After Dinner

It was the time to wind up the kitchen after dinner. Everyone had already retired to their respective rooms due to extreme tiredness while Baa and Bapuji sat in living hall having their might medicines given by Anupama.

Dolly and Devika on the other side were all busy in last minute kitchen chores winding up the kitchen.

"Ok Bye V... Take care and don't forget about the important meeting with Mr Williams tomorrow. See yaa." spoke Kavya while standing right infront of the main door while hugging Vanraj shamelessly.

Vanraj on the other hand replying back to Kavya reciprocate the hug standing right infront of Anupama shamelessly.

"I swear if I was not tied up with Anupama's swear then pakka main iss V aur iss Maide Ki Katori ko khud nooch nocch ke jungli Sheroon ko dedeti." frowns Devika while tightening her grip on one of the plate witnessing her best friend's emotionless yet hurtful reaction helplessly.

While for Anupama watching her husband hugging Kavya wasn't new at all today as well. It was her daily routine to watch Vanraj and Kavya hugging eachother before bidding bye after their frequent Video Conference.

What was new for Anupama today was the hug which her husband and his colleague shared daily wasn't any professional one but was a hug of Pure Betray and Cheat, which knowingly or unknowingly broke her every second by second helplessly.

"Baa Bapuji main zara aatiu hmm." excusing herself not able to control her emotions anymore, Anupama handing over the medicines to Bapuji immediately rushes towards her room turning Baa and Bapuji both confused.

"Hein ? Isse kya hua ? [ what happened to her ? ]." asked Baa smelling something really suspicious watching Anupama's sudden retreating figure suspiciously.

While Bapuji too glanced Anupama keenly for a while but then soon retires to his own room thinking something really deeply, followed by Leela and others silently.

While Anuj left the Shah House silently feeling tired and restless.

Next Day

It's another Day for the Shah Family. As usual like every morning Sun has grabbed his throne up in the Sky like a ruthless king lighting the whole Ahmedabad with his Sharp Sun Light.

Toshu, Vanraj had already left for morning jog, while Bapuji and Mama Ji for Morning Walk and the rest i.e Baa was in her Pooja Ghar doing her Morning Aarti, and Paakhi was getting arranging her School Bag for her School like always.

Anupama and Dolly were in kitchen preparing for breakfast, and last but not the least Samar and Devika were busy in discussing something important related to Dance Academy on Laptop.

Inshort each and everyone in Shah House were completely busy in their own chores sincerely.

[ Here in my Story Samar owns a Dance Academy and is pursuing his career in Dance with Bapuji's Permission, inspite of strict denial of Vanraj. ].

"Hii everyone." comes a sudden manly voice from the entrance gaining everyone's attention instantly.

"Arrey Dr Anuj... Aap ? Please Come inside...." greets Samar marching towards the Widely Smiling Anuj welcoming him warmly.

Anuj too greets Samar and heads inside the Shah House greeting the rest of the members present in Shah House warmly.

Hearing Anuj's voice all of a sudden while doing her work, Anupama instantly halts her work trying to register the voice keenly.

Her heart beat increased and sweat too forms on her forehead realising Anuj presence near her nervously.

"Anuj ? What is Anuj doing here ?" asked Anupama all to herself while closing her both eyes and trying to calm herself slowly yet nervously.

"Bhabhi ek kaam kariye you go out and set the table out. Bhaiyyia aur baaki sab aate hi hoge Morning Walk and Jogging se. Yaha ka baaki kaam main dekh lungi.." said Dolly gaining the attention of lost Anupama eyeing the time hastily.

While Anupama having an urge to see Anuj unknowingly nods her head in return and moves towards the dining table immediately.

Soon as she exits the kitchen and enters the dining area, her eyes brightens up and her lips too curved up into a wide smile witnessing Anuj happily chit chatting with her Son i.e with Samar freely.

"Arrey Mummy... Come.. see Dr Anuj has come. Devika Anuty has called him for Breakfast today." spoke up Samar as soon as his eyes caught up the sight of his mother standing near the dining table silently.

Anupama soon being panicked jerks up and her eyes started diverting their directions randomly feeling nervous.

And for Anuj, hearing Anupama's name, his eyes automatically catches the sight of his Lady Love.

His eyes shined brightly and his heart too started beating up fast.

And why not ? After all witnessing your Lady Love right infront of you with her wet hair half covered in a towel isn't less than a treat for Anuj. Adding a complementary treat to it to blow out Anuj, Anupama's 2 Wet Hair Strands rests on her both cheeks all draped in her simple Saree depicting her Morning Beauty perfectly.

Enjoying the Morning Beauty of His Lady Love Anuj's eyes soon caught the sight of Long Black Holy Thread called Mangalsutra adorned around her Neck shattering his dreams and bringing him back to the bitter reality instantly.

A lone un shed tears wells up in his eyes for a while realising the reality. But soon over coming his emotions, Anuj immediately wiped off his tears and successfully plastered his lips with a fake smile unwillingly.

"Mummy come na . Aap abhi bhi waha pe kyoun khadi ho ? [ why are you still standing there ? ]. Dr Anuj is waiting for you." spoke Samar again gaining Anupama's attention in no time who was still standing near the table all lost in her own world nervously.

Soon Anupama all scared steps one step ahead and then slowly moving ahead with slow steps, Anupama finally stands right infront of Anuj folding her both palms with her Saree Pallu in her between them greeting nervously.

"Namaste.." speaking in his manly voice and flashing the nervous smile on his lips too Anuj greets Anupama back.

"Naashte pe ? Per kya zaroorat thi itni subah subah kisi anjaan ko ghar bulane ki Devika ? Tune poocha Kyoun nhi mujhse ?" asks Baa soon as her ears registers Samar's words feeling uncomfortable eyeing Anuj.

"Maana tu din bhar yahi rehti hain Anupama ke Sasural main apna khudka Sasural chodke per iska yeh matlab nhi hain ki tu kisi ko bhi aane ko bolde humare ghar main." continues Baa but this time eyeing Devika and passing her most evil taunts as usual.

While Devika rolling her eyes not caring about Baa's taunts smiled back widely and moved towards the already angry Baa confusing Baa immensely.

"Arrey Baa.. aap fikar Kyoun karti hain ? [ why do you always worry ? ]. I have not called any stranger here. Abb Anuj mera Best Friend hain toh woh Anupama ka bhi kuch hua na ? Toh iss naate how can Anuj be a stranger haa ?" states Devika while placing her one hand around Baa's back shoulder on other side and one on her front shoulder the other side irritating Baa with her close hug sincerely.

"What rubbish are you talking ? Agr woh tera best friend hain toh woh Anupama ka best friend kaise hua ? Kuch bhi bolti hain apni baath manwane ke liye." frowns Baa yet again not able to understand Devika's words irritatedly.

Devika on the other hand giggled while teasing Baa and Anupama and Anuj both shook their heads at same time passing Devika their most unbelievable look in disbelief.

"Arrey meri Bhooli Baa.. Anuj mera Best Friend hain.. Anupama bhi meri Best Friend.. and Anuj ke liye main uski Best Friend hu.. aur Anuj Anupama ka Best Friend hain.. aur Anupama bhi Anuj ki Best Friend.. Toh iss naate hua na Anuj ek Ghar ka hi sadasya.. toh woh stranger kaise hosakta hain Baa ?"

"Matlab ?" asks Baa not able to unde Devika even now all confused.

While Samar and Paakhi understanding Devika widens their eyes and then shifting their wide opened eyes towards Anupama and Anuj both screamed aloud with their both palms on their face in shock Shaking Baa and the entire Shah House excitedly.

Whereas Anupama and Anuj
hearing the loud screams almost right in their ears jerked up breathing heavily.

Their breathes got heavier and their eyes popped out for almost a minute holding their chests all horrified.

An Hour Later

Breakfast time had arrived. Everyone had settled on their respective seats starting their breakfast. Vanraj and Toshu were back from their morning jog and so as Bapuji and Mam Ji as well from their morning walk.

Anuj was given the seat right infront of Anupama who sat beside Devika having her breakfast while chit chatting with Devika happily. Taking it as a wonderful opportunity Anuj kept staring his Anupama continuously and adored her beauty smiling widely.

"Wow Bhabhi ! I still can't believe that Anuj Ji is your Friend. Infact Best Friend. Aapne pehle kyoun nhi bataya ki you had a Boy Friend too.." speaks up Dolly while eating her breakfast and glaring Anupama excitedly.

"Haa Mummy.. Aap itne cool the apne time pe i didn't even know about it. I mean maine aapku jiss tarah dar dar ke rehte hue dekha hain abb tak i didn't expect ki aapka ek BF bhi hoga apne time pe.. but jo bhi ho it's Amazing Mummy." speaking in between her meals Paakhi too speaks up and cherishes the newly found fact of her mother happily.

While Anupama and Anuj feeling immense embarassed halts their food and blushed up hearing the word Boy Friend.

The word which seemed so causal for the kids of today's generation was actually a big matter for the persons like Anupama and Anuj. Hearing Boy Friend from her own Kids and Her Sister In Law that too infront of her Own Husband, Mother in Law and Father In Law wasn't an easy task for her.

Her breath hitched, sweat too formed on her forehead still trying to digest the word Boy Friend nervously.

While Anuj too on hearing the word Boy Friend after ages increased his breath as well. There was a time where everyone in his college days called him as Boy Friend of Anupama which always gave him a great feeling.

But today hearing himself as the Boy Friend of his Lady Love and that too from the kids of his Lady Love themselves developed severe goose bumps on his hands instantly.

In short Both Anuj and Anupama felt nervous and stole their glances from eachother all scared and tensed.

"Chi Chi... Pata nhi aur kya kya raaz se parde hatne wale hain. pehle hi uss raat ka raaz hi nhi khula ta ki abb iss Maharani ka dusra raaz khul gaya. Badi aayi Boy Friend wali.. Huh..." passing her another toxic taunt and gaining both Anuj's and Anupama's attention, Baa ends up her meals ans heads towards her own room angrily.

While Vanraj fisted his palm on the Fork He is holding and sat their all still glaring his meals furiously.

His eyes shined up with immense redness, His muscles too got tightened up watching both Anuj and Anupama sitting infront of eachother stealing glances from eachother forming the the most deadliest Volcano inside him second by second.
