She falls and scrapes her knee so harshly that she lost almost all her skin? Time will heal and scars are character building. Her mother and father die in a freak accident that leaves her orphaned and her little sister a werewolf? She'll raise Sabine as well as a girl her age can. Sabine has to transfer to Hogwarts from Beauxbatons to keep her secret hidden? She'll follow along, working at the Ministry of Magic's Auror department instead of The Bureau de la Justice Magique. 

Though the world scraped away at her soul, bit by bit, Soleil Du Lac persevered, against all odds. For she was stronger than she seemed, then and now.

Her power in one field does not reflect in another, however. Because no matter the setting, no matter the words, her Ministry assigned partner, Theseus Scamander, grinds every gear in her body. The worst part is that her sister—lovely Sabine—has found herself entangled in Grindelwald's scheme, along with Newt Scamander; since the world hates Sol enough to make two of them. Now the two must battle against both each other and the odds to try to save their families—and the wizarding world as they know it.
