(Eden's POV)

It's not that interesting being the villain... isn't it?

I was currently walking towards the meeting room because Jonathan wanted to tell us the next plan of attack against the other guilds. Honestly, I was mostly tempted to skip out on it but he insisted we listen to his 'master plan'. I didn't exactly like the last attack as we attacked my ex's guild, Divinus Magia.

As much as I didn't want to, I had to make it seem like I was the bad guy. To make it a bit easier for the opposing guild, I only imagined my attacks, meaning nothing was actually destroyed, it was fake. I didn't want my ex to hate me more than he already did... I didn't want to cause harm to them, or anyone really to be honest, this life just came to me when I drank that one potion. Now my ex doesn't even want to see me, listen to me, or even let me explain...

Ever since that day...

"Babe please-"

"DON'T YOU 'BABE' ME! I- we're s-supposed to freaking t-trust each other!"

"Please, just let-"

"H-How could you?! You... you k-killed innocent people!"

"But-"

"N-NO! I thought I could trust you! Ins-Instead, I'm dating a m-murderer! So, to make things easier, w-we're breaking up... G-Goodbye Eden, hope you enjoy your new life..." And with that, he ran away, crying his heart out that the man he loved... was corrupted. Little did they know, Eden was also crying his heart out till he passed out on his bed, losing the love of his life because of one dumb mistake...

Eden took a healing potion from a random wizard as he got into a fight with a few monsters, but the potion was switched with a potion that made Eden become corrupted for a short amount of time, it only lasted a week but in that week... Eden did unspeakable things behind his boyfriend's back.

He killed a lot of innocent people and non-innocent people, trashed around the town, and committed arson a few times. Sooner or later, his boyfriend realised this attitude adjustment, Eden even lashed out at him. They broke up that night and Eden hasn't been the same... All he does in his free time is sit in his room, thinking about what would have happened if he never bought that healing potion. It would have been better for his boyfriend to find him, scars littering his body while getting a lecture about random fights with monsters. Then for a simple potion to ruin the rest of his life...

I just... I wish that I hadn't taken that stupid potion... What was that wizard's name? Pat was it? If I ever find him, then I will make sure I get my hands on him to teach him a lesson about messing with my life...

On my way to the meeting room, I just stopped dead in my tracks and thought for a second. 'You know what? Screw this meeting! I'm going to go and find my love, to try and apologise or explain what happened on that fateful day 20 years ago... Hopefully earning his trust and leaving the garden at the same time...'

(Mario's POV)

To think... I have been in Divinus Magia for 13 years now... Today would actually be my son's 20th birthday. My guild still doesn't know about me having a son... they don't need to know nor do they need to know that the father... was Eden...

Yes, the guild leader of the Garden, Eden, is my ex-boyfriend. Before the whole garden and evil shenanigan, he was a kind, sweet, and calm man who was very lovable, I loved him with all my heart. But then one day, I find out he's murdered innocent people, burnts a few buildings, and practically terrorised Atlantide. I couldn't stay with him... I broke up with him because he's done terrible things and I thought we were supposed to trust each other.

"Mario?"

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my name being called out so I turned my head towards my guild, who was staring at me with concern? It kinda confused me on why they were looking at me with concerned and confused looks so I just upright asked them. "Why are you all staring at me?"

"Did you not realise you're crying, big bro?" My eyes went wide when Kit said that, was I really crying? Just to see if it was true, I reached up to touch my cheek and surely enough, they were wet from streams of water still flowing. Didn't think I was that emotional from the break up to be honest...

"Wait what break-up? Did you have an ex or something?" Did I say that out loud? Oh boy...

"I- I did... before I joined the dark guild..." I admitted quietly, kind of nervous as this was my first time sharing my past before the dark guild. I shifted uncomfortably on my seat, not really sure whether to share with them or not.

"What was it like?" As soon as David asked that, the emotions, the feelings and the memories from that moment all came flooding back to me. Meeting Eden and Michael, the shadow bean doesn't even remember me, for the first time as children, our first date, our first argument, our plans for the future... even the break-up came back.

"It was nice at first... he was sweet, lovable, kind and, I loved him... but then... s-something changed... h-he-" I trailed off, not really wanting to continue and hoping someone won't ask about it. But to my luck, someone had to ask...

"He what? What happened?" I shifted uncomfortably again, tears gaining in my eyes as the memories from before and after the break-up happened. I could feel my guild members staring at me, their eyes bearing into my skin as I looked to the ground, trying to handle my emotions which wasn't exactly easy.

"Mario, could you tell us-"

I didn't even let them finish their sentence as I ran out the door, unable to hold in my emotions anymore, crying as I ran towards the garden. Hearing footsteps and shouting behind me, I began to run faster to the garden but I ended up crashing into someone. They wrapped their arm around me to keep me from falling, I was subconsciously crying into their chest but I froze up when I heard the voice from the one person I didn't want to see. "Mario? Why are you crying?"

Eden was the last person that I wanted to see... not after what he did 20 years ago and what he's done recently. Getting out of his grip, I pushed him away and back up further away from him. "I-I don't want to see y-you Eden..."

"EDEN! You have some nerve coming here!" I heard Ritchie yelling from behind me, then all of a sudden, my guild was around me, Ritchie and Brandon in front of us. Kit walked up to me and hugged me, seeing as I still had tears in my eyes and I hugged kit back. I looked up to see him giving me an apologetic smile but I ignore it as I give him a frown in return. "Mario, please... Let me explain at least." Eden begged, but I still wasn't taking it.

"I-I d-don't want to h-hear it! Y-You chose t-to do those things!!" I yelled at him, stray tears falling from my face even quicker than before as I hid my face in Kit's shoulder.

"Eden... What did you do?" Lucas asked with a stone cold voice, the overprotective mother side coming out of him in the feistiest way possible. That's probably the coldest voice I have ever heard come out from his mouth, and we barely talked to be honest. Before Eden could even get a word out to start explaining, a random portal appeared on the floor, sucking all of my guild, and unluckily Eden, into it, sending us to some random dimension perhaps.

(SNO Mario's POV)

"Why are you here in Packhaven again?" I asked, looking up to the person who I was currently having cuddles with. We were sitting outside of my house, on the deck. I was leaning against their chest, in between their legs while they had their arms wrapped around my waist. Currently, it was just a chill day for the pack so I was watching them run around, playing a game of tag. Then suddenly, Devin the incubus, the devil's son and my boyfriend, decided to come and randomly visit me in Packhaven.

"Am I not allowed to visit you?" Devin said in a fake mocked voice, smiling down at me. I just kissed his cheekbone in return, smiling back at him. "Well, a little warning would have been good. But it's fine. Michael did let you come here this time, right?" I asked, curious but gently. I did warn the incubus about warning his father before he came and paid a visit. He looked at me with a sheepish look before looking away, this told me everything I needed to know.

"Ummm, I may have forgotten?" He said nervously like I was about to scold him. As I opened my mouth, a giant explosion happened near the front gate, making everyone turn their heads towards the gate. I got off of Devin's lap, much to his disliking, and walked over to where all of the others were standing. "Alright, who's there?" I push in front of my pack members, eventually making it in front where I see a bunch of different people wearing weird clothing. Only one of them looked familiar to me; a man with black hair, a bandana and matching eyes as me, which were filled with tears. I know I normally have red, but I wear contacts to try and forget my parents as I thought I would never see them again.

"Mario please..."

"N-NO! I S-SAID NO!"

I froze in my spot.

Matching eyes, kinda similar voice, same name as my mother... he has to be! "M-Mom...?" I whisper, loud enough for everyone to hear me. 'Mario' whipped his head around and looked at me confused. "Who a-are you?"

"The name's Mario, but I only have that name so I can remember my mother..." Now my pack was shocked, hearing this as the first time I have ever shared anything from my past before being a werewolf. Bandana man looked at me, shocked, confused and curious. "W-What's your r-real name?!" He asked hopefully, hoping that he knew who I was. I was really hoping that this was who I thought it was.

"My name's Athanatos... M-Mom..." I smiled brightly, tears slowly forming in my eyes as I spread my arms out for a hug. He froze, more tears coming out of his wide eyes before he raced over to me, tackling me into a big hug that I gladly accepted. Tears were rushing down our faces like freakin waterfalls. "F-Fluff, i-it's b-been too long..." Mom whispers, pulling away from the hug with the biggest smile on his face, one that I easily return. "It's been 16 years Mom, today's my birthday."

I could tell that everyone in the area around us, my pack and Mom's friends were completely confused by everything we just said. Except, the weirdest thing was one of my mom's friend's reaction. He had brown and red-tipped hair like me, black and red clothing, and tears that looked to be forming over his glossy wide eyes. "M-Mario?" "Mom, who's that?" I asked curiously, why he was reacting like Mom kinda?

Mom sighed, making me a little nervous. "Athanatos... Meet Eden, your f-father..." My brain shut down, this was the person who left me and mom alone. He left mom in a depressed state and I, a freakin child, had to help him. Then it became worse when I got sucked through a portal then grew wolf ears and a tail! I growl, hugging mom tight again. "You. You left mom in a depressed state, you asshole!"

"Athanatos, stop. I'm the one who broke up with him..." I hear Mom speak up, suddenly glaring at this 'Eden' fellow who was tearing up even more.

"CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS FAMILY FEUD ALREADY?!"

"SHUT UP!"
"DAVID SHUT UP!" That shut him up.

"30 years ago, me, Michael and Mario were all childhood friends. Mario and I got together during highschool, then apparently, I accidentally got him pregnant without me knowing because that day..."

"We broke up... I wasn't going to date a freaking MURDERER Eden! You killed SO many innocent people and ruined other people's lives! You even burnt a few buildings!! What in the actual hell made you change?!" Mom yelled, tears flowing like an overflowing dam. I hugged him as a support. "I thought we were supposed to trust each other!"

(FTO Mario's POV)

"Yes I know, and I regret everything I did back then... I regret the murders, I regret the arson, I regret letting you slip out of my life. It's been hard these last 20 years without you... Can you at least let me explain what happened?"

"No-"

"Mom, please let him explain." Athanatos asked me, looking at me like he was begging to know this answer. I didn't want to hear it but if it made my son happy, then so be it. "Fine, but there isn't a 100% that I'll forgive you..."

He smiled gratefully, nodding at 'our' son before he looked back at me. "I probably should've taken the scolding to be honest... A week before the break-up, I went on a mission to kill a certain monster for a potion a friend of mine was creating. During that mission, I did manage to kill it but I ended up with a few scratches and a deep gash on my shoulder. Figuring that I could simply go to a potion shop and get a healing potion, I limped over and bought it. It taste weirder than a normal potion, and it wasn't. That healing potion had something off about it as a demon started talking to me. It said 'This is what will happen if you don't do this...'"

Eden breathed in before continuing. "It showed visions of you dead in many ways; hanging, stabbed, shot, drowned, and more. I was terrified of that happening, so I listened to what it said to me. That's why I did all those things, so I wouldn't lose you... I regret all of those and I want to make up for it. I'm leaving the Garden, I'm leaving my evil life, and I want to make up for it. Please, give me a second chance..." Once Eden was finished, some people around us, including Athanatos and Eden himself, were crying or trying not to cry. I was even crying. I didn't let him explain, I just dumped him...

Athanatos suddenly runs up and hugs Eden, tears still spilling from his face. "I'm sorry for calling you an asshole! I didn't know the story! I'm sorry Dad!" Eden smiled softly, wrapping his arms around our son and hugging him tightly. "It's fine, son." Eden then looks up at me as he lifts an arm up, inviting me into the hug. Maybe he does deserve a second chance... I smiled slightly, running over and hugging both of them tightly as well. "I'm sorry too. I never let you explain." I whispered, burying my head in Eden's chest. I could feel him chuckle before I felt a finger under my chin, lifting it up so that me and Eden were locked into each other's eyes. "I forgive you, and I'm sorry as well for not saying sooner." We lean in and share a slow and long kiss that we had both been longing for. We hear cheering in the background from both my guild and Athanatos's pack. I should probably ask him how he's a werewolf but that didn't matter right now.

As long as I had my family back together, that was all that mattered...
