The next morning after the fight that had taken place in their dorm house, the six girls were all called down for their first mission training. Each girl was instructed to draw a card from a box. On each card, there was a title of what each girl had to do. They either had to lead, cover and defend, or attack.

This first time, Souka drew the leader card.

Hotaru drew the cover card.

Nagasaki drew the attack card.

Aoi drew the defend card.

Solby drew the cover card.

And Hirumi drew a defend card.

Hotaru groaned out loud. "OH MY LORD. I DREW THE LAMEST DAMN CARD OF ALL OF THEM!" She screamed out.

Souka stood in place, meekly staring at her card. "L-Leader..? Really? This is just my luck..." she lightly complained.

Nagasaki raised her hand. "Ok, how am I supposed to attack and with what? With a flip flop? What am I? An elderly Mexican grandma chasing down her children?" (This is my favorite line)

Aoi paused. "How am I gonna defend when I don't have anything physical to hit someone with?"

Solby said nothing of her card, but she did look at her wings curiously. As if judging them.

Hirumi sighed sharply. "Inchio-San, wanna trade cards?"

Before any of the girls could make a further comment, two huge doors opened. Showing a massive area to battle. Like a training deck.

"Alright ladies. Please step into the area." Spoke someone over an intercom.

The girls looked at each other hesitantly before doing as instructed. Once they got to the middle two lights went off.

"Now-" the intercom speaker started."-You all have drawn cards of what your role is currently. Mind you, this will not be your permanent role. We just want to run a few simulations to see who fits in what category. There is usually a leader, a defender, a coverer and an attacker. But in your case, there will be two of one specific area because your group is a bit bigger."

Souka looked around, she clutched her hands to fists, taking a deep breath. "O-Ok..."

"Now! Let the training battle commence!"

Several holograms appeared, showing regular street thugs. They were armed, so their threat level was a bit higher.

Aoi smiled. "Oh I got this!" She announced. Aoi suddenly disappeared, and a dark bubble went around the two street thugs.

More holograms appeared and moved on Solby and Hotaru.

Hotaru glared at the holograms. "No you don't!" Two portals opened at Hotaru's feet, and demons crawled from them.

Solby took the air, pulling out a sword seemingly from nowhere. She flew at the holograms.

More holograms moved up on Souka, Nagasaki and Hirumi.

Hirumi smirked and cracked her knuckles. "No need to get your hands dirty ladies. I've got this. Just sit back and relax." She teased. She closed her eyes then reopened them again, staring at the holograms.

More bad guys moved up.

Souka suddenly whipped around and made a swipe motion with her hand. Black smoke went in the peoples faces.

Nagasaki looked back at Hirumi. She was fine, as was Souka. The mind reader looked back at Hotaru and Solby. They too were fine. Aoi.

Quickly, Nagasaki zipped past Hirumi and her bad guys and to Aoi.

Aoi was struggling with one of the goons. She had picked up one of their weapons and was attacking at another.

Nagasaki ran up and put her hand up to the back of the mans head that was currently up in front of Aoi. Nagasaki's purple eye shone brightly.

Aoi quickly moved to defend her, taking a swing at another up coming hologram.

Hotaru lunged at another villain. Attacking with her demons.

Finally after awhile of fighting. All little goon holograms vanished, and a new one replaced them. This time, it was a true villain. One that the pro heroes took down long ago by force. This villain was a machine that could disrupt telepathic powers, had a powerful light beacon, a strong fan and almost indestructible armor. It was a machine so it feared nothing and it had no soul, heart or flesh. It remained still, as if waiting for the girls to make a move.

The six girls grouped back together. Looking at their target.

"The shit?!" Hotaru yelled.

Hirumi looked up at the machine. It stood as tall as a skyscraper. "Isn't that the dead villain Beacon?!"

"He's supposed to be scraped." Solby confirmed.

"Its a test. Remember?!" Aoi yelled, trying to sound calm and failing.

Nagasaki spoke up. "A test to see which categories we worked best in. Now all of us have been doing our own thing for awhile but we can't here. This time we really need to work together."

Souka looked up at Beacon. "The pros used a method of attack, retreat, repeat. One hero would get Beacon's attention, as it only moves if something attacks first. Then another would sneak from behind and do as much damage as possible. Once Beacon's attention turned to the one hero doing damage, that hero would quickly fall back, giving the other a chance as well."

Solby hovered in the air. "Good memory." She commented. "Now, let's kill this thing again."

"Hotaru, see if you can get Beacon's attention. Send demons after it. And don't get to close. Aoi, if beacon were to turn to Hotaru don't let it. Force it to use its light. That will drain it. Solby, provide a quick escape and extra cover. Hirumi, see if you can get into the machine going undetected. Nagasaki and I will provide anything else. Ok?" Souka explained, looking back at her group.

Hotaru laughed. "Hell yeah! Let's blow this piece of shit!" She quickly ran at Beacon.

Solby gave a nod before flying up further into the air.

Hirumi and Aoi nodded before running their different ways to get into a different position.

Nagasaki looked at Souka. "Didn't think you to be the leader type Souka. Good job."

Souka took a deep breath. "L-Lets just get this over with."

The two girls quickly headed off to give assistance when it was needed.

Hotaru had quickly summoned a lot of demons from portals. Demons started crawling up Beacon's leg.

Hirumi quickly sprinted to a higher place. She looked ahead to see that she was level with Beacon's head. Quickly, she scanned the skys. "Come on Rose, where are you." She asked quietly to herself.

Solby quickly zigzagged in the air, trying to get to Hirumi's position.

The villain reached out to grab her out of the sky.

The flyer jolted ever so slightly and braced herself for it. It never came. She looked around only to see darkness, then light again. She came out into the clear.

Beacon suddenly shot off its huge light.

Aoi, down below on the ground, turned and covered her eyes and head with her arms, screaming out in pain.

Souka went and quickly ran to Aoi to cover her.

Hirumi, when she didn't see Solby in time, finally scoffed. "Oh what the hell." She yelled, before finally jumping from the roof she was standing on and onto Beacon's closest shoulder.

Souka pulled out an air mask and managed to put it over Aoi's face. She then turned back and opened both her palms, holding her hands out in front of her and up toward Beacon. Smoke rose from her hands and into the air at the villain.

Nagasaki crouched low to the ground, before shutting her eyes tightly and sending a powerful mind wave at the Villain's circuit board.

Beacon stumbled, before blowing its massive fan in Souka's direction and swiping at a near by building with its hand above where Nagasaki was.

Solby quickly flew in, her sword in her hand. Her eyes turned black as she swung her sword at the armor before suddenly zipping away.

Rose's strike had taken a bit of the metal armor away, but that didn't stop it. The building still fell above Nagasaki and Souka was now on the ground unconscious by Aoi, who was still in pain from the light.

Hotaru snapped her attention back to where her peers lay and sprinted to them. First to the ruins of the building and sending two demons to check on Souka and Aoi. The demon summoner then turned back to Beacon. "HIRUMI IF YOU WANNA DO SOMETHING DO IT NOW!" She screamed, starting to throw bricks and rubble away to uncover her peer.

Suddenly, Beacon staggered again. Solby turned and flew toward an opening in its neck. Her eyes scanning the interior, she spyed Hirumi, pulling wires and breaking cables. "Come on, its gonna fall." She quickly grabbed Hirumi's arm and flew out, holding the pink haired girl up by both arms.

Hirumi was breathing heavily, her eyes scanning the area below as Rose drifted back down to the ground.

A couple of bricks landed by them, and finally Hotaru pulled Nagasaki out.

The two demons carried Aoi and Souka over to them and gently laying them down on the ground.

Hotaru alone was not strong enough to pick up Nagasak, so she just dragged her as carefully as she could over to them.

Once the three were all layed down on the ground properly, Hotaru fell on her back, breathing heavily. "What. . . The hell. . . Was that. . . " she asked, her mind half in a state of rage.

Hirumi knelt down by the others, checking them over for any serious wounds. She merely shook her headn staying silent.

"That was the mission. Take down the enemy." Solby replied without missing a beat.

Hitachi-Chan sat up again, looking at the flyer. "At cost." She snapped. "Three of our teammates are laying unconscious. We're lucky it was just a test."

Solby fell silent for a moment, then opened her mouth and replied. "Then that's something we get better at. Watching each others backs... I know its something I need to work on..." Rose said, vulnerability finally hearable in her tone.

Hirumi looked at the two, not making any snarky comment. There was no place for it here. They were both right, they completed the mission at a cost. Next time, it won't happen again. They'd be better at sticking together.

This was real. The test, the cost, the emotion, the distress. It all was something the pro heroes were and are facing to this very day. This wasn't a game anymore.

This was the real thing.
