It was a calm yet busy evening in Owl House as all of its residents were sitting in the den but not talking to each other. Each of them was dealing with their own separate problems and wanted to be left alone to do so...until a certain house demon came in.

"Good evening, my dear friends!" He said, opening his door.

Everyone was in the couches with Luz looking at her echo mouse, Jerry, in his terrarium while Eda was looking through various scrolls and books and King was watching the crystal ball.

"Hey, keep it DOWN!" King said as his voice suddenly cracked, getting higher yet also lower. "Ugh, I am getting tired of this happening!"

"Oh don't be mad, King. It's just a little demon puberty." Hooty said, stretching towards him. "You're growing up from a little baby demon to a big de-MAN!"

"Ugh! Don't say it like that! That sounds wrong coming from someone like YOU!" King said before his voice cracked again. "YAAAH! I hate puberty!"

King jumped off the couch and left, leaving Hooty to check on Eda as she was face deep in a scroll.

"Teenagers, am I right? Their moods can change at the tip of the hat." Hooty said, stretching to Eda.

The older witch put the scroll down, revealing Eda had bloodshot eyes, clothespins above her eyes to hold them open massive bags under her eyes, and her air was a frazzled mess!

"OH TITAN!" Hooty screamed in horror.

"Oh Titan is right, Hooty! We're on the clock to stop whatever Belos is planning and I'm as weak as a newborn witch! Even with this cool glove!" Eda said, looking to him before scrunching up her scroll. "If I'm gonna be able to protect you guys, I gotta put in more work than I've ever done in my life! No breaks!"

Eda gathered her things as stood up as Hooty winced a bit.

"But doesn't overworking yourself turn you into the owl beast?" Hooty asked with concern.

"I'll deal with it! No breaks, no rests, not even using the bathroom!" Eda shouted before pulling out an airhorn, blowing it!

The sound made Hooty and Luz flinch as Eda walked off with her scrolls and books.

"Yikes, that doesn't seem like it will end well, right Luz?" Hooty asked but got no response. "Luz?"

"Huh? You say something?" Luz asked, looking up from the echo mouse.

"You've been staring at that mouse for a while now? Are you having trouble with the journal?" Hooty asked.

"No, no. I'm fine on that I just...have something else on my mind." Luz said, looking away.

"Does it have anything to do with Amity?" Hooty asked, concerned.

"Yes...but I don't want to talk about it." Luz said as she picked up the terrarium. "I'll be in my room with Jerry. Don't disturb us, okay?"

Luz walked away as Hooty watched her leave, concerned about not just her problem but about Eda's and King's problems too.

'Hmm, maybe I can help them.' He thought, slowly grinning widely.

They are his friends and he was the owl house, it should be his job to take care of them and hell them with their problems. Whether they liked it or not.

Stretching over to where King went, Hooty peaked in to see King sitting at the table with various books on demon and demon biology in front of him.

'So King is curious about what he is exactly. Maybe if I teach him a bit more about demons to help.' Hooty thought as he slithered low and silently towards King.

"Maybe if I read one of these, I can find out what I am and why my voice keeps CRACKING! UGH!" King said with a small crack and a groan.

As he opened the book, Hooty struck, rising up and opening his mouth, before swallowing the young demon.

"Now just to keep him in my first stomach while I get everything set up!" Hooty said.

Stretching off as fast as he could, Hooty rushed to the tower next to the owl house that was just used for storage. Though; it was big enough for Luz to have as her room if Eda or any of them remembered at the time.

'Focus on today's problem, Hooty. Focus on today's problem.' Hooty thought.

He grabbed the chalkboard, covered by a sheet, and pulled it into the room, along with books, and several other things... why they just so happen to have a needle that big just lying around, he will never understand.

"Alright, everything is done. Now to bring out King." Hooty said before he began to gag, trying to make himself throw up and get King out of his stomach. "Good thing I'm an owl worm and I don't digest things immediately! That's what stomach number 33 is for!"

He threw up a large owl pellet. The pellet began to break open and a... very traumatized King came out.

"Hooty! Did you pellet me!?" King shouted as he stood up.

He looked around and saw he was in a dark room, unable to see exactly where he was.

"Are you confused? Do you seek answers of your own bodily nature?!" Hooty shouted from the darkness.

King crossed his tiny arms as Hooty turned on the light.

"Well look no further!" Hooty shouted, revealing the room and the covered chalkboard. "Welcome to Demons 101!

Hooty grabbed the sheet with his beak and pulled it off the board.

"Demon what?" King asked surprised by this.

"Demon 101, the class that will help you learn about yourself and other demons. Especially during this time when you are currently experiencing demon puberty!" Hooty said with a grin, glad to be able to help.

"I... don't know." King said, unsure of this.

"Come on, what do you have to lose?" Hooty asked.

Looking back and forth between Hooty and the chalkboard, it made King realize that he was right in some way. Hooty was a lot older than King and possibly knew more about demon biology than King or any of the books in the house.

"I....guess we could try it." King said, shrugging a bit. "But don't be weird."

"YES! You won't regret this, King!" Hooty said before reaching over and grabbing a beret/mortarboard, wearing it like a teaching cap.

He then grabbed a piece of chalk and began to draw.

"Now, for starters, there are three types of demons. Bug, Biped, and Beast." Hooty said.

"Hooty, everybody knows about the three B's." King said as he rolled his eyes.

Hooty was suddenly in King's face.

"NO INTERRUPTING!" Hooty screamed before going back to the chalkboard, "Now, I'm pretty sure you're not a bug, but we can't rule anything out. Being a worm myself, I am an expert on the subject."

To show his point, Hooty wiggles in front of King, disturbing him as he covered his mount to stop from vomiting.

"Okay, okay! I get it, please stop!" King said, looking away.

Hooty stopped and picked up King, pulling him over to somewhere else before he called over two bug demons to demonstrate his point. A fairy and a two faced bug with butterfly wings.

"As you must know, Bug demons communicate through the ancient and beautiful art of dance." Hooty said, nodding to the bug demons.

The two turned to each other and began to dance. A mix of fluttering, elegance, and a little booty shaking was enough to bring Hooty to tears as he nodded proudly to them.

"Poetry, pure poetry." He said as the bug demons bowed to him. "Thank you both. Really. Now, it's your turn King but first."

A few minutes later, King was now wearing a pink shirt with musical notes on it and black shorts.

"Do I have to wear these?" King asked.

"Yes. It will help you embrace your inner dance. Now, do whatever feels natural." Hooty said.

King began to do a little dance... which apparently was offensive as the three bug demons look horrified... and Hooty then looked mad.

"DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT MY MOTHER LIKE THAT!" He shouted before he lunged at King!

"AAAAAH!" King screamed as he ran away!

'What did I say?!' King thought.

A couple minutes later, Hooty settled down.

While King is breathing heavy from the running and his fur was ruffled and a dent was in his right horn, which Hooty caused.

"Okay, while your dance was offensive, we a rule out that you're not a bug type demon." Hooty said before grimacing. "Especially since the cocoon spinning failed."

"Can we not talk about that?" King asked quickly, looking away and holding his tail.

"Let's just move in to the next type B demon, Biped!" Hooty said as he moved in front of a board titled "Biped."

It features a few pictures of known Biped demons such as Eileen Hexside, the girl with a moon head, Tibbles and Warden Wrath.

"Now Bipeds can walk on two legs and even have bile sacs, just like witches! So for this test, you're gonna have a duel with a little friend of mine." Hooty said, moving to a box and lifting it up.

It revealed Tiny Nose, playing on a handheld game Eda had, and mindlessly walking forward.

"Her? Pfft, Easy." King said, feeling confident. "I've been learning some kickboxing from Luz and I that is more than enough to handle this tiny woman."

"We'll see." Hooty said before he rang a bell.

Suddenly, Tiny Nose let out a blood curdling scream and made a spell circle, firing a spell so powerful that it knocked her back and hit King.

"AAAAAAH!" King screamed before-

BOOM!

An explosion rocked the tower, leaving King in a black, sought covered spot on the floor.

"Oooooh, I think you used too much magic." Hooty said with a wince.

"Probably but he deserved it." Tiny Nose said before going back to the game.

Hooty was pretty sure Biped was ruled out after that. After helping King up and patching him up a bit, Hooty was before him and the board once more.

"Okay, so you're not a Biped but that just leaves one type left and I think that's your type for sure. Beast." Hooty said to him.

"Okay, so....what do I have to do this time?" King asked, somewhat preparing himself for more PAIN.

"This one will be easy, we just need a little blood to run a test." Hooty said.

And thus, Tiny Nose came out with the surgical needle, which was larger than her.

"Uh...." King let out in slight shock.

"Don't worry, I'm a professional. I graduated from Medical School top of class." Tiny Nose said, approaching King. "Now hold still, this won't hurt a bit."

'Wait, we don't have a medical school.' King thought before being impaled in the arm.

"AAAHHHHH!" He screamed in pain, echoing through the forest but not the house.

While they wait for the results, Hooty decided to help one of the others.

Like a certain wanted witch that refused to sleep, in her room and pacing back and forth as she tried thinking of a plan to stop Belos. Hooty had a plan, and it involved his secret baking talent.

"Alright. Flour, eggs, butter, some chocolate chips, powdered sugar...Just need one more thing." Hooty said while wearing a chef's hat.

Looking to a special plant in the corner, Hooty stretched over and grabbed a flower before throwing it into the bowl.

"Now I can start working my magic!" Hooty said happily, grabbing the other ingredients and adding them to the bowl CAREFULLY.

He put them in the oven, and while he waited, he thought about how to help Luz.

'Hmmm, Luz seems to be worried about something with Amity. Did they have a fight? Or is it something else?' Hooty thought, not wanting Luz's relationship to take a bad turn.

'Maybe it has to do with her holding secrets.' Hooty thought, 'Oh, her belt.'

On the coat rack was a familiar yellow belt that Luz owned. Her special "multiverse travel belt" that she never told anyone about.

'Hm, she shouldn't have left this here, I'll go bring it to her!' Hooty thought, grabbing the belt and going up to Luz's room.

Just when he got to the outside of Luz's room, he heard her talking to Jerry.

"Ugh, what am I going to do if I figure this out?" Luz asked the mouse, "What will my... our future... be like if I make a portal? Will we still be together? Will I move here, will Amity move to earth... what if... what if it's only one way?"

Jerry just chittered as if to give his opinion like Luz could understand him, making her groan in the process.

"I just... I don't know what to do, I want to ask Amity about it, but I'm too worried that I'll hurt her by bringing it up!" Luz said to Jerry.

That gave Hooty an idea. He carefully put the belt down and pushed it into her room without Luz seeing him.

'First, I'll check on my cookies, then check on King, and THEN head out for someone special.' Hooty thought.

He went back and got the cookies out of the oven.

'Done!' Hooty thought, using a kitchen towel to protect his beak to pull out the tray.

Each cookie was baked to perfection and all of them had his lovable face, a true work of art in the form of baked goods.

"Now I just gotta get these to Eda." Hooty said, placing the cookies on the counter.

He then began to write a note.

"A reward for all your hard work! Love, Hooty. Perfect." Hooty said to the note, placing it near a tray as he began to set up the cookies on a plate and pour a glass of milk. "Nobody of any age can resist fresh cookies and milk."

He grabbed the tray and moved to place them outside Eda's door on a stool. He knocked on the door and slid down the hall.

"Huh? Who is it?" Eda asked, looking around before noticing the tray.

Eda picked it up and read the note, smiling as she looked at the cookies.

"Aaah, Hooty. Once again, you are the kindest parasite I know." Eda said, picking up a cookie and taking a bite. "Mmm, dang these are good. That demon has skill."

That's when Eda noticed something... off... about them.

'I taste chocolate but also something else.' Eda thought, looking closer at the cookie she bit.

She noticed a strange sparkle in the cookie, pinching it out and rubbing it between her fingers as "ZZZZZZZs" came from the sparkles!

"Sleeping nettles?!" Eda shouted in shock.

"Yep, one bite will put you to sleep for hours!" Hooty said, bursting through the floor.

"Hooty!" Eda shouted in anger.

"No need to thank me!" Hooty said.

"Hooty, you idiot! Sleeping Nettles don't just make you sleep, they enhance your dreams!" Eda shouted, throwing the cookie away. "You need to make sure I don't fall asleep!"

Suddenly, Hooty fell over. Eda looked down and saw Hooty laying on the ground, not connected to anything.

"Yep, one bite will put you to sleep for hours... for hours... for hours!" "Hooty" said, repeating.

Eda rubbed her head.

"Somehow dream Hooty is more annoying than normal Hooty." She muttered.

A growl was heard, making Eda turn and place a hand on her glyph glove as she was ready for a fight.

"Actually. This could be a GOOD thing." Eda said, glaring.

Outside of the dream, Eda was lying face down on the ground and snoring loudly.

"Perfect! Sleep tight, Eda, and be well rested when you wake up!" Hooty said with pride before he went back to check on King.

And to check on the results of the blood test, which Tiny Nose was doing with a chemistry set.

"So, doctor, where is our demon to be and what's the prognosis?" Hooty asked.

"He's resting in the corner." Tiny Nose said, pointing towards King. "As for the results, they're just about done."

"Great! How are they looking?" Hooty asked the "medical professional."

"They look....."Tiny Nose said, swirling a beaker around as the color changed from blue to white. "Oh dear."

"What? Is that a good "oh dear?" Or a bad "oh dear?"" Hooty asked.

"More of a... unknown "Oh Dear."" Tiny Nose said, placing the beaker down.

"What!?" Hooty asked in shock.

"I'm sorry but the results are inconclusive. He's not a beast type demon." Tiny Nose said to Hooty.

"B-But what am I gonna tell him? This was suppose to help him but it might make things worse!" Hooty said, trying not to panic.

Tapping her nose, Tiny Nose suddenly had an idea.

"I think I have a way to break the news." She said as she began whispering into Hooty's ear hole.

A few seconds and facial changes later, Hooty smiled again.

"Oh, I like that!" Hooty said.

Hooty had so much to set up and very little time to do it since Eda could wake up at any moment, not to mention Luz's problem had yet to begun to be solved with his help.

"Okay, you set everything up, I have to go pick someone up for Luz!" Hooty said.

Tiny Nose nodded as she got up and rushed to get to work, leaving Hooty to retracted out of the tower and stretched out towards Blight Manor.

Amity was talking with the twins in her room, unsuspecting of the fact that she was about to be vored.

"So, how are you and Luz doing?" Emira asked.

"Yeah, any date plans?" Edric asked.

"Well, I do have a plan to-"

Suddenly, Hooty burst into the window and swallowed Amity in one gulp, horrifying the twins.

"Mmm, she taste like strawberries!" Hooty said, before leaving.

The twins just stood there, shocked, horrified, and then passed out.

'All according to plan!' Hooty thought as he reverse stretched back to the owl house!

He went into the Owl House and looked at Eda, still unconscious. That was good, as it gave him time to pellet Amity. It would take at least another 20 minutes before he could let her out.

"Now to check in Tiny Nose, hopefully she works fast." Hooty said.

Hooty went the tower roof, and was amazed. The place was very well decorated, and there was even a crumble or cake... hopefully Amity wouldn't mind if he had some.

"Perfect! Now we just need King!" Hooty said with a smile.

"I'll go get him." Tiny Nose said.

"Everything is going to-OHMF!" Hooty said as Amity punched one of his 58 lungs.

"LET ME OUT, YOU FUCKING MONSTER!" Amity shouted as she kept punching Hooty's insides!

"HURH! I might need to pellet her early! HURH!" Hooty said, trying not to vomit!

Before he could, he had to check on Eda real quick.

So, Hooty stretched back down to where Eda was left and saw she was still sleeping without a care in the world.

'Still resting, good job Hooty!' Hooty thought to himself with a smile.

Hooty went down to the basement, yet another place Luz could've had as a bigger room, and proceeded to vomit up what could only be described as an angry cat inside of a duffle bag. He looked at the pellet and saw that it was struggling.

"Hm, she'll break out if she keeps that up." Hooty muttered to himself.

He went away and came back with the perfect solution... a baseball bat... he did exactly what you think he did. A few minutes later, he was getting ready to give King the results.

He quickly stretched to the roof of the tower, finding everything set up as Tiny Nose was leading a blindfolded King to the top.

"Ready." She whispered, looking at Hooty.

"Ready!" Hooty screamed on joy.

"Ready for what?" King asked, unable to see.

"We're ready to give you your results!" Hooty said.

"Really?! Yes! I can finally know what I am!" King said, excited.

"I think you're going to be surprised!" Hooty said, getting the results.

King took off the blindfold and looked up, seeing a banner that gave the results for him.

You are a King!.....what?

"TADA!" Hooty shouted happily, wearing a party hat. "You're you!"

"Weh?" King asked, confused.

"Personally, I KNOW you're a beast type demon but the blood test was inconclusive, but it doesn't matter what you are. What matters is WHO you are!" Hooty said, smiling at King. "Our friend!"

"Hooray!" Tiny Node cheered, holding a cake that looked like King.

Though instead of being happy like Hooty thought, King was angry and made a frustrated noise.

"Are you serious!?" He shouted, his voice still cracking.

Surprised by this, Hooty quickly tried to make things good.

"Very but it's okay, King." Hooty said, moving closer but King pushed him away.

"No! No hugs! I needed this, I needed answers to know where I came from! To learn more about my dad!" King shouted at him before his voice broke again. ""I... I want to know who I am."

King looked sad, tears building up as he dejectedly kicked a balloon.

"King, I know who you are." Hooty said, becoming sad.

"NO, YOU DON'T! Even I don't know who I am and it's all dad's fault!" King shouted, kicking another ballon.

"King." Hooty said but he didn't listen.

"I don't have any responses to my video yet. Or my wanted posters. Maybe my dad is gone. Maybe there's no one else like me. And I'll live my whole life without any answers!" King said, crying greatly as he grabbed his skull. "He left me... all... ALONE!"

When he shouted, he let out a soundwave that popped all the balloons and destroyed the cake.

Hooty was knocked back as well, falling to the floor as he was surprised and horrified by how his plan turned out. On how he failed to help King feel better.

"What-What was that?" King asked, his voice no longer cracking and a little deeper.

'What just happened?' King thought, very confused.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I-I just wanted you to be happy and hopeful but I just mad you feel worse." Hooty said, looking down sadly.

"Everything isn't so bad. We still have the cake." Tiny Nose said, walking up with an exploded came and some on her face.

Hooty just left, not in the mood for cake. He figured he would get Luz set up on her problem, first things first was to get her into the basement.

"Hooty, wait!" King called out to him but Hooty kept leaving.

'I messed up with one friend but I can still help my other ones!' Hooty thought.

He made a note to Luz and then knocked on her door. Luz was so on edge that she kicked the door down in response with her metal leg.

"WHAT!?" She shouted.

Luz looked around and saw nobody at the doorway, looking at the destroyed remains of her door and seeing a note in the pile.

"All that for a fucking slip of paper?" Luz asked, huffing and rolled her eyes as she walked to the door and picking up the paper.

She looked at it and read it quickly, thinking of only one thing.

"... When did we get a fucking basement?" Luz asked bluntly.

And how has that not been my room instead of this walk in closet?' Luz thought, still aggravated by this news.

Putting the note on her pocket, Luz went downstairs TO THE BASEMENT and saw a giant owl pellet.

"Ugh... and I thought seeing Odalia with her brains spilling out in Kure Luz's dimension was disgusting." Luz said, shaking her head.

The pellet began moving, putting her on edge as she put her fists up. A crack appeared before a hand punched through it!

"I am going to kill that bird tube!" Amity shouted before ripping herself out, breathing deeply.

"Amity?!" Luz said in shock.

"Luz?!" Amity said, looking at her girlfriend.

"What are you doing here?" Luz asked, helping Amity up.

"That damn bird swallowed me and held me in his stomach for thirty fucking minutes!" Amity said, pointing to her neck. "Horrible fact! He has teeth... in his neck!"

"Hooty kidnapped you?!" Luz asked.

"Please, I'd rather of been kidnapped over what he did!" Amity said as she shivered, the memory of being eaten would haunt her for a long time.

"Well, if you're okay enough, let's get out of here." Luz said before the basement door shut. "The door shut, didn't it?"

Amity simply nodded. Luz went up the stairs and tried to use her metal enhanced leg to try and kick it down...but Hooty was prepared for that and had the door reinforced.

"Ugh!" Luz grunts as she kept kicking the door. "Goddamn, motherfucking shit, HOOTY!"

'What is the fucking point of locking us down here!?' Luz thought as Amity watched her kick.

After the 7th kick, a light cut on in the basement and blinded the duo a bit.

"Luz, was that you?" Amity asked, covering her eyes

"Uh... no." Luz said, covering her eyes as well.

They both blinked slowly to fix their eyes before looking towards the source, finding a romantic dinner set up with scented candles?!

'Hooty set up a date for us?!' Luz and Amity thought.

This was a strange thing... even for him.

"Um.....should we- you know?" Amity said, gesturing to the dinner.

"I....Guess but let's not eat anything. We don't know if it's edible." Luz said as they walked to the table.

Getting closer, they saw name tags in their spots and a note for Luz in her spot.

'Oh, what the fuck are you doing Hooty?' She thought.

Luz grabbed the note and reads it silently.

'I heard that you we'd having trouble with your future and Amity, so I thought having this romantic setting with just the two of you would help. You're welcome.

'I'm killing him when this is over.' Luz thought.

Luz crushed the note and threw it away, rubbing her forehead as Amity sat down and checked what the "dish" was under the covered tray.

'Please don't be gross, I actually am hungry.' Amity thought as she lifted it up.

It was steak... it actually smelt and looked good.

"Uh, okay, this doesn't look that bad." Amity said, right before her stomach growled.

"Yeah but-" Luz's stomach growling cut her off, making her blush as she held her stomach.

'Shit, I spent so much time pondering on what to say to Amity, that I didn't eat.' Luz thought.

Luz sat in her chair as she put the note in her pocket.

"Of all the things I expected tonight, a steak dinner was NOT one of them." Luz said, grabbing a chilled drink and looking at the label. "Sparkling non-alcoholic Apple Blood too?"

"It ALMOST makes up for that monster eating me. ALMOST." Amity said with a dangerous glint in her eyes. "But we can talk about that later."

"Yeah... later." Luz said, glancing away a bit. "But there is something I wanted to talk about."

"Okay." Amity said, "You can always talk to me, you know that."

"I know but this.....this subject is kind of touchy." Luz said as she opened the bottle and poured some apple blood for her and Amity.

Hooty watched and smiled, seeing them enjoy themeselves.

'I think I can leave these two alone to talk! I better go see how Eda is doing, she might be awake by now.' Hooty thought, stretching out in secret.

He returned to the hall... and saw something horrible... Eda's body was contorting, changing, feathers grew out of her... but not in the normal way.

These feathers weren't gray, dark or light, but instead they were black and red.

Different feathers? Is the at bad?' Hooty thought, worrying as he continued to watch.

Sharp claws began for form, and large wings grew from her back. Her bones popped out of place and realigned in different ways, making Hooty flinch at how LOUD the popping was.

Suddenly, Eda stood up, easily reaching at least nine feet tall.

"Ugh, my head, Hooty when I get my claws on you I..." Eda stopped when she looked down and saw actual CLAWS instead of nails. "Woah, what... what happened to me?"

Eda looked around before seeing a picture frame, moving to look at her reflect and gasping in awe!

"Holy Titan!" She said, moving back and looking over her new body.

"I made it worse... I MADE IT WORSE!" Hooty said, stretching away from Eda while yelling about how he made it worse.

"Hooty, wait!" Eda said, wanting to go after him... but stopping to admire herself in the mirror, "Damn... I look hot!"

Admiring herself for a few more seconds, Eda then rushed off to find her house demon to say "thank you"...for once.

Back in the basement, it was... awkward... to say the least. Amity had been trying to get Luz to talk about what was wrong, but Luz kept changing the subject.

"Hey, so, random questions, if you ever had a kid, what would you name them?" Luz asked, taking a sip of her drink.

Amity blushed a bit, imagining her and Luz as proud parents with their own house in the future.

"Well, I've always found the name Catrina to be nice." Amity said with a small grin.

Luz started choking on her drink upon hearing the name, which caused Amity to worry.

"Luz, are you okay!?" She asked.

"Yeah, I *Cough* I'm fine!" Luz said, smacking her chest with her fist to get it to go down, "Better than fine actually... you know this entire dinner thing was pretty crazy, don't you think?"

"Yeah, you don't need to remind me. It's even crazier than that dinner that went wrong because of Edric's prank." Amity said, eating some more of her steak. "But that's a story for another day."

"I'll hold you to that." Luz said with a nod.

After another minute of silence and eating, Amity decided to cut through the fake conversations and just get it out.

"What's going on, Luz?" Amity asked.

"W-w-what do you mean?" Luz asked.

"Luz, do I look stupid?" Amity asked, looking serious.

"... I'm afraid to answer that, this could be a trick." Luz said.

Amity sighed, pushing her plate away.

"Something is bothering you, and how can I help if you don't ask for it?" She asked, concerned and worried.

"I... nothing is bothering me." Luz denied, shaking her head.

Sighing through her nose, Amity had enough as she stood up from her chair.

"Luz, I'm not in the mood for this, I want to help, but I need to know what's going on." Amity said, leaning forward. "One last chance... what's the problem."

Luz noted that Amity doesn't look happy, she looks very annoyed, angry... maybe even a little bit upset, and Luz looked ashamed. Without context, this looked like a break up... unfortunately, this is when Hooty showed up.

"Hello ladies!" Hooty shouted, startling them both!

"Hooty! What the hell?!" Luz shouted, standing up from her chair.

Hooty noticed the looks they had and assumed the worst.

"O-Oh no! A-Are you two-" Hooty asked but was chocking on his tears.

"We WERE about to have a personal conversation until you showed up!" Amity shouted.

"I RUINED SOMETHING ELSE!" Hooty said, stretching away.

Crashing through a wall and making the basement shake as his loud crying was heard from outside!

"Um, Amity, could we have this conversation outside?" Luz asked, avoiding a board that would've hit her head.

"Yes, I agree!" Amity shouted, moving closer to Luz. "Let's get out of here!"

The two ran through the basement and out a cellar door to the outside, seeing Hooty crying and screaming, and trying to pull himself from the Owl House.

"Hooty, stop! You're gonna bring down the entire house!" Luz said as the ground shook. "Or the whole cliff side!"

They fell to the ground with another shake.

"Out! Out, vile owl! Rid this house of thyself!" Hooty shouted as he caused the entire house to shake.

"Hooty! Stop! We're gonna fall!" King shouted, hanging on the edge of the top of the tower with Tiny Nose!

"Not we, just you!" Tiny Nose said as she used a fire spell to launch herself towards town.

"You bitch!" King shouted before he fell off the edge! "Aaaah!"

He was falling for two seconds, when he was grabbed and carried in the air.

"Gotcha!" Eda said.

"Eda?!" King asked in shock, looking at Eda's new form in shock and awe.

"Like my new look? I have Hooty to thank for that!" Eda said with a grin, glancing down to Luz and Amity. "Now hang on, we've got two young lovers to save!"

Above the couple, a large chunk came loose from the tower and was about to crush them.

'NO!' Luz thought, moving to protect amity!

'LUZ!' King thought, eyes widened.

"NOOOO!" He shouted, accidentally unleashing his sound wave attack to hit the chunk and destroyed it.

A cloud of smoke appeared over Luz and Amity, making Hooty stop his screaming and turn to them in worry!

"Oh no!" He shouted before Eda grabbed him.

"Not to fast, Hooty! Give it a minute!" Eda said, pulling him back to watch.

The smoke cleared, revealing the two of them to be completely fine. Luz let out a small cough, clearing the smoke with her hand.

"Are... are you okay, Amity?" Luz asked, before seeing that Amity was out cold with a large purple bruise on her head, "Amity! Oh no, oh no, no, no!"

Luz tried to heal her with her gloves, only to just realize she didn't have them on all day!

'Damn it! The one time I don't have my gloves with me!' Luz thought.

"Amity, wake up! Please, Amity wake up!" Luz shouted, shaking her girlfriend to wake her up. "Come on, please!"

She stop to check but still go no response, seeing Amity was practically comatose.

"No, oh god no." Luz said, pulling Amity into her lap and hugging her close. "I'm sorry, Amity... this wouldn't have happened if I just said... that I'm scared of our future... I don't know if I'll be here or in the human world, I don't know if you'll be there... I... I don't know if I'll end up alone again."

Luz felt tears come out of her eyes and she closed them.

"So that's what you were hiding." A voice said.

Luz opened her eyes and saw Amity, completely fine, smiling at Luz.

"Did... did you pretend to be knocked out!?" Luz shouted.

"Maybe, but it was one of the only ways for you to be honest with me." Amity said, moving back and removing the "bruise" from her forehead which was actually abomination magic. "But are you really that worried about our future together?"

"...Fine! Yes! Okay! I'm worried about the future!" Luz said, crossing her arms and turning away. "I don't know what it holds, and there's so much uncertainty!"

"Is that a bad thing?" Amity asked.

"Yes! It's a bad thing because.....because I don't know if you'll still be with me after I find a way back home or if you'll move on if it's one way trip." Luz said, becoming more sad than angry by the second. "Amity....I've never felt this way about ANYONE before and I don't want to lose that feeling."

Amity put a hand on Luz's cheek.

"You won't because I will Bebe stop feeling the same about you." She said with a gentle smile, "Luz... I will NEVER leave you, nothing short of the Titan coming to life will keep me away from you. I love you."

"I-I love you too, but-" Luz was cut off by Amity's lips on her own, making her shut her eye and enjoy it.

Amity pulled back and looked at Luz.

"You have nothing to fear." Amity said, putting their forehead together. "Where ever you go... I'll be there."

Luz found herself crying as she chuckled a bit, laughing at how worried she was over telling Amity this.

'She's right, somehow and someway, we'll make it work.' Luz thought before wiping away her tears and kissing Amity again.

And she wasn't the only one crying in joy as Hooty was watching them with a smile.

"I don't know how, Hooty, but you managed to help us all in a way we never thought possible." Eda said, petting Hooty with a smile.

'I didn't screw things up!' Hooty thought as he kept crying tears of joy, while Luz just helped Amity up.

-The Next Day-

After explaining everything and cleaning up the messes from his plans, Hooty was outside on a typewriter and typing a letter to Lilith about his plans from last night. Leaving no details out in his small failures and massive success in the end, he would never lie to his best friend.

"And done!" Hooty said as he grabbed the finished letter and put it in an envelope.

He brought his letter to the mailbox, where he was met by a face that looked very familiar.

"Good evening." The person said, putting a letter in front of Hooty, "Please make sure this finds its way to King Clawthorne."

Hooty gasped at the sight of him, watching him walk away before glancing down at the letter for King.

'This letter, it could answer all of King's questions! I need to bring it to him right now!' Hooty thought before hearing buzzing, watching a bug flying down to land on the letter.

"OH! BUG SNACK!" Hooty said before eating the big AND the letter. "Hmmm, yummy...Uh Oh. I really hope that that letter wasn't as important as I thought."

The Glyphing Gun: a red leaf blower with an empty paint roller was attached with a layer of duct tape at the bottom to the front nuzzle tube while a two point handle is attached to the top of the tube with two screws.
