Dark night flickers feel fertile

As music ramps desire

Rising from dark river barge

Bolts sparkle crisscross high

Waves of colors' quick discharge

Dazzles our eager eyes

From bridge that spans black river

Pours waterfall of light

Excitement felt as shivers

Grand spark show in dark night

Local riverfront shines bright

Explosions fill the air

Water shimmers in dark night

Color sparks everywhere

Listen to the music soar

With every rocket flare

Bursts of light that pause then pour

Loud booms can scare, beware

Summer salute the reason

We gather on this day

Last party of the season

Sends summer on its way
