“Yes, Miss Maanic, I have prepared everything!” he said confidently. “And what about you? You know it’s the top 16 round, and you did well in your prelim round! But you still have to do your best in this.”

Yes, my prelim round had been good! But now I was in the top 16, and Rinex was going to have his second prelim round today. Because of our age difference, we had different rounds.Let me introduce him

He is Rishi. Rishi Mehra! A 26-year-old law intern! In the dance world, he’s a hip-hop dancer and a Bollywood freak. His stage name is Rinex! The story behind his name is amusing, but right now, I was running late—very late!

“And now, let the battle begin!!” we heard a computerized voice echo through the hall, announcing the start of the top 16 round.The first participant stepped onto the ground! Everyone sat with their hearts in their throats because the first dancer was ‘The Rhythm Duelist,’ one of the best dancers in this genre. Beating him in a battle was something tense to impossible.

Next came ‘Beat Angelina,’ one of the toughest competitors accompanying ‘The Rhythm Duelist’ in this battle. They were like the north and south poles of the battleground; she was hyped up, while he was all about calm.Soon, their battle came to an end.

And then ‘Weave Dizz’ took the stage. She is a pop dancer, and here comes ‘Revonezz’ to add the charm to her performance; they were setting the stage on fire!Just as their fire was fizzling out, ‘Roof’ entered with her competitors: ‘Nayloz,’ ‘Xinevir,’ and ‘Groove Beat.’ They all came from different backgrounds, yet they performed as if they were one soul in four individuals!

After that, there was a group called ‘Flow Fusion,’ and to accompany them, another group named ‘Sync Squad’ joined in. Just like their name, they danced in complete sync, with three individuals in each group!

As their performance came to a close, I felt my heart racing. I stood up from my place and prepared for my battle, waiting for my partner. I took a deep breath and then moved toward the stage as everyone cheered.

I caught the beat and started moving accordingly, and there came my aide, ‘The Raw Cipher.’We both danced rhythmically together. Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind: Where were my family? I looked around the ground but didn’t see them.

When I turn around for a move I found my brother seated up there!
Yes Mr. Joint Man was sitting on the second floor. After another spin, I found all my family seated up there, just without my father, Mr. Gwalvanshi, looking at me with sparkles in their eyes! My brother was cheering for me!After my performance came to an end, we had to wait for the announcement of the winner.

The one who received the most votes from the audience would win. After a few tense minutes, the results would be announced, and I was already tired!Rinex came running to me and hugged me tightly.“Leave me alone, you hulk! I can’t breathe!” I said, hitting his shoulder.“You did so well!” he said excitedly, handing me my water bottle.

Now we both sat in our spots, waiting for the results.“Here we go with the results! Your waiting is over; hold your heart tightly,” we heard the computerized voice say.My heart raced in my throat as I wondered what the results would be!
