Waves of rain roll in

Like a morning tide

Branches twirl and spin

Leaves glide down Wind's slide

Warm and cool gusts mix

Softly pat my face

Mind's serene transfix

Thoughts at quiet pace

As Fall slips in town

Summer drifts away

Yellow, red and brown

Soon will paint our days

Hear cool showers hiss

Tickle ears mellow

Summer we dismiss
