My thoughts begin to wander

As I sit upon my deck

Reflecting I do ponder

Reviewing a lifelong trek

Will you read as I write

As the thoughts begin to gel

And a storyline ignites

Or a lyric starts to swell

Whether lyric or a story

Or as simple allegory

A few thoughts I want to share

Will you come into my lair?
