We sat watching Armageddon together quietly, and her Minnie Mouse Jammies were cute on her. There I go again. "So what did you and Yuki talk about?", I finally asked. "Her insecurity issues, you know I'm using you, your using me. Didn't realize my cousin thought so low of me.", she says sighing.

"I'm using you?", I ask. "Ya to make her jealous, and I'm using you to get her back.", she says yawning

I nod my head annoyed. "Sometimes I don't know where she gets these crazy ideas.", I say as she giggles before shifting to a laying down spot with her head in my lap to get comfortable before grabbing the throw blanket and covering up. I feel myself blushing at the closeness. "You always smell so good for a vampire.", she says looking up at me with a smile before shifting to watch the movie.

I begin to stroke her hair again as I feel her relaxing and slow her breathing as she drifts to sleep, not wanting to leave this position I stay put until sleep claims me as well.

Whenever she's near I sleep well, as I dream about a little picnic. She's in my arms in that dress again from dinner and we're running through the fields laughing and smiling. I pull her in my arms close and I see that smile as her eyes are full of love taking my breath away. I tilt her chin up placing my lips on hers and thankfully she wraps her arms around me kissing me back. The taste of her lips is so sweet as I caress her hair.

I use my tongue to deepen the kiss as she melts into me. When I wake up I feel stiff and my heads on the couches armrest, I begin to blush when I realize Tess is curled up with my arms around her. When did we get like this I wonder. Her hair is a mess covering her face and her legs are twisted together with mine. She was close enough I could smell her blood and her light perfume. She nuzzles her face a little closer to my chest in her sleep and I swear I'm redder and can feel my heart racing. I take my free arm and move her hair out of her face as she contently rests by my side.

And I feel myself drawn to her lips but I merely kiss her forehead lightly causing her to slowly wake up.

"I wonder how we ended up like this.", she says as she suddenly turns beat red at our position. I feel myself chuckling at her face.

"I guess we better untangle so we can get ready for class.", she says shyly as we start to unwrap our legs.

As soon as she's upright I can feel my self missing having her in that spot against me. I watch as she sleepily moves a strand of hair behind her ears while yawning.

"What's your schedule?", I ask . "I supposed to meet him in the office for that, it's supposed to be depending on where he thinks I can be of most use today.", she replies "How about you?"

I look up at the clock and take note its only 7 and classes don't start till 9. "I've got a little while.", I say.

"Well how bout we get changed and meet back her for breakfast, then if we still have time before classes you can show me around before I have to meet up with my Uncle.", she says smiling sleepily. I could definitely get used to that smile in the mornings.

"Sure", I reply as I get up offering her my hand to pull her off the couch. Irun to my dorm and get a quick shower and change clothes quickly stopping to look at my table where Tess's picture sit's a moment before running back to the headmaster's house were Tess stays.

I arrive to a very awake she-wolf in uniform as music fills the room, sitting at the table with some eggs bacon and toast. And a second plate across from her. "You didn't have to make me breakfast.", I say sitting down.

"No I didn't but I wanted to.", she says smirking. We eat there her teasing me warmly in that way she has, only to stop teasing because she wants to sing along to a song here and there happily.

Come to think of it she did that back when I was visiting too. I wonder how many actually take the time to know this side of Tess.

Tess who dances when it's just us mostly, who sings along to Bonjovi, knows all the lyrics, a smile on her face and in those moments its like she hasn't a care in the world.

At the same time Yuki only said she liked music and draws, and she's a cousin in the states when she was here, but when I'd see Yuki on the phone with her she'd be laughing hard at something Tess had said.

Although now I kind of wish I'd gone on some of those out of country trips to see Tess's family, then I could of met her sooner.

She was like a missing piece that made me feel whole, when I was with her I laughed, I smiled she made me feel alive and forget I was gonna become a level-e and have to be killed someday. She made me want to keep fighting.

After breakfast she was singing to another Bonjovi song, which I learned is her favorite group, as we did up the breakfast dishes.

I couldn't help but smile as she sang along to Living on a Prayer, she wasn't restrained around me and I enjoyed that about her, my glares didn't faze her, If I tried to be cold she shrugged it off and pushed back when I tried to push her away.

Eventually we were walking around the campus which was still kind of empty because the others day class students were at breakfast. She'd left her jacket at the house so it was just the white blouse and the skirt. And she was right, her being taller than most girls her made the skirt look a little short.

But I did enjoy seeing her legs in it. But she had chosen to put a pair of short shorts on under it because she was afraid someone might see her underwear, she'd said earlier.

The tour ended way to soon as I took her to see the Headmaster since I still had time. "Tess awe your so cute in the uniform.", he says as she rolls her eyes as he tells her she'll be assisting Yagari today, to which she nods. "He'll be best considering he's a hunter and if you have to leave due to a missive from either group he won't question it." I walk her to class where Yagari is waiting outside

"Well Tess I'm glad to see you're here to help me, and yes your idiot Uncle informed me so I know if you have to leave it won't be a big deal. ", he says grinning.

"Thank you for your cooperation Sensei.", she says with a smile as they shake hands again. Before she tells me good bye and I'm off to my next class.

Tess's p.o.v.

"Ok you pinheads this is a Ms. Tess Silvermoon, she's gonna be a student teachers assistant here, so go ahead and ask your questions.", he says and this is kind of how most of the classes went.

There were a lot of questions on whether I was single or not, or why I was an aid. Eventually it became lunch time so I took the chance to head to the cafeteria for some lunch. "Hey how's your first day?", comes the voice of my favorite prefect.

I cock my head sweetly in front of the door as others walk in. "It's a little awkward, I have very little classroom experience.", I reply. "So any recommendations in the cafeteria." I ask knowing this is a new place. "The noodles are ok.", he replies.

"Then I guess noodles it is.", I say smiling as he walks in with me as I grab a tray grabbing a bowl of noodles as he does as well, I then grab a water as I look for a seat and a cute brunette I've never met waves Zero over. I follow Zero as he sits and I sit besides him.

"Yori this is my friend Tess.", he says to the girl and I smile at her offering a hand out of habit which she takes in turn. "Pleasure to meat you Tess.", she says smiling back. We sit and enjoy a short but pleasant lunch before we have to run to the gates for some stupid day class girls trying to climb the gates.

I let out a sigh before I let out a loud whistle as me and Zero approach getting there attention. "Ladies, and I use that term for you very loosely it's time to return to class.", I say pulling out my own more wolf like glare that appears vicious to them. The girls freeze at first but there's always one moron in the bunch.

"Who the heck are you and what gives you the right to stop us.", she says stopping in front of me. "Listen shorty get back to class or I will personally drag you to class and then when your sleeping I'll come in the dorm room and shave your head and spray paint moron on your head.", I say with a growl making her back off. I take a peak at Zero as he smirks at me before yelling at the girls on his side to get lost.

Eventually I'm back to class and I'm relieved to see that Zero's in this one even though I sit next to Yagari's desk.

And again the question and answer starts again.

"Do you have a boyfriend.", asks one. "That position is currently unclaimed at the moment.", I say catching Zero turning a little pink.

"So how many men have you slept with?", came another and I feel myself blushing hard.

"Seth that's sexual harassment, if I catch you speaking to her that way again I will have Zero take you to the headmaster, and if he can't I'll do it myself after I kick the crap out of you for speaking in such a disrespectful manner to her. ", says Sensei Yagari irritated and I can see a very red Zero thinking the same thing.

Then the scent hits me as I look in the direction of the creep Yagari's yelling at and I realize Seth isn't human. His scent says it all he's a werewolf, and do to this areas inexperience with our kind I have a feeling no one else knows he is either.

He is brown haired and blue eyed as he stares at me lustfully despite the icy glare I give him.

The rest of class goes quietly and I sit by Yagari's desk as the class exits Zero waiting till last as Seth comes up to me.

"Come on baby I know you got a wild side, I just wanna experience it myself.", he says as I smell his arousal hormones as he puts his leg on my thigh as I narrow my eyes at him in an icy glare that may rival the worst Zero's given.

I take my hand and back hand him knocking him back a little. "Listen you sleezeball you lay a hand on me again and I promise getting taken to the headmasters office will be the least of your problems.", I say as other students pass by.

"Come on baby we can play Twilight and I can be your Jacob.", he says walking towards me again as I roll my eyes only to have a hand pull him back. I look up and give Zero a thankful smile.

"You were told to leave the lady be.", says Zero angrily " Now I'm going to escort you to the Headmaster's office." he says grabbing him and dragging him by the shoulder.

"Come on do it's bro's before ho's.", he says as I walk with them to the office. "You call her one more thing and I'll bust your lip open and tell the Headmaster you slipped.", Zero says angrily.

I can sense his protective instinct kicking in as well. After a trip to my uncle's office Seth is suspended and given extra work around school grounds.

When Seth leaves I can smell another odor. The vampire that bit me's scent is all over him faintly. To faint for a vampire to detect even but a trained Alpha wolf is another thing all together. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on him.

Later it's time for the change over and luckily we get everyone lined up within a reasonable amount of time, for the night class to come out. I pull out my smile for my friends in the night class and so Yuki doesn't think there are any hard feelings. Yuki and Kaname stop at me and I give a little wave before I hug Yuki to everyone's surprise.

"Good morning cuz!", I say happily as I pull back and hug a startled Kaname too. "Morning cuz's bo.", I say loudly before saying quietly. "We need to talk later.', in my serious quiet tone low enough only he can hear and as I pull back he nods in understanding before he pulls a still shocked Yuki along with him as other night class members walk by. "Tess-chan, it's good to see you.", says Ichijou as he gives me five as the day class girls are getting ticked at me. Aido actually stops and hugs me "They are so gonna bully you.", he says as he fails to notice that I've made his pants fall down so all the girls are swooning at his heart boxers. He drops me blushing as he pulls his pants up as Ruka and Kain have to suppress a smile as I give them a thumbs up and a grin.

Rima walks by and her and Shiki offer me some Pocky and Siren even waves a little bit.

When the crossover's done and the day girls are done it's time for my first patrol to start soon after dinner. Zero comes to stand by me and I smile at him. "looks like I accidentally alienated all the fan girls.", I say as Zero chuckles. We walk to the house to meet with the headmaster and get some supper.

We grab a quick sandwich and go to talk to my uncle as he gives his coexistence speech much to Zero's annoyance. Before long were on patrol. Eventually were passing were the night classes are in session as I smell Kaname come out.

"Ms. Silvermoon, may I have a word with you?", he says as I nod. "Zero I'll only be a few then I'll catch up to you.", I say to a reluctant prefect who agrees and goes on.

"You said you wanted to speak with me.", he says as I nod. "I found a werewolf in the day class that smells like he's been spending to much time chilling with the Vampire that ok'd the kidnapping of Juri.", I say as his eyes narrow. "He goes by Seth Grey, It would be a good idea if you kept your guard up.", I say. "Thank you Tess, although I don't know your motives for helping me...", he begins his spiel.

"Kaname I have very few motives, Juri is Yuki's child and Yuki is always going to be my cousin so by extension Juri is family. ", I state "Second Zero and My Uncle care for Yuki greatly and Yuki being hurt or distraught would hurt them and I don't want either of them hurt either"

I look him in his eyes as he masks his contemplation. "I see, and I'm grateful that it's a pure motive that causes you to look out for us.", he says.

"So then how is your search for a mate Tess, I understand your breed of wolf has a unique method of finding mates.", he asks as I get ready to walk away.

"So you know what kind of wolf I am aye, then it's best you not concern yourself with how I go about getting a mate." I say

Zero's p.o.v.

Tess is taking to long for my liking with Kaname and I walk up the hallway slowly as he asks Tess about finding a mate.

"So you know what kind of wolf I am aye, then it's best you not concern yourself with how I go about getting a mate.", she says.

"Then what are you doing toying with Zero, he's Yuki's shield, and your playing with him instead of finding a proper Lycan for your mate.", Kaname says as I swear I catch the flash of anger in her eyes.

"I don't play with people and there emotions Kuran, Zero is no toy to me and I'll do everything in my power to protect Yuki and Juri because there family, but understand this Kaname, I won't sit by and watch you use Zero as a pawn anymore. He means too much to me", she says And I can feel my heart jump at the last part.

She removes his hand "And I have no intention of finding a proper lycan mate, if I'm gonna be stuck bonded to my mate till I die then I want more than an arranged marriage or to settle. " she walks away as Kaname stares at her as she walks away.

"Now you've gone and done it Kuran, you've ticked Tess off, why are you so concerned with her love life.", I ask stepping closer.

"I was merely suggesting she go find herself a nice wolf.", says the pureblood making me feel angry.

"Stay away from her Kuran and out of her relationships.", I say walking away after her.
