Worst Zelda Dungeons
Whenever you are playing through a Zelda game, you have to go through dungeons. There are some dungeons where you go: I wanna kill myself! While these are usually water dungeons, they aren't always. So with that being said, let's blow right into this feature.
This contains opinions. If your favorite dungeon is on this list, I am sorry about that. But don't hate me.

On Black Friday 2015, I got a New 3DSXL with multiple games. One of these games was "A Link Between Worlds". It was really fun. But there was one dungeon that I didn't like that much. This dungeon was the Ice Ruins. I don't know why, but it always confused me for sone reason. I would have expected the water dungeon to piss me off, but it was the ice ruins. I have always disliked it. I guess it's better than it was when I first played it, but it has won as my least favorite dungeon in the game.

The Minish Cap is a great game. I just love the main concept, and the music is great. However, there is one dungeon that isn't my favorite: The Fortress of Winds. This dungeon is annoying. It's tedious, annoying, and virtually useless: the element isn't even there. However, the boss is pretty awesome. Switching between normal and minish form during battle was fun, and I wish they used it more. It is my least favorite dungeon in the game, but it isn't awful. At least the item is good.

There is one temple from Ocarina of Time that is universally hated: the Water Temple. But I actually really like this dungeon, especially in Master Quest. A temple I don't like is the Shadow Temple. I don't know why, but I've never really liked this dungeon. It's just bland and boring, even in Master Quest. The setting could be cool, but it just fails. It just uses specific enemies like Dead Hand, Redeads and Gibdos, Skulltula, Keese, Bubbles, Stalfos, and Floormasters and Wallmasters, and, worst and least of all, Beemos. I hate Bernie with a fiery passion, and the shadow temple goes overboard with them. The item you get is the worst item in the game, the butter boots (Hover Boots). It's helpful in a few places, but it is annoying to walk around as if you are on ice. The layout is just annoying, relying very heavily on the Lens of Truth, which is not extremely riveting gameplay. I've just never been able to like this dungeon. I can't say I hate it, but it just isn't at all fun.

Let's face it: Twilight Princess is not the best game for dungeon design. Especially not the first dungeon, the Forest Temple. I don't really like it that much. All of the Like-Likes are annoyingly placed, The monkey gimmick is annoying, it's WAAAAAAAY too dark, the item isn't that great. I could go on for a while on the flaws. I suppose the puzzles are pretty fun, but they're gimmicky. It's not the worst dungeon in the game, but easily my second least favorite. It lands a spot on my list at number 7.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ocarina of Time. I just don't like a lot of the dungeons. This time, the dungeon is Inside the Great Deku Tree. This dungeon is just boring. The puzzles are easy, Navi is especially annoying (I still love you Navi), everything is way too easy. There's just one hard part in this dungeon: getting the first cobweb to break. It works like 1 out of 5 tries. The music is awful, if you can even call it that. Actually most of the dungeon themes suck. There's really no positive to this dungeon. But it isn't my least favorite in the game. Instead, it lands a spot on this list at number 6.

I love Skyward Sword! However, there is one dungeon I despise: Lanayru Mining Facility. The dungeon just isn't for me. There are these stupid turret enemies that are annoying to kill. I actually had to look up a strategy guide to kill it. The conveyor belts are annoying. They're easy to fall onto and die. I died the most in this dungeon. The layout is confusing, and you almost never use the Gust Bellows afterword. It's just boring. Like the music. The music is annoying as crap. This is definitely my least favorite dungeon of the game. And it scores right in at number 5.

Again, I love Ocarina of Time. But there is one dungeon that is worse than the rest. Jabu Jabu's Belly sucks! It's disgusting, annoying, and tedious. The enemies aren't that great. Princess Ruto is like if you took everything good about Navi and shoved it down Jabu Jabu's throat, made her bigger, and made her function as a box. She is more annoying than Navi! It would have been better as the second dungeon because of the item: the boomerang. Also, is it bad that the mini boss is harder than the actual boss. I don't like this dungeon at all. The boss is okay, but it isn't anything special. It is easily my least favorite dungeon in the game. It is also my number 4 on this list.

When playing The Wind Waker, you have to do a final challenge to get to Ganondorf called Ganon's Castle. What you have to do is go around through certain rooms and fight the bosses again except Gohdan. The rooms leading up to the bosses are so annoying! Most of them are pretty self explanatory, except for the room leading up to the Gohma fight. You are supposed to use only the items you had at the time you went through the coordinating dungeon. But for the Dragon Roost Cavern room you have to use the Grappling Hook and, for some reason, the Deku Leaf, which you would never expect to need to do that. It's just stupid, and I hate it, and it is my number 3 spot.

Twilight Princess is a great game, it's just got some bad dungeons. Like this one. It is said to be the same dungeon as another dungeon that is hated by many. It's the Lakebed Temple! YAAAAAY!!! But seriously, this dungeon sucks. The gimmick of this dungeon is the changing of the water current, which requires you to equip the Iron Boots if you want to go up stairs and stuff. And when you are going up stairs, you can't roll. And there is one room that you go in that has a chest in it. You can't get the chest unless you have the Clawshot, and the room just happens to be where a current comes from. The dungeon is just annoying, and it is easily my least favorite dungeon in the game. But there is one dungeon that I hate even more.

Majora's Mask, for a while, was my favorite game of all time. But then I got to a certain part of the game in the 3-D remake: the Great Bay Area. I hate this area. The Zora's Mask is my least favorite transformation mask, the Zora Egg quest is just dumb, and the place is so barren. But the worst thing about this area, the factor that pushed this game back substantially from 1st to a different place, is the dungeon. The Great Bay Temple is absolutely awful. The gimmick is very similar to the Lakebed Temple, but sooooo much worse. The water direction never works in your favor, and you'll probably go somewhere you don't want to because it pushes you into the wrong room. And all of the entrances look the same, so unless you have a perfect memory, you'll probably just go in circles going into a room you've already been. The dungeon item, the Ice Arrows, are basically useless after the dungeon. I know the dungeon items are usually useless, but Majora's Mask is good at using dungeon items. It's so easy to get lost in this dungeon. And the boss, Gyorg, is just awful. You don't even use the Ice Arrows against it. Oh, and the music sucks too. I absolutely hate this dungeon. This dungeon has no good parts except for the first Mini-boss, who actually poses a challenge. Otherwise, I hate everything about it. And it is my least favorite Zelda dungeon ever.
So that was a lot of negativity. Zelda was my first fandom, so I hold a special place for it in my heart. Even if there are awful dungeons. That's it basically. So until we meet again, build up your Legends, and I'll see you dudes later.
