Darkness' POV

I was awoken by the sound of cranking and I folded my wings against my back and stood to see that I was in the stupid arena again and I smelled the scent of the bird-humans girl leader. I looked around and I didn't see her here at all, and then a Eraser stepped up and I was confused. He smelled like her, but didn't. I could tell he was still good, but he didn't look like it, and yet that scent of Sunflowers stuck to him like a perfume. It really, really confused me, I had memorized every scent in the room with the other six, but this one. 

"Who are you" I asked stalling a little as I separated things, and it...he chuckled.

"My name is Ari, and I am Max's sister" he said the last part like he was trying to convince himself, and I understood why he smelled so familiar, but I went to the next topic. Immobilizing him and making it look like I killed him, but how. I guessed that I would have to use telepathy now. I shot forward making sure I could be seen by both the cameras and him, and I spoke. 

Fight but don't do damage I said and rammed into him and think as talking I will hear it, otherwise act like an actual fight. I said as we flew into the air and slammed into a wall the dust covering us for a second and I guessed three minutes of cover. 

What are you doing he said and I smiled 

I am trying to save your sister, and get something back while getting revenge at the same time I said are you in? he growled in agreement 

Good, but we still have to make it look like we are fighting while we talk, and I'll make you look stronger by holding back, even if I hate every second of it got it again he growled in agreement and I punched him in the stomach and we were a flurry of strikes, biting, and growled when really we were having a conversation in our heads:

Why are you helping us he asked and I smiled

Because your sister and her friends and lover are people that I could trust, as well as you in time I said but I also want to get back something that was stolen from me and tear apart the one that stole it from me, but as of currently she is untouchable. 

Why he asked and I twitched slightly in anger, but he noticed it. 

She has a certain item of mine that prevents me from getting within three feet from her, and I can't harm her by any other means because even with a dead body I can't touch my sacred item unless given to me by another I explained best I could and he seemed to slightly understand because he growled in understanding I need to get it back and then tear her apart for taking it from me and using it against me. 

What are we looking for and on who he asked and I growled in annoyance

The lady that ordered you to come in her, the lady in charge of this whole thing, and she has a necklace with a stone on it that I need back I said and he laughed making me angry and I got in a couple extra scratched making him growl in pain and frustration yes it may seem stupid but that stone holds my being and should it be destroyed without a certain item to go down along with it then I would have to scavenge the world for stones like it and destroy those as well (*forshadowing*...maybe) and that would take too long for my patience. 

Fine I'll help you but you have to promise that after this whole epidemic passes I get big and ugly that is guarding her at all times, and you have to come and protect me, my sister, and the Flock for the rest of your life, got it he said and I nodded

This will hurt I said and his eyes widened, but I was too fast and I got in his guard and punched in his chest puncturing a lung and I punched his throat in making him fall to the ground and writhe in pain before going still 'dead'. 

Stay still I said and made an illusion to make it seem like he had died, but really I healed his throat and chest with a thought and as soon as his body went still I locked on the illusion and it seems to have worked because his body was swallowed by the ground and out of sight. I went back to my cage and they brought me back up without a word, the hard thing was trying to keep it a secret from the others, especially if the leader of the group in the same room as me is Ari's brother. As soon as I looked up I saw an Eraser taking the TV out of the room and I saw the one with the black and white feathers crying in the corner of her cell with the others glaring at me and trying to calm her. 

I sat in the darkness and closed my eyes biding my time as Ari recovered and then waited till the night to steal the stone, return here, give it to me, and after I destroy the stone and the contract. Me turning this place into a mess of rubble and bodies...after letting Ari and the Flock escape of coarse.
