A/N: Hehe, technically I should be writing some of the requests that I have written down, but I couldn't help but write this adorable thing OwO. It is FairyTail Origins Season 5 Monti x Jericho! Ever since I watched their interaction and Monti being oblivious to Jericho asking him on a date, I just had to write this! And I love itttt! This might be my new favourite ship uwu, even though I'm torn between Season 4 and 5 ships ;-; Anywayyyyyys, enjoy!!

(No One's POV)

"Alright Montavious, I have a request for you~" A certain demon said with a smirk. Currently, this dark guild known as Devil's tongue had just concluded another boring meeting and as everyone left, only two people remained behind; the guild leader, Jupiter, and a red-haired innocent bean person, Montavious or preferably Monti. The guild member looked at the master with a nervous look, he's never been specifically requested like this before, but Jupiter could read him like a book. "Don't worry, you're not in trouble kid. I just have a small job I would like you to do, and you seem perfect for it." 

 Monti let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding, a sigh of relief was released. "Oh ok. So, what's the request, Master Jupiter?" He asked as he tilted his head, curious on what this 'small' job was and why he was specifically chosen for it. Jupiter's smirk grew wider at the sight of the confused bean, this plan was perfect. He chose Monti to 'take down' a certain guild and since the red head is basically a bean, he's really good with getting close to people, making it even easier to infiltrate a guild. "Please, refer to me as either Leader or Jupiter, Master sounds too 'upfront' or 'professional'. As for your job, I need you to infiltrate a certain guild. Are you familiar with the guild 'Grimshade' by any chance?" 

 "Oh! You mean Lampshade! I've actually met a few people there!" Monti exclaimed excitedly, he actually had a friend in that guild but he wasn't going to say that out loud, Jupiter could use it against him! 'This couldn't get any easier~' The possessed demon thought to himself as he watched his loyal guildmate rant about the people in Grimshade. He wasn't, however, gonna mention anything about him calling the guild Lampshade, because let's be honest, Monti's Monti. "So, when do I leave?" Monti asked impatiently, very estatic to meet up with the few friends he's made in his time in Atlantide. 

 "Right now if you want." Monti jumped and ran out the door. Jupiter turned around and smirked once more to himself before heading off to do his own thing. 'That fool doesn't know what he's just gotten himself into~'

~~At Lampsha- I mean Grimshade~~

Monti was skipping on his way towards the guild of assassins, happy that he was gonna meet up with his friend and their guildmates. It was actually quite strange. The first time he met up with this specific friend, he always had a feeling in his stomach like there was a flock of butterflies, flying around and trying to escape. Even when he was asked on a 'date' as they called it, he would get the exact same feeling, even if he didn't know what a date was. Monti enjoyed watching the stars and even cuddling with the celestial wizard, it was like they forgot about the world and he forgot he was in a dark guild. Yet, Monti didn't know he was in a dark guild, it was just a guild who took him in when he first arrived in Atlantide. Jupiter taught him the ways of his magic, which is still secret to him because the demon said it would be revealed to him soon in life, only when it is needed. His guild master also told him that the other guilds were dark guilds, meaning he was in the good guild while the others, like Grimshade, were bad. They didn't seem that bad to Monti-

Anyways, the red-haired bean's heart skipped a few beats when he saw his friend,Jericho the celestial wizard, walking out of the guild hall and turning the opposite way of where Monti was skipping. "OI! Jericho!" The green scarf-wearing male stopped and turned around, only to smile at the sight of his cheerful red-haired friend Monti. "Ay! Sup Monti! So what brings you here?" Jericho asked with curiosity, why was his friend here all of a sudden? Not that he was complaining anyways, he loved having Monti around as company! It was something about Monti's bubbly and cheerful personality that could brighten up anybody's day. 

 "Oh, am I not allowed to randomly visit ma friend?" Monti said jokingly, playfully pouting. "It's not that, I love having you around. It's just a little... random." Jericho smiled, chuckling at the childish aura practically radiating off of his friend's being. 

 "Good! Cause if you said No, then I would've come anyways!" Both of them laughed for a bit before walking back into the guildhall where Jericho had just come out. "So, what did you wanna do?" Monti asked the wizard, not really sure on what he was supposed to do. All Jupiter asked was to get close with the guild members of Grimshade, but other then that, he hadn't had any other real orders. "Why are you asking me? You're the one who suddenly showed up outside of my guild." 

 There it was again, the fuzzy feeling Monti feels whenever he's around the celestial wizard. His face felt like it was being held against an oven, he didn't know why he felt like this, but it was only with Jericho!Not with that cat bean, Eliore. Not with his guild mates or Guild master. Not even with his close friend Nix! Only Jericho, and they met literally 3 days ago! 

His heart pounded, his mind raced with all these thoughts about the things he liked about his friend, heck, his face was pink most of the times they spoke! But luckily, Jericho couldn't see it because Monti was always wearing a mask. "Oh, you didn't plan that far, did you? Well, wanna go for a walk with me around Atlantide? I know some really cool look-outs we could check out, and I would love to count this as another date with a cutie like you~" Jericho flirted like usual, but he actually meant what he said like how he said it. He likes Monti in more than a friend way, but he's not sure Monti feels the same... 

 And Like how Monti is Monti, he still had no idea what a date was but agreed anyways! "Sure! But before we walk, can you tell me what a date is?" Jericho mentally sighed, he should've expected that answer. "How about I just show you? It's too boring talking about it and it's much more fun to just experience it. So come on!" He took the masked man's hand and pulled him along the path, away from the assassin guild. Monti's heart was pounding faster than ever as one thought ran through his head while they walked. 

 'HE'S HOLDING MY HAND!'

Over the weeks that Monti had been spending with Jericho, he completely forgot about the reason that was was specifically hanging out with Grimshade in the first place. He forgot what the guild mark represents, he forgot about his job from the guild master Jupiter, and he forgot that he was supposed to take down Grimshade. Except, it felt like he was becoming more apart of Grimshade than he was in Devil's tongue. That dark guild wasn't much of a family, if it was to even begin with. They were evil, all had dark magic, and nobody really cared about anything except themselves or world domination. Grimshade on the other hand. Even if they don't show any of it, they were like a family in their own weird and twisted way, and that's what Monti loved about it. 

 Today, he was walking down to the guildhall to meet up with his... friend. It felt weird for him to say the word friend about Jericho, it was like his mind and heart were telling him that he wanted to be much more than that, but he didn't know what it was. Someone in the guild mentioned something about a feeling called Love but he didn't know what love was. 

 As he was about to go down the last few steps to the bottom floor, he stopped. His eyes widened like sauce pans as he froze in place like an ice mage had just frozen him into a popsicle. 'Hello Monti~ Remember, I want you to tear this little guild apart~' It was Jupiter. It made the red-haired male realise a lot of things. He remembered the reason for coming to Grimshade the first time, he remembers the order that Jupiter had given him, he remembered the guild mark that was on his side, and he remembered why he shouldn't get too close to the members, especially Jericho... 

 "Monti? You alright up there?" Jericho asked worriedly, he was waiting at the bottom step for Monti because they had planned that day for the both of them to go on a trip to visit the other guilds. Out of the weeks they've spent together, Monti had never been the last to be ready, ever.

Monti didn't know what to do, it felt like his heart was about to leap out of his throat. He was torn between two decisions; risk going downstairs and carrying on with Jupiter's plan, or run back into the room and stay there so he doesn't harm Jericho anymore. Deciding with the second option, Monti ran back up the stairs and into the first open door he saw, slamming it straight after and scaring the guild member who was calmly sitting on the bed inside. "Gah! Monti? What are you doing in here?" Allumos spoke up with his usually calm voice, standing up from his spot on his purple/whitish bed and walking over to the now shaken up red bean. The shaken up, hyper-active bean jumped at the sudden voice in the room and quickly spun around, spotting the guild leader of Grimshade staring at him in confusion. 

 "I..." He couldn't continue, I mean, how was he supposed to say 'Oh I ran in here because I couldn't risk harming a friend because I'm apart of a dark guild.'? Yeah, wouldn't be that easy. Instead, Monti broke. He slid down on the door and curled up, his breathing became unsteady and small water droplets started to form in the corner of his reddish eyes. Allumos's eyes widened a little at the sudden break down coming from the bean who had been visiting the guild for a while before quickly but calmly rushing over to his side. "Hey hey hey, we don't need tears. C'mon, please? Ok, breathe in for 7, hold for 8 and breathe out for 4. You think you can do that for me?" The guild leader said calmly, hesitant to touch the panicked male. With a little nod, Monti began to follow along with Allumos' breathing technique and sooner then later, his breathing had been regulated to a more normal state where he wasn't in danger of passing out. 

"There you go, nice and calm. Now, can you tell me what had you so panicked all of a sudden?" This was a side of Allumos nobody ever really saw, the calm and father like side. He never liked showing it but, this was an exception.

"I-I t-think I fell in l-love with J-Jericho... b-but I c-can't! I w-wasn't su-supposed to f-fall in love! B-But I d-did!" Monti stuttered out, looking at the Celestial Dragon slayer with glazed eyes, more tears threatening to come out. Allumos looked at the younger male with a bit of shock, he fell in love? Honestly, it wasn't that much of a shock, those two were attached to each other like two peas in a pod, they were basically inseparable. He smiled at the other. "Why are you panicked about loving someone? You should feel happy that you found love in your life. So why does that necessarily scare you?" 

"I w-was sent he-here on a spy m-mission f-for D-Devil's t-tongue, I w-was su-supposed to get c-close with y-your guild to t-tear it apart. But it b-became like a h-home to me... I f-found a home, I f-found l-love, I f-found a family! I d-don't w-want to tear a-apart so-something that I l-love! T-That's why I c-can't l-love him! B-Because I'll j-just put him in d-danger..." The red-haired bean started to cry at the last part, he was probably in more danger than before because he had just foiled the plan by exposing himself to the now shocked Allumos. 

 "Do you think I care if you put me in danger?" The both of them jumped at a certain male's voice, the two heads whipped to the source only for Monti's teary eyes to widened at the sight of the calm Jericho, leaning against the doorway. 

Allumos quickly stood up before swiftly walking over to Jericho, then out the door of his room. But he whispered something to the brunette before he disappeared. "I'm gonna teach a certain devil a lesson for messing with this bean. Take care of him for me." It shocked the Celestial wizard slightly hearing the venom coming from the naturally calm guild leader, before nodding and walking over to the nervous Monti. 

"S-Stay b-back! I d-don't w-want you to g-get h-hurt be-because of my m-mistakes, p-please!" He begged for the wizard to stay away, backing further into the corner of the room.

Jericho didn't listen to his pleas, just walking closer to the tearful bean. Once he arrived at the cornered red head, he kneeled down and took Monti's hand in his own, wiping his tears from his face. The brunette kept his hand on Monti's cheek for a while as he spoke. "Monti, I don't care if you put me in danger, and I don't care if I get hurt because it means I'll be with you, I'll have you by my side. It's not your fault you can't control your emotions. If you love me, then that's fine, I love you too. Just please, don't let your guild leader control your life like this. Plus, I don't like seeing cuties cry, it doesn't suit them well." Monti's eyes stopped tearing up as he looked into Jericho's green ones. 'D-Did he mean it? He l-loved me too?' 

 "T-Thank you, J-Jericho." He muttered shyly, happy that he had his mask on to cover his red face. Unfortunately, the only thing keeping his blush hidden was removed and now Jericho was smirking at him, leaning closer so their noses were nearly touching. "Awww~ You have little freckles on your face along with that cute blush of yours~" The rednette's face blushed even redder, maybe as red as his hair, at the compliment. He pouted at the other male, their faces were too close and it seemed like Jericho was teasing him like they were gonna kiss, which Monti wanted more than he probably should've. "U-Umm, J-Jericho? Are y-you gonna kiss me or c-continue to t-tease me?" 

 Jericho didn't need to be told twice because he had already placed his lips on the soft ones of the bean, their lips fitting together like two pieces of a puzzle. They were sure as hell gonna remember this moment, and it was a moment Monti never wanted to end. 

 P.S: Allumos had a 'little' fun torturing Jupiter about ordering the bean to do such things he didn't want to do. He also told Jupiter that he will be officially adopting Monti into the Grimshade family :).

A/N: YEET! XD Anyways, I really do hope that requests will be done soon. If you don't believe that your request will be done because I'm too slow, feel free to request something from the newer seasons of Origins. Also~ Be expecting more pokemon updates becausseeeeee... I have literally planned all of the chapters up until the finale OwO And might I say, it's gonna be one hell of a ride! I have planned for a minimum of 37 chapters, 38 including an epilogue uwu.
