhi Baa ? After all rehna toh isse issi Ghar main hain na Aapke saath. Apne Yaar ke saath thodi rehna hain Baa isse..." playing along with Baa, Kavya too taunts Anupamaa & warms Her Palms in the already burning Flames sparked by Baa smirking evilly.

While Anupamaa not paying any attention to the toxic words of Baa & Kavya continued Her Work all drowned in Her Dinner preparations silently.

"ANUPAMAA..." soon a loud echoed Masculine Deadly voice was heard & Anupamaa jumped in complete shock & fear.

She slowly came out of the Kitchen & stood near the Kitchen all numb waiting for the Bullet to get fired on Her like Daily Routine silently.

"Anupamaa tumhari himmat kaise hui thi bina Mere Permission ke Hospital jaane ki ? Kal toh Bapuji ne kaha tha isiliye tumhe jaana diya maine itni raat ko but Aaj jaane se pehle tumhe zaroori nhi laga mujhse poochna ? Yaar se milne ki itni tadap jaag uthi thi kya tumhe ?" scolded Vanraj like any shameless Husband humiliating His own Wife infront of Baa & Kavya angrily.

Soon Paakhi, Toshu, Samar & Bapuji who were in their Room too rushed out & stood their  silently trying to analyse the situation happening in between Vanraj & Anupamaa keenly.

Anupama where as unable to speak anything in Emotionless State stood their staring Vanraj speechlessly.

The only flashes which were flashing in Her Mind was the Last Day's  meeting of Her with Anuj in the Ice Cream Parlour post Devika's exit for a phone call even before Her Phone ranged.

_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_Flash Back Begins_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_

Creamstone Ice Cream Parlour

Both sat there silently & were waiting for their Ice Creams when Anuj's right palm in order to the Mobile brushed Anupamaa's One Palm unknowingly.

A sudden shiver ran down the Spines of the both of them feeling blissed. Soon their Eyes too met and their Eyes conveyed every unsaid words to eachother welling up their Eyes shortly. Their Past Moments too flashed in their Eyes smiling warmly.

"You remember Anu in Our College Days We used to visit Our regular Ice Cream Parlour post College ? And Devika used to literally Eat Our Ice Creams too in the name of Hunger." recalled Anuj giggling & shaking His Head unbelievably feeling nostalgic.

"Haa Anuj mujhe Yaad hain . Aur mujhe yeh bhi yaad ki tum kaise Devika se balda lene ke chakkar main poora Ice Cream Parlour tehaz nehaz kar dete the & issi chakkar main bechare uss Ice Cream Poulour ke Ouner [ Ice Cream Parlour ke Owner ] ko hum sab ko bahar nikalkar phek dena padhta tha taaki unka aur nukhsaan na ho.." giggled Anupamaa too recalling their Past once again cheerfully.

"Haa Haa theek hain.. isme kuch hasne ki baath nhi hain.. Woh toh main isiliye karta tha taaki woh Ice Cream Parlour Wale Uncle hume khud bahar nikalde taaki Devika waha ki saari Ice Creams khtm na karde.." spoke Anuj trying to defend Himself along with playing His Card fumbling nervously or rather say acting effortlessly.

Anupamaa whereas agreed Sarcastically & laughed Her whole Heart out teasing Anuj like an uncontrollable kid continuously.

"Accha Accha now bas Haa... Tum mere maze le rahi ho na toh tumhe yeh yaad hain ki kaise tum unn sadak chaap Badmashoon ko unki Aukat yaad dilati  jab woh log Devika ko chedte the. Nani Dadi sab yaad dilati thi  tum unhe tumahare Ek Puncheshwar se.." spoke Anuj ahead  while recollecting their Days too giggling slowly.

And that's it, the cheerful Laugh on Anupamaa's Face soon disappears & Her Mind recalls Her Past Days turning Her all Dull.

Being a Well known Psychologist & Anupamaa's Best Friend too Anuj very well knew what & which Past Moment would trigger Anupamaa's memory lane, so as a result He purposely started talking about their Ice Cream Parlour Days in College smartly.

"Haa Anuj yaad hain but abb woh sab baatein karne ka kya matlab ? Woh toh purani baath hain na. Abb halat alag hain. Jab main aur abb main zameen aasmaan ka farq hain.." replied Anupamaa in all Her nervousness not able to understand what to speak ahead.

"Wohi toh main keh raha hu Anu...Kyu hain Zameen Aasmaan ka farq abb ? Jab College Days main tum koi bhi Ghalat kaam bardasht nhi kar paati thi abb chahe woh tum pe ho ya Devika pe ho ya phir kisi aur pe, toh aaj kaise karrahi ho tum Vanraj ke nonsense behaviour tolerate towards You ?." playing His Trump Card finally on the right time & on right topic, Anuj passed a questionable look to Anupamaa patiently.

While Anupamaa felt goosebumps on Her entire Body realising the deep meaning of Her Best Friend feeling numb.

"Bolo Anu.. Tum kyu jawab nhi deti Vanraj ko ? Tum kyu uske yeh nonsense behaviour sehti rehti ho ? Now don't tell Me ki woh Mere Pati hain. Mere Bachoon ke Baap hain and all that Bullshit... I know tum abb poori badal chuki ho apne Ghar ke mahul main rehte rehte but iska yeh matlab nhi na Anu ki tum poori tareeqe se badaldo apne AAP ko ki Ghalat ke khilaf Awaaz bhi na utha sako." continued Anuj trying His level Best to play with Anupamaa's Brain cleverly.

"Anuj..Bas Pleashh [ Please  ] .. Aap jo keh rahe hain Mere Aaj aur Kal ko lekar woh sab baath alag hain toh inhe Pleashh ek dusre se ke mat jodiye. Aur waise bhi Anuj Jawaani main Ghalat ke khilaf Awaaz uthana alag baath hain aur abb iss Umer main yeh sab karna alag...." continued Anupamaa further still feeling sweaty.

Somewhere deep inside the Heart of Anupamaa, She knew the fact that whatever Anuj had told about Her wasn't Wrong at all. She too Agreed that Her silence towards Her so called Husband wasn't Right especially after the Truth revelation of Him infront of Her.

Her Eyes too welled up on realising the fact that How much She had changed Herself for Her so called Husband & their happy married life. She too wondered How the Time & Environment around Her has changed simple yet a brave Girl who never tolerated any nonsense into a  timid & a family oriented Married Woman in no time.

A feeling of Guilt too started building up in Her Heart realising How much injustice She had done with Herself over the Past few Years unknowingly.

Anuj on the other hand analysing His Plan working on Anupamaa smiled Victoriously & sighed in relief finally.

"I'm sorry Anu agr tumhe bura laga toh. Mera intention tumhe hurt karne ka nhi tha. I just wanted ki tum pehle jaise ban jao jo ghalat ke khilaf Awaaz uthati thi. Tumhe iss Halat main dekhkar mujhe kya, Devika ko bhi accha nhi lagta. Toh please sochna iske baare main. Main yeh nhi keh raha hu ki tum apne Family ke against jao bilkul nhi. But atleast Ghalat ke saath bhi mat raho Please." firing His last Atom Bomb on Anupamaa, Anuj soon left for Washroom giving Anupamaa Her own space to think over the conversation calmly...

Anupamaa whereas gets drowned in Her own thoughts thinking about Anuj's each words confusingly.

_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_Flash Back Ends_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_

"Yaad rahe Anupamaa next time se mujhse bina pooche  tum iss Ghar ke bahar kadam nhi rakhogi. Warna anjaam accha nhi hoga.." warned Vanraj continuing with His domination on silent Anupamaa angrily.

"Papa what's all this ? Why are You behaving so ruthless day by day towards Mummy ? Bas karo na Papa.. Baa kam thi kya jo aap bhi jab dekho jab shuru hojate ho Mummy ko sunane ke liye ?" fired back Paakhi unable to handle any more injustice towards Her Mother staring Vanraj irritatiny.

"Haa Papa Paakhi is right. Please Stop dominating Mummy on every single matter. Mummy didn't go Hospital for Fun or to play Garba there but instead She had gone there because Dr Kapadia had met an Accident & being a Friend of Dr Kapadia  I don't think Mummy has done anything Wrong in it." agreed Toshu too with Paakhi giving His full Support to Anupamaa firmly.

While Vanraj who always saw Paakhi & Toshu supporting Him against Anupamaa was hell shocked witnessing the same Kids of His Supporting Anupamaa over Him all of a sudden.

"Mummy aap jaaiye aur rest kariye Mere Room main. Baaki ka kaam main Bua dekh lege." said Paakhi once again supporting Her Mother over Her Father warmly.

Whereas Anupamaa feeling equally perplexed too glanced at both Her Kids at first but then later Her Eyes welled up feeling blessed.

She silently without uttering a word leaves the Place wiping Her Sweat from Her Forehead feeling tired to which Vanraj & Kavya just glanced at eachother still trying to register the recent happenings being all confused.

Paakhi's Room

Anupamaa soon enters the Room being all tired. She sat on the Bed and with the help of Her Pallu Anupamaa wiped off the sweat continuously forming on Her Forehead feeling stressed.

"Oo Babre ! Kitna waqt hogaya hain maine Anuj ya Devika ko Cull [ Call ] bhi nhi kiya.. Chalo main Fatafat Cull [ Call ] karti hu aur poochtiu hu Anuj ke baare main. Kanha Ji kare woh theek ho.." utters Anupamaa all to Herself while finding Her Cell Phone on Her Bed worriedly.

"Wow Anupamaa.. Waha bahar Ek Shabd bola nhi Gaya tumse jab tumhare Bacche mujhse Zubaan lada rahe the aur yaha Yaar se baath karne Phone dunda jaraha hain Waah !.." comes a Taunting Voice of Vanraj while clapping His Hands staring Anupamaa angrily.

Anupamaa on the other hand turns around only to find Angry Vanraj standing near the entrance of Paakhi's Room boiling in utmost Hatred.

"Dekhiye Mera is waqt bilkul bhi mood nhi hain aapse ladai ya jhagda karne ka. Toh Pleashh [ Please ] kripa karke yaha se chale jaiye aur Khud Shanti se rahiye aur mujhe bhi rehne dijiye ne.. Warna jo aapke Karname hain na woh sabke saamne aane se koi bhi nhi rokhsakta. Jaise Mere saamne aapka Kaala Sacch aaya tha theek ussi tarah aapke Bacchoon ke saamne aur Baa Bapuji ke saamne aane se bhi koi nhi rokhsakta." said Anupamaa in full ignorance not willing to fight with Her Husband right now all tired.

While Vanraj lost His Anger feeling insulted and was about to Slap Anupamaa in no time when a Strong Grip from no where held His raised Palm in Mid Air instantly.

"Yeh haath agli baar mujh pe uthane se pehle Ek baar yeh soch lijiyega ki kahi aapka hi Ek thappad aape hi bhaari na padh jaye. Agr main chahu toh aapka poora saach main poore Parivaar ke saamne laasakti hu.." warned Anupamaa all of a sudden gathering some courage for Herself finally glaring Vanraj deadly.

Her Eyes dangerously flashed the burning sensations of Her Anger She held for Her Husband for His Cheat on Her. Her Grip too turned Harsh on Vanraj's Hands for a while and then later Anupamaa left Vanraj's Hand in a forceful manner witnessing the Pain in Vanraj's Hands angrily.

"Har baar ki tarah aaj bhi aapne Humare Bachoon ko sirf Mera kaha sirf isiliye kyuki unhone aapse Zubaan ladai. Waise theek hi hain na.. Aaj jo kaam Mere Bacchon ne kiya hain na woh toh sirf Ek Maa ke hi Bacche karsakte hain.. Pehli baar aapke Khilaf jaakar Apni Maa ka saath diya..Mujhe nhi pata ki kaise aur kabse Toshu & Paakhi ne Mera saath dena shuru kiya but itna zaroor keh sakti hu main ki Dun't ever mesh with My Keeds [ Don't ever mess with My Kids ] Toshu Ke Papa.." spoke Anupamaa ahead continuing to take a Stand for Herself glaring Vanraj furiously.

Vanraj on the other unable to speak further leaves the place fiercely forming a big smirk on Anupamaa's Face for the very First Time for a change.
