After getting the paper to her social worker she went back to the foster home she stayed at. The mom had put out her stuff in the living room and kicked her out. She went to sleep in the streets for a night until Cate saw her the morning. "Did you sleep out here all night?". She asked. Lux nodded. "I guess that's what I get for telling my foster mom I wanted to get the hell out!. Cate offered her a place to stay for the night since her hearing was the next morning. Lux slept on the couch and later went to her hearing where the judge denied her the emancipation. The judge granted joint custody to Bazen and Cate. "Look I don't need anyone. I've been on my since I was seven okay!". She left and went to her boyfriends. "I got denied guys. I know you were counting on me and the money but I'm sorry". Lux told her friends. Tasha her best friend, protected her. "We were all counting on that!". Lux left with them and went to Cates. She didn't pack her stuff but told them to get out. It wasn't right they wanted to steal.
