A light flashes and Lacey screams . Lacey gets knocked out. Kagami Hntr, a guard of Lyric Note, and a faithful friend to the warrior princess Lacey Karmel Smule, ran over to the dirty blond Lacey, with her head on the ground attached to her limp body. "Lacey~Chan, Lacey~Chan, LACEY~CHAN!!!" Said Kagami. Kagami Hntr falls onto her knees and sobs onto Lacey. Lacey wakes up slowly, while moaning in pain from the impact. Lacey slowly tries to sit up, but fails miserably. Her usually bright, sparkly, and laughter filled caramel eyes, were dull and burnt orange. "K-Kaga-mi... What h-happened...?" Lacey asked. Lacey gets knocked out again, and falls back onto the ground, limp and numb.

Lacey wakes up in her turquoise room, trying to sit up, using her elbows to pull her. There's a doctor in the room, looking at the herbs she's packing in her bag. "She's going to be fine-" Avalina cuts her off saying, "OH MY GALILEE SHE'S AWAKE!!!!!" Lacey clutches her head in a throbbing pain, and moans, "Uhhhhhhh.... Stop..... It's making my head hurt....." Avalina was a very close friend of Lacey, and was her personal guard. "Oh! (Whispers) okay, sorry..." Lacey chuckles, "It's fine. Doctor, you're dismissed. Please tell my parents I'm fine, I'm going to check on the gates." Avalina jumped up and started over to Lacey, "Lacey~Sama, I'll come with you. I'm sure you won't mind a guard coming with-" Lacey chuckled and stood up to hug Ava, "Ava, we both know that you're worried about the gates, you also don't want to go there alone. You don't have to come with me and try to convince me to go with you. I'd be glad too, you're more than a guard, you're my friend. You and Kagami Hntr. I'll go with you." Avalina played with her brunette hair that was hanging out of her helmet,"Lacey, thanks. You really don't-" Lacey stepped forward and smiled at Ava, "I want too." Avalina goes back to playing with her hair, and tosses it over her shoulder."T-thanks..."

They arrive at the gates, with Kagami, and Avalina, standing before them with tears on the edge of their eyes. Lacey breaks the on going silence, "Here we are Ava, our destination... The Gates." Avalina then hugs Lacey and Kagami, "T-thanks f-for c-coming w-w-with m-me...." Lacey chuckles emptily, "No problem Ava. I know you're still... Sensitive about coming here.... Even with company...." Avalina whimpers, on the verge of sobs, "Please... Don't talk about it...." Lacey hugs Ava tight and turns towards Kagami. Kagami looks haunted and sad, with her pitch brown hair with purple died tips over her shoulders, framing her pale features and dark chocolate eyes, "Lacey~Sama, please. Can we not talk about the past... About, your sister..." Ava spurts a cry and cackles a sob, while kneeling down on the ground. Lacey walks over to Ava and pats her shoulder, "Ava, it's over now, it's in the past... I know she's evil, but she's still my sister.... I still love her."
Kagami looks down and plays with her bracelet, "We all know that, but Lacey~sama is right. I don't really like her sister, but I'm sure she had a reason to leave." Avalina sobs and yells, "I K-KNOW B-BUT I-I... I- SHE WAS MY B-BEST F-FRIEND!!!!!"
