Ah! What a peaceful day in the life of the demigods in this calm camp known as Camp Oasis or the Camp of Demeter! All the campers were out enjoying their time in the camp, all doing different activities with one another. Everyone was happy and cheerful! Well- Everyone WAS cheerful at the beginning of the day -.- 

 Mario, the lightning demigod and son of Zeus, was sitting under a tree, wet and cold, in the rain, near the beach and far away from the other campers, especially his ex-girlfriend... Yes, you read that right. EX-girlfriend. The lightning bean was going to meet up with Kay for a date that they had planned the week before but instead of Kay being there, no one was. So, for the rest of the day, he went in search for his girlfriend to see why she never turned up for her date. 

Oh he found out why, and he did not like the reason one bit.Wandering through camp, his body froze and his eyes widened like saucepans when he finally found Kay. Normally he would be happy to see her and run straight into her awaiting arms. Except he was not happy nor were her arms awaiting for his arrival. Instead, they were slung around another male's neck as they kissed, Kay had a bright smile on her face as they continued to passionately make out at the front gate of camp, unaware that her boyfriend was currently standing behind her and watching the entire moment unfold before his eyes. 

 "K-Kay...?" The son of Zeus whispered in a barely inaudible voice, a few salty tears appearing in his eyes as he felt his heart break. The snake lady visibly jumped when there was a sudden voice behind her, biting the other's tongue before looking to see who was behind her. Seeing her crying boyfriend behind her, Kay immediately got up and attempted to hug the upset son of Zeus but Mario was having non of that... He straight up zapped Kay with a lightning bolt. "Y-You... You c-cheater!! I N-NEVER WANNA SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN!! 

 Kay groaned in pain as she watched her now ex-boyfriend run away from her. "M-Mario!!" She called out but she was too late, he was already out of earshot. The male that she was previously kissing before walked up to her and smirked at her as she sat on the ground. "Well~ Never told me you had a boyfriend! Now I know how it feels to kiss a hoe! Good luck getting that one back~" And with that, he walked away, leaving the camp counsellor to sit on the ground alone and contemplate on her currently life decisions. Now determination was set in her mind; Get her boyfriend back.

-=-TO MARIO BEAN-=-

Mario ran. He ran through camp at lightning speed, no pun intended, past all the campers who were minding their own business, now watching concerned as disappeared into the forest. Suddenly, raindrops started to fall from the grey-louded sky as it started to rain heavily down on the campers who rushed to get to shelter. As everyone was finally sheltered by the rain in the cafeteria, a certain camper noticed that a certain lightning bug wasn't there. "Hey, where's Mario?!" The son of Aphrodite called out, looking around frantically for his cru-friend. 

 Kaykrae suddenly appeared through the doors, soaking wet as she called to everyone there. "Has anyone seen Mario?!" She shouted worriedly, wondering where her boyfriend had run off to. Even though she's the reason he was currently out in the rain in the first place. 

 "He was running towards the forest when we last saw him, which was about 20 minutes ago. Except, no offense Miss Kay, but I don't think you should be the one to find him." Brandeen suddenly stepped forward, crossing his arms and silently glaring at his camp counsellor. Kaykrae gasped offensively, glaring right back at the son of Ares who didn't budge at all. "Excuse me?! I'm his GIRLFRIEND! Of course I would be the one to find him!! Hehe, Kaykrae be acting like a Karen right about now- 

 "Well~ I was taking a nice stroll around camp when I saw you talking on the bench with someone, so I assumed it was Mario. Carrying on my stroll, I found out it wasn't Mario, and you were flirting with him." Gasps and glares were aimed towards the camp counsellor who was glaring harshly at the son of Ares, who was STILL not moving. "LIAR! I did no such thing because I am a LOYAL woman! How dare you accuse me of this!!" Brandeen stepped forward, making Kaykrae step back out of reflex and nerve. 

 "Well that's funny for you~ Because the person who you were flirting with... was my freaking cousin. He was telling me ALL about your special get-together, so I know~"

Gasps could be heard around the camp, despicable looks were thrown at Kay as everyone near her backed away slowly. "H-hey! Why's everyone backing away! Brandeen is LYING!! Why would I EVER want to hurt Herald?" Kaykrae continued to glare at the son of Ares without realising that she just made the biggest mistake of her life, causing everyone to glare at her. "*Oh?~ So MARIO isn't your boyfriend? So you ARE the reason he's out and stuck in the rain right now?" Bryan stepped up, glaring harshly at his camp counsellor who decided it was a good idea to hurt the lightning bean. Kay froze. "Y-Yeah? M-Mario! T-That's what I said!! You all are deaf and trying to make ME sound like the bad person here!! I could EASILY have you all kicked out of camp right now for this!!" 

 "Brandeen, Bryan. You guys go and find Mario for us. We'll take care of Ms. Kayren over here." Xylo said towards the other two demigods, smirking in hatred when he mentioned Kay. The son of Ares and the son of Aphrodite both looked at each other before nodding and running out into the rain to find their lightning bug. Xylo nodded to himself before turning towards a nervous yet still stern Kaykrae. "Alright Kaykrae~ We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Either you tell us EXACTLY what happened between you and this Herald, or you can have around 20 unpleased campers at your neck for hurting a camp bean! Now, which one do you choose?~" Kaykrae gulped, looking at the other angry campers. 'This is not gonna end good...'

~~~WITH ZE BEANNNN~~~

Mario ran like his life depended on it, which it didn't but he needed some sort of adrenaline to help him run away from his camp counsellor. He couldn't believe that she would cheat on him like that! He thought that what they had was unbreakable, but Kay snapped it like it was just a small twig. One snap was all it took to break this lightning bug's heart. Mario didn't care about the rain hitting him and his toga, he didn't care about where he was going, he didn't even care about anything at that point. All he cared about was running. Running away from the one thing in this world that he thought he loved. The one thing that made him feel like he was actually loved at this camp. But it was all gone in a matter of minutes. 

 'Idiot idiot idiot! God I'm useless! I couldn't even be good enough for my own freaking girlfriend...' Mario's thoughts ran through his head just as fast as he ran through the forest, completely unaware of his surroundings. After a few more minutes of running, Mario's legs decided to quit on him, causing him to collapse onto the wet sand. Apparently, the son of Zeus had run all the way from the entrance of camp to the back of cap where a beach laid. Sometime while he was running it had stopped raining, now clouds loomed over the demigods. 

 Except Mario couldn't care less about his surroundings, his mind pounded too loud and uneven for him to even take in the noises of the crashing waves or rustling leaves. His heart was too broken for him to feel the pain in his legs for when he collapsed. The raven-haired male just curled up against the closest tree and let the heart-break sink in.

The demigod's vision blurred as a mix between raindrops and tears rained down his face, glazing over his heart-broken eyes. 'W-What did I do wrong? Why doesn't she love me anymore? What did I do to deserve this...' Mario thought to himself as he curled up on the beach against a tree in the pouring rain, ignoring the faint footsteps he managed to hear past the rain.

~~~TO ZE OTHER MEOPLE~~~

"So where do you think he went?" Bryan asked the son of Ares as they walked through the forest, the son of Aphrodite was using his wings as umbrellas because he knows Brandeen gets sick and weak in the rain (Y'know? Because his powers are fire related). "I don't really know, but knowing him, he just ran straight which leads to the beach." The hot-head and living cupid kept walking through the dense jungle that surrounded the camp, eventually reaching the end where both of of them looked in awe. It was a stunning view of the sea and skyline... if it wasn't raining and there wasn't a freaking body, curled against a tree near the sand. 

"Mario!" 

The two demigods yelled, Bryan retracted his wings and the both of them ran towards the shaking lightning bug. Brandeen quickly picked up the younger demigod and turned his body temperature up so that they could get warmed up, even though it was still raining. Mario subconsciously snuggled into the warmth of the son of Ares, smiling slightly before falling asleep as the adrenaline wore off his smaller body. Normally Brandeen wouldn't be this nice to any of the other campers, but he has a little crush on the thunder demigod~ (Inserts Lenny face). "We gotta get him to the infirmary, he's gonna get sick from the rain." Bryan nodded and flew ahead of the others so he could prepare a bed for Mario in the infirmary. 

 ~~~AT THE INFIRMARY~~~

"Ugh..." Mario groaned out, his eyes slowly opening but quickly shutting when bright lights invade his vision. Slowly once again, he opens them again and sees that he's now in the infirmary. When did he get here? Last thing he remembers was being against a tree. "W-When-"

"We brought you here."

The son of Zeus jumped slightly at the sudden voice beside him, he looked over and was a bit surprised to see both Bryan and Brandeen in the room with him. Bryan was on the chair beside the bed while Brandeen was sitting on the edge of the bed itself, both with relieved faces. Before Mario could say a word to ask what the hell happened that caused him to even be in the infirmary, a certain Kayren appeared out of nowhere! "Mario?! Mario! I was SO worried when you suddenly ran into the rain by yourself! Never do that again!" She yelled in a dramatic worried tone, running up to the upset and angry demigods before throwing herself onto the bed. Suddenly she didn't something that no one was expecting her to do. She kissed Mario, and Mario was having none of that.

"MPH!" Mario gasped when he was suddenly kissed, immediately shoving his ex off of him and onto the ground. "G-Get away from me!!" "But Mario! Am I not allowed to kiss my own boyfriend anymore?! D-Do you not love me anymore?~" Kaykrae said with a veryyyy fake upset voice, holding her hand over her heart as fake tears grew in her eyes to add to the acting. Except she's going against a literal demon and a child of love so~ GOOD LUCK!

The son of Ares had had enough of this camp counsellor's bullsh*t, walked up to the now nervous snake lady... and b*tch slapped her. "Listen here, Kaykrae. You are the reason he's in here, you're the one who doesn't love him, and you're the one who cheated. Now, I suggest you stay the f*ck away from him unless you want me to send you to hell myself. Remember, I'm the son of Ares, b*tch." Kay slowly backed away, huffing as she ran out the infirmary. "You better stay out!!" Bryan called after her, smirking as they successfully managed to scare the big bad Kaykrae away!

Mario smiled at the two. 'Feels nice to have people who actually care about me... Maybe Kay wasn't my soulmate...'

A/N: I DID IT!! ANOTHER REQUEST COMPLETE!! FOR ONCE IN MY GOD DAMM LIFE IM ACTUALLY IN A WRITING MOOD!! :D. As you all can tell, uploads are pretty slow xD. But I have learnt not to care when I upload! As long as I enjoyed writing it, anytime would be worth it! If I don't enjoy writing it, then what's the point in writing something in the first place? This is a HOBBY, not a freakin school essay -w-. Anywaysss, I might put Skyview on hold until I can think of sh*t to write xD. Anways ENjoyyy!!
