I did not want

     to write about

     a topic that

     leaves mind in pout.

But mind engaged

     in a word drought

     til I took up

     a writing rout.

When work was done

     my mind released

     the words it held;

     that stubborn beast!

Now my pen flows

     an inky feast

     and forehead is

     no longer creased!
