Paakhi's Room

Soon as Anuj softly placed Anupama on her bed, Baa along with the entire Shah family barges inside the room hearing Anupama's scream breathing heavily.

"What happened ? Kya hua ? Anupama tu theek hain ......" Baa's words gets stuck in middle and her eyes wide opens seeing a new unfamiliar man deadly close to her daughter in law covering her with a quilt lovingly.

An annoyed expressions soon over took Baa and as a result her concerned expressions vanished in no time glaring the man disgustingly, while the rest present there stood there confused.

"Baa.... Sshhh ! Anupama just got panick attacks like yesterday again. Woh toh accha hua Anuj aagaya time pe and saved Anu from hurting herself." explained Devika soon as her sharp and experienced eyes caught the sight of Baa's disgusting looks gaining everyone's attention instantly.

"Who is He Devika ? And why is he in Anupama's room ? Vanraj ko hona chahiye na yaha [ and what is he doing here when Vanraj should be here with Anupama. ]." offending the presence of the unfamiliar man, Baa yet again glared and passed a disgusting look annoyingly.

While Devika being well aware of Baa's narrow minded thoughts rolled her eyes sighing expectedly.

"Baa he is Anuj Kapadia, Dr Anuj Kapadia. The well known Phycologist of India. I hope Bapuji has informed you all about my suggestion for getting Anu checked by a Phycologist." continued Devika once again clearing all the dirty thoughts of Baa and others confidently.

"Haa but what is the need of consulting a Phycologist ? Thaki hui hogi Anupama isiliye maybe she is behaving like this. Waise bhi kaunsa naya hain Anupama ka aise deewane jaisa behave karna [ she might be tired that's why maybe she is behaving like this and moreover it's not at all a new thing to see Anupama behaving like a mad today. ]." offending once again to get Anupama checked by a male, Baa straight away insults Anupama and her traumatic behaviour shamelessly.

"Harr roz toh woh aisa hi behave karti hain when Vanraj scolds her on her faults.." Baa continued ahead and crossed all her limits of insulting her daughter in law infront of a mere stranger angrily.

The woman who cried worrying about her daughter in law few hours ago was now spitting a fire for her unable to handle her narrow minded thoughts furiously.

"Heeyy You who ever you are. Please get out of our house right now. I don't want my daughter in law to get treated by any random stranger who just tries to get closer to a woman." spat Baa to Anuj not really caring about her words or sentences angrily.

Anuj on the other hand not able to hear any other word fisted his both palms and storms out of the room angrily.

"Leela... Chup.. Are you even in your senses ? What nonsense are you speaking about Anupama infront of everyone. And rahi baath Anupama ko Phycologist ko dhikhane ki toh it's my decision to get her checked by Anuj and that's final." offending his wife infront of everyone present there, Bapuji finally declared his final decision about Anupama's check up firmly.

While Baa helplessly and angrily left the room but not before glaring Bapuji furiously.

"Thank You Bapuji ! Thank You for understanding my intentions and Anupama." stepping ahead with all her gratitude and love towards Bapuji, Devika thanked him emotionally.

While Bapuji nodding his head in complete agreement left the room too but not before glancing his lovely daughter admiringly yet emotionally.

Hall

Storming out of the Paakhi's room, Baa in no time like a wind moves towards already angry Anuj standing right behind him furiously.

"Sunoo.. Dr Kapadia Wapadia jo bhi is your name is, you can go. We don't want anyone to get treated by you in our house. So you can go. Thank You.", said by Baa sternly while folding her both palms in Namaste gesture not caring about her husband's own words ignorantly.

"But Baa please stop it. Mummy needs a medical help and None of us kmow what's going on in her mind and in such case only a Physiological can help us " speaks Toshu stopping Baa for the very first time all worried for his mother genuinely.

"Sorry Dr Kapadia for the inconvenience. Baa is just a bit disturbed due the matter of getting Mummy checked by a Phycologist and you being a well experienced Dr very well know some people just over reacts when they hear about Phycologist. And Baa is one of them. I'm really sorry from her side." apologizing from his Baa's side, Toshu steps ahead requesting Anuj please fully.

Where as Baa stood there all shocked staring her eldest grandson going against her for the very first time in no time.

"I request you to treat my mother and find the actual reason behind her state as soon as possible." continued Toshu further staring back at Anuj genuinely worried for his mother emotionally.

Anuj on the other hand calming himself and releasing his angry nerves nods his head positively and marches towards the exit of the Shah House talking to his junior firmly.

1 Hour Later

An hour has passed and now the kids were all settled in their respective rooms restlessly all worried for their mother even now.

While Baa sat in hall on her throne like swing swinging angrily whereas Bapuji settled himself on the sofa in living area reading news paper or rather say trying to divert his mind restlessly.

And Devika on the other hand sat in Paakhi's room beside unconscious Anupama caressing her hair emotionally all lost.

"Devi....." calls Anuj entering Paakhi's room with few stuffs in his hands gaining Devika's attention instantly.

"Devika woh I have brought some of our stuffs related to our college days which made our those days really memorable. I thought to bring back Anupama to present we at first need to cheer her up then only we can help her out to heal her up." said Anuj while placing the same stuffs on the center table sharing his idea maturely.

"Haa ok.. whatever you say Anuj. Waise bhi more than you there's no one who knows Anu very well." said Devika while agreeing and passing her meaningful glance towards Anuj smiling emotionally.

Anuj whereas stared back at Devika and then at unconscious Anupama for a while awkwardly.

"It's Ok Anuj. No need to be awkward. Don't worry I won't talk about all these infront of Anu. Infact we both should be really careful about all these. I know Anu too loved you back in our college days but uss Anu main aur aaj ki Anu main bahut difference hain."

"She is married now and kids of 3 kids and soon going to be MIL too, so her priorities along with her tastes too changed. She do cares for you even now and maybe somewhere loves you too but the environment she stayed in till now for last 25 years might have blurred her love for you and wakening those feelings again for you might create awkwardness for her." said Devika assuring her another best friend worrying for her another best friend warmly.

Anuj in return nods his head positively and wipes his soon to be falling tears controlling himself immediately.

"Pppaaannnii..." comes a faint weak voice of semi concious Anupama gaining an instant attention of both Anuj and Devika in no time.

Both Anuj and Devika ran towards Anupama in nano seconds all worried helping Anupama to sit properly.

"Anu... Tu theek hain ? [ are you fine ? ]." asked Devika while handing Anupama the glass of water worriedly.

Anupama whereas in return nodded her head assuringly and drank the water in nano seconds while closing her eyes and holding her glass tightly feeling thirsty badly.

"Waise Anu... See who came.. Anuj aaya hain [ Anuj has come. ]." speaks Devika sending shivers down Anupama's spine instantly.

Her eyes opened wide and then slowly travelled her eyes towards the already care filled eyes staring her back continuously.

Shiver yet again travelled down Anupama's spine rising an immediate heart beat and an unknown restless feelings inside her heart restlessly.

"Wohh actually I was in Ahemdabad for a Medical Meeting held today. Waapas jaaraha Delhi toh socha Devika se millu. I told her ki let's meet somewhere else but she didn't listen to me and forced me to come here. Toh bas aagaya main yaha Anu TUMHARE paas.." defending himself instantly clearing Anupama's awkwardness, Anuj ended his words unknown to his own last words all lost.

Anupama where as smiled back slightly in response and then averted her awkward filled eyes towards the glass in her hand when her eyes caught the sight of few photos kept on the table turning her all confused.

While Devika and Anuj frowns in confusion witnessing Anupama's confused face but then soon followed her eyes direction all puzzled.

"Devika... Woh photos kya kiske hain ? [whose photos are those ? ]." asked Anupama not able to see the photos clearly all puzzled.

While Devika and Anuj glanced at eachother and then gestured through their eyes to eachother secretly.

"Woh Anu nothing. Woh bas Anuj was going back to Delhi right toh when he went to his parent's home he found some of our college pictures." answered Devika while moving towards the center table and then coming back towards Anupama yet again with the same photos in her hands smiling widely.

"Dekhna kitne mast photos hain yaar [ see what a amazing photos. ]. Aisa lagta hain yeh photos dekhkar ki kash hum phir se College ke days main chale jaate hain na Anuj ?" asked Devika ahead while passing the photos to Anupama and glancing Anuj for the answer excitedly.

Anupama's eyes soon fell on the clear images of their college times grabbing them while smiling emotionally.

"Haa Devika you are right. Whenever I'm tired due to my hectic Schedules and counselling sessions mera bhi dil bahut bolta hain ki hum kash unn purane dino main wapas jaasakte [ yes Devika, my heart too sometimes craves to go back to our old college days again. ]. Those were the beautiful days of our lives." responding to Devika with same excitement and enthusiasm, Anuj's eyes at the same time analyses Anupama's each and every expressions and her behaviour keenly.

While Anupama not paying any attention to her 2 best friend's words stared the each and every single photos keenly while caressing them lovingly.

A slight smile too soon crepts on her lips recollecting every single moments related to the photos in her hands emotionally.

"Devika... See do you remember this photo? This is the photo of our annual college day na ? Jaha Anuj was obsessed with my wig ?" laughed Anupama while turning a group photo of their three towards Anuj and Devika pointing towards Anuj's expressions smiling widely.

Whereas Anuj and Devika smiled back widely and sighs relax fully thanking God for granting them victory in their attempt glancing Anupama's happy face admiringly.

But soon their smiling faces yet again turned sad and their eyes once again filled with sad tears witnessing Anupama's eyes turning wet glancing her Mehendi painfully.
