Good thing James decided to take action. I followed him as we both pulled out the acoustics.

Prom is coming up in a couple weeks, and what better than to see the spring day than with strings? The four guys helped us come up with a neat plan. We mashed up (go figure) a bunch of their songs and strung them into one. Give me a lifetime, Best Thing, Love you like the movies, and That's what I'm looking for. I guess if you put the titles together it could be "I'm looking for a thing in my lifetime like the movies.... or something like that" Sometimes it is funny working with them, and sometimes it's unexplainable about how much they can help you out. Their words can be encouragement. Or in Chad's case can feel like a bunch of hubbub sarcasm, but you know he's joking.

After the song, both L.A. and Khloe are in tears. They run up and hug us. Alan got the entire thing on video, and in many years it'll be interesting to see. I know I am blushing as the guys give us a thumbs up. As Khloe pulls away, I look in her eyes as James looks as L.A. We ask them the question at the same time...

"Will you go to Prom with me?"
