Since it was the season of joy, the Protectors decided to do some baking in the guest home at Divinus Magia. Even though they don't really allow sweets, Lo Pho managed to convince them that it's the holidays and it's a time to celebrate! Of course Ritchie didn't really like the idea of sweets but Brandon eventually convinced him to allow them.

This is how Jakey, Bryan, Lo Pho and Kay ended up making gingerbread houses.

(Kay's POV)

"Hey Jakey! Could you pass me the icing?" I yell over to Jakey, who was on the other end of the kitchen. Currently, we're making gingerbread houses for everyone in the guilds.

We even made a sugarfree one for Ritchie!

"S-Sure," He hands me a bowl of icing.

"Thank you!"

Me and Jakey were working on David and Mario's one. We decided to put theirs together so that they can share, now that we know that they're together.

As we were working on the houses, Kit comes running in with a weird green bottle in her hand.

"Kit! Watch out!" I look over and yell because we accidentally spilled oil on the floor when moving the houses to the table.

I was too late and she slipped on the puddle of cooking oil, throwing the bottle on Jakey, Kay, Lo Pho and me. Soon, we were covered in this green dust. I closed my eyes so I don't get dust in them.

Once I opened them, I realised that the world around us was so big!

"Um, what happened?" I asked everyone around me.

"Awwww! You guys are so tiny and adorable!" Kit squealed as she jumped up and down.

"It seems we have shrunken. Look," We all look over to where Lo Pho is looking and see a giant gingerbread house.

"Wow, it's huge!" Bryan and Jakey were in awe of the huge sweet in front of them. I was amazed at how detailed we made it.

"Kit, could you go find us someone who can make a potion to turn us back to normal? Preferably Bri or Michael," Kit nodded her head and ran off to find someone to change us back to normal.

"Hey, let's finish the gingerbread home now!" I yelled at the others but they looked at me confused.

"How? We are so small we can barely pick up one of the walls," Bryan said, still looking at the unfinished home.

"Well, Lo Pho and you can fly. I can turn into a flying creature and Jakey can add the details!"

They looked at each other and we all agreed and started working on the Mavid Gingerbread home.

~~~One gingerbread home later~~~

"Ayy, we finished!" We stepped back and looked at the masterpiece we have created.

"It looks great!"
"Yeah it does."
"Y-Yeah!"

We walked inside and sat down.

"Hopefully they--" I was interrupted by Kit walking back in with Michael, Ritchie, Mario, David and Bri.

"Umm, you said they were here. Where are they?" Michael said looking around.

"Guys! You can come out now!" Kit yells.

We step outside and everyone looks at us in shock. Gasps even come from the group.

"Ok, what happened?" Ritchie asked, looking at Kit.

"They were making gingerbread houses and I ran in with a shrinking potion. I slipped so it shrunk them and Lo Pho told me to find either Bri or Michael but I found both."

"Also, why is Mario and David here?"

"We were training with Ritchie when we saw Michael and Bri run past with Kit. We got curious so we followed." Mario said.

"Ohhh."

"So, Michael. Do you have a cure for this? Because as a cat, I'm aleady short as it is."

"Yes I do. Here." He threw the potion at us and a purple smoke engulfed us.

A few seconds later the smoke disappeared and revealed us as our usual size...

...but unusual positions.

Jakey was on top of Bryan, to which both of them had beet red faces. Neither of them minded though. I landed on top of Kit, who also started blushing. Neither of us minded either, but we didn't know that.

"S-Sorry!" Jakey and I quickly got up and helped the other up.

As we were getting up, David walked over to the gingerbread house that we just finished. I look over and he had a slight blush on his cheek when he saw what we wrote on the front.

"Umm, guys? What is this?" David said while pointing at the green and blue gingerbread home with 'MAVID' written in icing on the front wall.

"That, my friend is the Gingerbread house we made for you and Mario!" Now Mario had a blush on his face. He tried so hard to cover it but failed miserably.

"Why?" David's blush got redder and he got nervous.

"B-Because we k-know that..." Jakey started.

"YOU GUYS ARE TOGETHER!!" I squealed and everyone else was shocked.

"Excuse me?! When in the world were you gonna tell us this?" Ritchie yelled with a smirk on his face.

"Someone wasn't ready to tell yet but I guess now would be a good time. Yes, we are together. Honestly, I don't even know how you figured out." Mario says as he walks over to David and hugs him while hiding his head in his chest. David hugs back, chuckling.

"Well, it kinda helps if you don't go on a date to a place where one of us works." I say, my smile growing even larger. Both of them looked at me, surprised and their faces go redder.

"What?! Where do you work?!"

"Me and Bryan work at the Sunset Bakery in Atlantide. I work at the cash register and Bryan is the barista. I literally served both of you and saw you guys flirting. I'm surprised you didn't see me." I explained as their faces go redder the more I explained.

"Well, I'm happy that the both of you don't need to fight in every guild meeting we have." Ritchie says.

"Now if you excuse us, we have Gingerbread homes to deliver!"

(No One's POV)

Michael smiled a little when he saw a gingerbread home with purple/black icing and lettering that spelled Grimshade sitting on the bar table. It even had the guild mark on the roof.

Bri came back to the guest home and saw a gingerbread home that was all the colours of everyone in the Protectors (which were red for Bryan, blue for Relena, gold for Lo Pho, pink for Bri, and light blue for Jakey.). It also had the guild mark on the roof. She smiled and walked over to put the house in the fridge of the guest home.

Silver arrived in his office and saw a gingerbread home with brown and silver icing. It had his guild mark on the roof with a picture of Fred wearing a panda hat next to it. He smiled even as he started to tear up from the random act of kindness.

Ritchie had come back from training with David and Mario to two gingerbread homes on the bar table. As he was looking, Brandon also walked in and saw the homes.

They look at each other and shrugged, walking over to the bar. And they were looking at them, they noticed that each one had the guild mark of Divinus Magia. One house was covered in all the colours of Divinus Magia guild members, including the guild leaders. The other was blue and gold, like Ritchie's poncho and had a note underneath.

Ritchie picked up the note and it read:

'Hey Ritchie!
We know that you don't like sweet things but we wanted to give something to everyone. We were thinking and... We made you this gingerbread house!
Even though you wouldn't normally eat it, there is no sugar in it and we thought that you would like it. Don't worry, it isn't too sweet that you won't like it but it's sweet enough to still be festive.

Ritchie smiled and grabbed a piece of the roof and ate it. Brandon looked over at him curiously to see if his brother would actually like it. It surprised him when Ritchie turned over to Brandon smiling. They put the houses in the fridge and decided to wait for the rest of the guild to eat them.

All was good in Atlantide and it was a very festive night for all.
