I've been running nonstop for three weeks now, and I don't have Riptide anymore, but that was to be explained later. I had the lone arrow-head that I took out from my leg a couple weeks ago. It still had dried blood on it from when I first ran, and I didn't bother to wash it off in a nearby steam, lake, or river because it was a reminder of what happened to me that one day. That very same day after I had lost the hunters, I had ran into the Minotaur and I found a note in my pocket instead of my trusty sword Riptide saying; As a traitor of Olympus and the Roman world, you don't deserve to have such a meaningful weapon. I have taken it back and placed it in the sky with it's original owner, as I have taken my bond with you and Grover, and my bond as your father. Goodbye Perseus. Run, run and never stop.

So anyways after I found that I had to use the arrow that I had and I was actually pretty good with it after learning how to use the tip to stab and cut. Then finish by slitting the throat, stabbing the eye, or heart, and/or snapping the neck and picking it back up from the dust remaining. It's also how I learned how to throw something sharp correctly and accurately, and I first practiced on rabbits and squirrels, then hogs, and then white-tailed deer. Due to a certain kind of deer being the sacred animal of a certain huntress and her group of huntress' that now despised and hunted me. I heard a growl to my left and I saw a wolf-man, not a werewolf, but a wolf-man. They stood up like a man, didn't look like Lycaon at all, but they were six and a half, seven feet tall. I huffed and threw the arrow into it's head, and he crumpled to the ground dead. I dropped form the tree and ripped the arrow out of it's head which was fur covered, wolf-like, and red stained...another reason they weren't monsters.
This time I actually use water to wash of the head, but I didn't let the water splash anything else. I looked around to see if any more of those creatures, or huntress' were around, and when I didn't I gripped the silver arrow harder and ran towards the opening in the forest. I thought that it was a plain, but as I got up to it, I heard yelling, screams of anger and pain. The smell of blood, and monster dust created a cloud of dust covering the area from viewin the pit. I saw flashes of silver flying through the air and glints of daggers in the cloud below and I huffed. Of coarse the huntress' would be here, after all it's a giant gathering of monsters.
I sped down into the cloud and as I entered it I used the vapor in the air to distinguish where the monsters were and where the hunters were. I saw a couple already dead on the ground and as I stabbed and slashed unseen at monsters I counted three-no four bodies and ten more hurt lying on the ground. I made my way over to them and picked each one up once I cleared the area of monsters. I lay them in a safe area behind a large rock, and I covered their scents as I killed monsters, saved more, and then I finished the last monster. All the injured huntress' were safe, and I gripped the arrow with caution. I couldn't feel the last one, but it was very powerful. I could also feel Artemis coming up on it as well, but I didn't want to endanger her. I quietly rolled under it and slashed at it's left leg only for the arrow-head to go right through like they didn't exist. Then I felt something strong hold me down and cover my mouth, and I bite the hand making them growl in pain but they didn't let go. I tried to stab them with the arrow but they just pushed my hand away every time before I felt a splitting pain hit my head and I was cast into unconsciousness...awesome.
Artemis' POV
I stalked up to the presence that I felt and then I felt another one engage it, but the original one didn't move at all. Then I heard a struggle and I rushed up to see a silver arrow with a red blood-stained shaft on the ground with no one in sight. The presences that I felt seemed to mysteriously disappear as well. The dust cleared and I looked around to see that I had five hunters fine without any injuries. Another five lay dead on the ground, but there were ten groaning in pain all in one area like someone brought them there. I rushed up to them while Thalia, Atlanta, Phoebe, Alexa, and Lexie picked up their sisters and put them in a pyre. They were set on fire already by the time I got to my injured hunters and a couple seconds later as I looked them over to see that they only had bruises, and some major cuts, all easily healable.
"Girls who else was here with us" I asked and they looked shocked, and I turned to face them as Lexie healed her sisters.
"What do you mean" Thalia asked "we were the only ones here that I knew of"
"Then who put your sisters in a big pile away from danger" I asked and again with the confusion.
"I-I dont--" Thalia started and then Carly stood and spoke up making us all face her
"I know" she said "I don't know why, but a male helped us, he picked me up and put me here, and then I saw him come over with each of our sisters and leave them here. Then he went back and every time he left all I heard was the screams of monsters as they died by his hand" I was very confused now, and so were the girls.
"Why would a male help us, much less save us" Alexa asked and I shook my head in confusion.
"I don't know, but when I find him I guess that I have an apology to serve, as well as ten arrows for touching ten of my hunters" I hissed in annoyance, but I was thankful towards the mysterious savior as well.
Thanks for reading and I'll have the next chapter out soon.
