Lux headed to school and saw Tasha with some guys from her juvie days rushing pay her quickly. She handed Baze breakfast. "Blueberry waffle, lightly toasted". He smiled and handed her the coffee. "Coffee, two sugars". And he drove her to school. "Wonder if you'll ever start calling me dad?". He asked. "Nah! Dads are meaner". He laughed a little.

Later after she went to class with Tasha the school got shut down for gang voilence but it wasn't really new to her. These things happen all the time. So she found a way to call Baizen and he dropped her off at his bar and went to do laundry. "I'll be fine". She said. "Till you get back". After he left the phone rang it was Cate. "Cate?". Lux said. "Oh my god you're okay!". She said relieved. "I heard about the gang thing at school. Are you okay?". "Yeah I'm fine can I call you back?". She said and hung up. Then a strange man walked into the bar asking for Baizen and said he was his father and left. "Wow I just met my grandfather!!". She said to herself.  Later Cate picked her up that night and took her home and gave her a cell phone. "It's for Tasha so you can stay in touch". Cate said. "She doesn't have one. She used to have Gavin's cell but doesn't anymore. She uses the pay phone at Sunnyvale".  "Oh?", Cate replied. "Well it's for us too. I already programmed mine, Ryan's and Baze's.". She smiled. "Thanks!". Lux said and walked off and went up to her room and sent Cate a text. "I don't want to go to Westmonte". She sent.

The next morning Cate enrolled her at a new school the one that her and Baze went to, Westmonte. She looked around. It was okay there. It seemed nice. She liked the football picture of him in 93'. She went to the office to get her class schedule and sat at a table with some girls at their lunch time and made up a story to seem cool to them. She didn't want to be "the new girl" everyone talked about. "Yeah I was at boarding school in California. Got kicked out for doing it with my boyfriend on the lab table. Later the head bitch girl walked off and a girl offered her a little of her lunch. "Don't worry she's a bitch". The girl smiled. After that she walked out to meet Bug, her boyfriend on his motorcycle and wanted to go grab dinner but Baze and Cate showed up and dragged her away for kissing him. Later he followed her back to Cate's house and Lux took him up to her room in the attic and pulled the ceiling door shut. "That's not what I had in mind!". Cate yelled. Big started to talk to her about Tasha and New Mexico about traveling so they wouldn't have to go to any more foster homes and she would be free till she turned 18 and could be on her own. "No we're not getting rid of stuff and my savings I'm saving!. That's it!". "We can be together now". She said and made out with him.
