Okay, for clarification's sake I use the Climb's/The Noodlers design of Mapleshade as my canon Mapleshade because it's s o pretty and Good.

Anyways after reading Mapleshade's Vengeance AND Goosefeather's Curse, where she shows up, I, even though I already knew this myself, have come to the conclusion

Mapleshade wins best cat and best villain

I mean, Needletail is also the best cat but they can tie that's fine.

Also, Appledusk, Frecklewish, Oakstar, and Ravenwing can all rot in hell for all I care they're all awful and don't deserve anything good.

I love her as a villain so much and GOD she's S O COOL AND GOOD.

Though during MV I really was like... "why....is she in the Dark Forest when she did acts out of revenge for the death of her kits??? Why  ? ? ?  ?"

WHY ISNT FRECKLEWISH IN THE DARK FOREST?!?!?!?! SHE BROKE THE WARRIOR CODE A N D LET MAPLESHADE'S KITS D I E. SHE ALSO TRIED TO KILL MAPLESHADE FOR LYING PURPOSEFULLY TO KEEP HER KITS SAFE. 

Appledusk is just...such a douchebag too??? Like, he was cheating on Mapleshade even after she had his kits and just...what the fuck dude. You don't deserve a pretty name like that.

It's so odd to watch Mapleshade literally get exiled because Oakstar was mad that she lied about being with his dead brother and because she was mates with his killer. Like...she was mates with Appledouche before he accidentally killed Birchface and Flowerpaw????? What the fuck????

But in all honesty she's better as a villain, she kicks ass AND is super cool and that's all that matters.

Mapleshade is a good child, she deserved better, and Appledusk can go fuck himself.

Also, like, her being the one to help Goosefeather learn how to defend himself until he finds out about Frecklewish's death is just...d a m n.

PLUS S H E WAS THE VOICE IN TIGERCLAW'S HEAD THAT INSIGHTED HIM TO BECOME SHADOWCLAN'S LEADER??? THATS S O  C O O L.

Also it doesn't list her as dead on the wiki PLUS she ran away after Sandstorm + Spottedleaf attacked her so she's officially Not Dead. Y'all can fight me on this. She's still fucking with people in the Dark Forest and I stand by that.

Though I'm SO SAD that Mapleshade did everything she did for her kits and partially because she had been driven insane by their deaths and Appledump's betrayal, yet she NEVER sees her kits again. What the HELL, STARCLAN.

Y'all know very well that if they're in Starclan Appledusk doesn't pay ANY attention to them either, he didn't care at all. They should be with their mom and that's final.

Because, to be honest, wouldn't it be cool if there were somehow KITS in the Dark Forest? Like, maybe they WERE in Starclan, but after Appledusk denied being their father and basically pushed them aside, they went to go look for their mother and ended up wandering into the Dark Forest before finding her? Maybe they stayed, and Mapleshade just keeps them away from everyone else to prevent them from getting hurt or seeing the shit that happens in the DF??? I like that idea.

I also like the idea that the "hallucinations" Mapleshade had of her kits wailing until she killed one of the cats involved in their deaths were actually them themselves pushing her to get vengeance for their deaths, because I'm super down for Dark Forest kits and y'all can't stop me.

But other than that, Mapleshade is the best, Appledusk and Frecklewish can go die in a pit, and she's great and should be loved by literally everyone the end.
