Zero and I are still adjusting to our blood bond, being able to sense your mates thoughts or speak telepathically takes some getting used too. His increase in appetite has been a little amusing as well. Yuki eventually had her boy a little Kaname look alike she named Kaien much to my uncle's joy.

I was taking Zero to my dad's so we could put the seal on him to save trouble of his being an Alpha now from being detected. Bonjovi's who says you can't go home was playing as he had his arm around me across the seat . Before we know it we're at my dad's place.

"Tess I need you to meet with Grey Wolf while I work on Zero's seal.", my dad says as we get inside as he hands me an envelope. I nod giving Zero a peck on the cheek as he hugs me before I go.

I hop in my truck and open the envelope before heading to Grey Wolf's . Before I know it I'm at the compound. I hop out of my truck and bang on the door of the Pack house. "Yes.", answers a grouchy blond.

"Kane sent me, to talk to Grey Wolf he's indisposed at the moment.", I say expressionless. "Fine.", she says and leads me into an office. "Boss Kane sent someone to meet with you.", she says as she motions for me to enter. "Grey Wolf , I've come in Kane's place to see why you summoned him.", I ask looking at him "My name is Tess."

"Well Tess, I learnt Kane had a daughter and wanted to propose a arranged marriage to strengthen my pack.", he says as I keep my mental wall up. Zero would freak and while he's getting that tat that wouldn't be a good idea.

"What makes you think his child would agree to a arranged marriage.", I say coldly.

"My son is a prime mate, and her dad can force the issue.", he replies "a blood bond between the two making my son a Alpha would strengthen us among other packs also."

I 'm really glad he can't smell me right now. "Well I speak for Kane when I say he will not be encouraging an arranged marriage because that's what damaged the Alpha's to begin with.", I say.

"If this was your only reason for calling sir you wasted your time Kane will never agree, and his child is already blood bonded so your son wouldn't become and Alpha anyway. Now I will take my leave.", I turn on my heal and exit the office and walk to the door of the pack house. I reach for the doorknob to have my wrist grabbed by a young guy about 26 with red hair and red eyes.

"Hey honey why the hurry.", he says as Grey Wolf comes into the hallway. "I need to report back to Kane.", I say coldly yanking my arm from his grasp. I can sense Zero in the back of my head

"What's taking so long for you to get back.", my silver haired mate asks telepathically.

"Just being a little held up.", I reply mentally.

"I'm gonna ask Kane personally Ms. Silvermoon, and you better be lying about being bonded because after Kane agrees to the arrangement I'm gonna have to execute you for being prebonded after my son's done having his fun with you. ", Grey wolf says wolfishly.

"I see so dip wad runs in the family.", I say irritated as I open the door again and walk out towards my truck only to be slammed into it. I forget to keep my block up and I can feel Zero's anger at the pain from the force. I look and it's the red head this must be Grey Wolfs son. I head but him hard breaking his nose and I hear him gasp as blood runs down his face.

"Don't you ever touch me again creep.", I say when he lets go. I open my truck and hop in and she roars to life as I take off spitting gravel at the irritating wolf.

"Are you ok.", Zero says sounding concerned. "Ya some people just have trouble taking no for an answer.", I say back. As I drive I see a truck behind me speeding up and in is the blond girl from earlier.

I keep an eye on her in the mirror as I reach my dad's road when she speeds up and starts ramming my truck. I speed up and work on evasive driving thankful I have a roll cage.

I'm getting really mad as she dents up my truck when I reach my home I see Zero and my dad sitting on the porch as I near I pull in and park prepared to jump out but the psyco rams it with me in it making it roll. That's it I'm getting out and throwing her a beating. I try my door but she broke the handle and it won't open so I pull my knife and cut my belt as the passenger door flies off and Zero grabs me yanking me out as my truck starts to smoke.

I can sense his worry and concern and the blonde's truck has now backed up preparing another ramming but Zero scoops me up and carries me out of the way. My dad pulls up his shot gun and fires at the trucks tire making the blond flip her truck. She scrambles out and runs at me now standing by Zero as he moves in front of me his glare stopping her.

"Get out of my way I'm gonna rip her apart, or better yet Tess I challenge you to a duel right now.", yells the irate blond at me.

"Why are we dueling.", I ask as I move to stand next to Zero.

"The guy whose nose you broke is Taki-San, Grey Wolf's son and I've fought other wolves for years to make him my mate, and then they get a letter from someone that your and Alpha staying in the area and its all I'm gonna take her as a mate and be an Alpha, then it turns out you are but can't even make him an Alpha cause you're a slut, and then you had to go and bust his nose. I'm challenging you for the right to have him as my mate and mine alone.", she shouts angrily.

I raise an eyebrow at her. "Then I forfeit you can have him, and enjoy.", I say as she gets angrier.

"I don't want him given, I want to take him and I can't have you in the way the only way to prove

"But I don't wanna fight for the perv.", I say "you can keep him, I don't want him and I'm not gonna fight you to the death for someone I don't care for.", I say rolling my eyes.

"And I won't let him have her either.", says Zero suddenly catching the blond's attention as he puts an arm around me pulling me against his side suddenly and protectively and I feel myself blushing hard.

Another large truck comes down the road and Grey Wolf and Taki-San get out as my dad comes to stand next to me and Zero.

Taki-San I came challenger her for you but she refuses to accept and fight me to be your mate.", says the blond. I can sense Zero's dislike of him just as I sense the red heads lust as he looks at me and the blond.

"You can't refuse a challenge here missy.", says Grey Wolf as me and my dad share a knowing look. "As Alpha's were outside of pack politics.", my Dad says looking at him coolly as he crosses his arms. "And I don't like that you wanted to meet me to arrange an marriage with my daughter, Alpha's don't do arranged marriages either. ", We stand there in a stalemate the blond glaring at me, Zero at the red head and my dad and Grey Wolf at each other. "I need to strengthen my standing among the packs and a mating between your daughter and my son would ensure that.", says the older wolf. " however she says even though she's unwed she's already blood bonded so this would help her save face."

Me and my dad both raise our eyebrows. "My daughter doesn't need to save face, she did it with honorable intentions.", my father says.

"Your daughter needs to accept the challenge though or face punishment.", he says.

"Your not laying a hand on my daughter and it's up to her discretion to take or turn down a challenge.", My father says madly.

I can feel Zero's thoughts raging as he wants to rip them both up. My fathers eyes start to glow as he eyes Grey Wolf, get your son and this girl who wishes to be his mate and take them off my land or I will force you and show you why Alpha's are outside of the packs.", he says as I sense the other three wolves feeling the force of an Alpha's power to make them submit, due to being lesser wolves.

I enforce the submission by adding mine to the mix as my eyes glow as well.

"Very well Kane we will leave for now but this isn't over, most werewolves your daughter's age around here are already married off, and she's no different the.", shouts Grey Wolf.

"Get you nose out of my love life Grey Wolf!", I say angrily as he gets in his truck and his son gets in the one with the blond. They take off although the blond spins the tires flinging rocks at us before leaving.

Zero's p.o.v.

That creep there's no way I'll let anyone take Tess from me. Anger fills me as they talk about her as if she's a possession and I can sense the red heads lascivious intentions towards her. Not to mention I didn't like him being rough with her. When I felt the pain enter her mind from the slam into the vehicle I wanted to kill him but she handled it and came back.

I lead her inside and only sense an annoyance from her about this incident. But we go into the kitchen with her dad since her mom is out shopping. She pulls off her jacket so she's only got on a tank top as she knows I'm gonna insist looking for injuries between rolling her truck, and that creep slamming her I wanna make sure it's all ok.

She's got a few cuts on her face and some minor bruising other places and the back is still a little red. She reaches her hand over and places it to my cheek. "There I go worrying you again.", she says looking into my eyes. My Tess I can't stand the thought that someone might try to take her away from me not again, that vampire was bad enough.

"Why are so many wolves married so young.", I finally ask looking into her eyes. "Pheremones.", Tess says cocking her head but I see her redden a little.

All I can say is a confused "Hn"

"Zero when a she-wolf goes into heat it affects the other wolves around strongly, and sometimes males will try to take atvantage, while if a female has a partner or mate, the males pheremones hang around her chasing the other wolves off her. There's a shot for it but unfortunately it makes Tess so sick she's almost bedridden.", Kane pipes in.

"That's usually why I'll leave school for a week, because the vamps will pick it up too.", she says cocking her head. Being a wolf and then a Alpha thanks to Tess is so complicated. She places a hand on my arm with a gentle smile.

Later we're riding in Kane's Truck with Tess in the middle and my arm around her as Kane drives.

I wonder if he's thinking about what I am. Those wolves that wanted to force Tess in to marriage.

We arrive at the school and finish the day cuddling on the couch to a movie quietly. Her head in my lap as I ran a hand through her hair. I could hear a happy sigh from her as I felt her happiness from her mind.

Maybe sealing the deal wouldn't be so bad, it would keep other wolves away from her and she'd stay mine.
