Current Update: It is winter, and it's a couple days after the winter solstice. A blizzard came through all the sudden during the solstice, so lyra went to check it out. She found tracks that led up a mountain and found a cult. The cult wanted to bring in elements and ruin the realm along side the 9 demon princes(9 demons princes were released in the underdark and the party has killed one and must killed the rest. Before this town, they were in the underdark. Once they got out, they ran into this dwarven town.) They attacked the cult, closed the portal to the ice realm that was causing the blizzard, and kept one leader alive to question them. After that, they returned to town and went to the king to announce their victory and collect their reward. The party owns an inn in this town called The Golden Nugget.

The calander of Harptos is the calander they're going off of. The date is Nightal day 22

Why write any of this?-I started writing this little diary story with my character, Lyra Vinera, because I love writing and I love DnD and writing what happens in detail really captures the moment and the fun, and helps others visualize the campaign. I'll be adding older parts in as well. DnD for my group is every Thursday from 5-7/8ish.

Info on campaign- 5th edition, DnD for my group is every Thursday 5-7. The campaign is a mix of Out of the Abyss and Princes of the Apocalypse.

H

ow do we have a dnd group with so many people, you ask? Whelp we have a main dm and a co-dm. Bigger groups are harder to do but much more fun. Also if you're new to dnd, here are some tips:

Dm- dungeon master, the person who runs the campaign/game.

d20/d12/d6 are just dice 20 sided/dice 12 sided/dice 6 sided. There are 7 dice in a set.

Abilities. Constitution is your heath, strength is your damage, dexterity is your speed/endurance, intelligence is your book smarts and such and that's linked to applying knowledge and critical thinking, wisdom is experience smarts and applying experiences, Charisma is looks/tone/attitude/how well you entice people or persuade them.

Campaigns are basically stories your charcter is in with a party, which is a group of characters doing the same campaign together.

You can do anything you want in dnd, go crazy.

There are different editions to the game and each edition has different races and weapons and classes and such. They're not too different, depending.

There are different realms and you're limited on the amount of spells you can cast. You have a certain number of spell slots that can be used up during combat or until you rest.

Rests help restore mana and health and stops you from gettting exhaustion points, which adds a disadvantage to your rolls. Long rests allow you to change up some spells. There are also short rests.

Don't dm until you've played the game for awhile.

Have fun my dude. UWU
