Zero's p.o.v.

I finish cleaning up the kitchen before I go to the bathroom. And I can sense Tess is sleeping.

After I clean it up and handle the laundry I look around wishing again this house wasn't so big but glad it was cause I'd had a house load of company. I finally return to the living room to spot my wife sleeping on her stomach in her pj's as the bruise from the needle finally starts to improve now that she's not fighting her body. I look at her shorts in her pj's admiring her legs again. I don't know if Richter's in on it but until I'm sure I don't want him near her. And I definitely don't want that insane red head by her.

There guards but I'm expected at the office Monday and I don' t want to leave her here alone. She's so drained I can feel it. Her body used a lot just to fight herself. I grab my tablet and start reading incoming reports until I fall asleep on the chair next to her.

I stay close to her the whole weekend and she has frequent visitors like when she got hurt back at the academy when she first arrived. She was up and moving around Monday but still tired however she did get up and make me breakfast anyways. She's wearing a t-shirt and shorts and I have her come with me to the office telling her she can help me with my paperwork.

She's sitting in a chair I'd had brought in her shoes off legs over the side of the couch crossed as she sucks on a sucker while going over electronic files sorting hunts on a large tablet. I have the radio on because it's her habit and I'm used to it now so her foots tapping to the beat. I have my coffee and her tea cup is on the table next to her. Her shotgun is under the couch in hiding as are her sighs.

The door slams open again and she looks at me raised eyebrow.

"Can't anyone knock around here.", she says annoyed and I have to admit I'm annoyed to. I look up and it's Richter.

"Didn't I say I didn't want you in my office unless I sent for you.", I say coldly shuffling papers as he looks at me and not noticing Tess yet. I see Tess's eyes burn holes in his back.

" I assure you I had nothing to do with your wife being drunk at the party.", he says as Tess looks more irritated.

"Ya and I don't appreciating you side kick trying to roofie my drink and then stabbing me with the crap.", Tess says now looking at him and catching his attention. "There was enough crap in that needle to kill a person, I'm just lucky I recovered." I sense her irritation. She then gets up giving him a harsh glare shoot she's pist. I am a little too.

"If you were more fit as a president's wife this stuff wouldn't happen.", Richter says and I hear Tess get angrier.

"Says the man trying to marry my husband off to a different woman.", she says sharply " who are you to judge me as Zero's wife and what kind of wife I should be." she now stands in front of him at her full height of 5ft 11 showing how short he is compared.

"A hunter was elected this time who married a hunter, last time you had the cross dresser, who was Asato's puppet., and was gender confused. "

"I am the former VP and should be VP again, I can decide because I'm older and your just some girl that looks cute in an office.", he says as I sit back and watch the show knowing Tess is ready to clobber him.

"I am a full fledged hunter , and according to your file I was sorting info on the last time you hunted you cried like a baby and your partner nearly died saving your behind because you were hiding your tail." she says .

Richter's face is now red as he throws a punch at her and even weakend Tess is able to side step redirecting him so she had him against the wall.

"Mr. Richter, I suggest you leave my office before I rip your throat out for disrespecting my wife and daring to try and lay a hand on her.", I say grabbing him from Tess by his collar throwing him out of my office. "And keep him out this time." I say to the guards who drag him away while I slam the door.

I grab my wife pulling her towards me brushing my lips to hers running a hand through her hair as she sighed happily.

Honda's p.o.v.

She's unfit to lead as a president's wife, where I'm groomed to be with powerful men, they are good for nothing but puppets. The little tramp needs to be out of my way for good.

I lay in bed snuggling my lover as I lap up his blood. He grins at me as I lick it off. With his blood I can stay young and pretty forever and I will challenge the so called huntress to a duel. Then I will kill her and go after the president to comfort him after reminding him she's no good.

Richter is only my pawn, he wants a puppet leader so he can be in control and he want's Zero in a match that will make him controllable. Funny I want control too.

Tess's p.o.v.

Poor Zero I'm going into heat and it's already getting to him and I got a whole week to go. My energy's back yay me but going into heat as a wolf will do that to you . Also it's like a rollercoaster so I take a lot of cold showers as I rise. It takes Zero all his will power to leave the house as his instincts pull him closer waiting for the peak. I tell you the truth I'm going nuts, I'm home today and I've cleaned and dusted the whole house with the energy and dusted everything alone and taken twelve cold showers.

I swear the urge to mate is driving me nuts right now. I need a run but I know it's not wise to go without Zero right now cause I'll have to beat off any wolf within a hundred miles.

I'm so hyped and worse my brain is totally in the gutter today. Arg. I go to the basement were there's a little gym and it's cooler and I start practicing on some punching bags. I need to get through this.

Zero has important meeting today, and being in each others head is hard enough, If I'm there he won't make it through the meeting.

I continue to kick and punch landing blows on the dummies repeatedly until I'm sweaty again and have to hit the shower again. I hear a banging on the front door as I step out and run down and slow when I smell Lady Honda.

I fling the door open and stare at her arms crossed as I am not in a good mood.

"Lady Honda what brings you here.", I say as I sense her distaste then I smell it, she's sucking vamp blood.

"I want to challenge you to a duel.", she says "And if you decline it'll prove your unfit to be the president's wife."

"I don't need to prove anything.", I say looking at her coldly. She attempts to slap me and I catch it.

"I'm in a bad mood already and your making it worse now get lost!", I say giving her a wolfish glare. She punches me with what looks like a pair of brass knuckles but are a hunter's weapon and I catch it holding the fist.

"I'm a hunter not a vampire, hunter's weapons won't harm me.", I say blandly putting a little pressure on it making her wince..

"you seem crabby.", says Zero

"You have no idea, I have a pest at the door and I've had 13 cold showers today." I hear him chuckle.

"Why all the showers." he asks.

"You'll figure it out quick when you get home.

"I'm done with the meeting early so I'll come home and see why your taking so many showers."

"Well Honda you got to go I don't have time for this crap, we're not supposed to hunt other hunters.", I say. As she seeths a me throwing her other fist which I also catch. The only thing that makes a she-wolf more dangerous is when shes fighting the urge to mate and this is only the first day.

"Zero you may want to bring someone to get lady Honda out of here because I'm tempted to put her in a body bag.", I say dropping her fist.

"She's there.", he asks

"Yep picking a fight with me.", I say.

Zero's p.o.v.

I grab Toga and Kane and rush to the house faster. All day I could sense Tess was a little unsettled and I wasn't quite sure why she was on her 13th shower. She's very agitated and Honda being there made it worse.

When we arrive Lady Honda is throwing fists at Tess as she jumps and kicks her.

"I wouldn't wanna be her right now.", Kane suddenly says.

"Pms.", asks Toga looking at him.

"Worse Tess is in heat and she's on a peak, meaning ....." Kane says

"She's gonna kill her if she doesn't get out of here and give Tess a chance to calm down and take a shower or"

Then I pick it up in the air suddenly and I could swear my eyes glowed yellow a moment.

"I guess then if we get her out of here Zero's going to be very busy tonight."

I could sense her bodies urge to mate as she deals another kick to the red-head.

It was a stronger pull than normal as I could now that she was distracted as

Toga ran up and grabbed Lady Honda quick and pulled her off the property as Kane looked at me.

"Good luck Zero you came home during a peak.", he says chuckling as they drag the red head off and I turn to my wife and the pheremones hit me stronger as she runs in and I chase in after her.

The urge to mate Tess took over my being as her brain buzzed full of the impulses and I drop my bag and my coat as she stand there eyeing me like I was prey. Before I know it she's got me pinned and I can feel the primal urges of a wolf taking over completely.

After a few hours a sleeping Tess was snuggled up to me contentedly. The rest of the week is like that with valleys and peaks and I learn the peaks make her antsy and tempermental, but if I showed up during one of those peaks I was hit by a wave and couldn't stay away.

Which was just as well it settled her down so she could function calmly. Lady Honda was arrested and locked up for her attack on Tess, while Richter kept bothering me when I was doing things in the other part of the association.

Tess p.o.v.

I was right Zero was swept away when the peaks hit and the urge to mate would take over while I was in heat. But I'd feel calmer afterward and could function.

Once the week was over I was relieved and I could run again, but I was hungry all the time. And I craved grass in wolf form a lot. Today I was at Zero's office helping him with paperwork again.

"Something smells different about you.", he says looking up at me and that's when I t dawns on me what it could be that's making me weird. I hop up and look at him.

"Um I have to run to the store quick I'll be right back.", I say darting out of the office and rushing to the grocery store I find the clear blue stick and purchase it throwing him the cash.

"Tess are you ok.", he asks concerned.

"Yea I think so.", I say as I rush home and take the test waiting for it to confirm my guess when the two dashes show up I think I'm gonna faint in shock then I feel everything go black.

When I come too I see a worried Zero holding my head in his lap.

"what happened to you?", he asks and I point to the stick on the floor which he picks up and his eyes widen at the two dashes.

"How?", he asks. "that's what happens if you get caught up with a werewolf during a peak.", I say before he kisses me.
