We stepped into coach's office praying for the great news of our future career. The old man from the bleachers spoke first with a slight smile on his face.

"Well done boys. My name is Frank Larkenson." He shook our hands. I'm sure we looked like two clowns with our grins from ear to ear, but he continued. "I'm from the NHL recruiting agencies looking for a couple new side players for the Sharks this coming season. I enjoyed watching you two play together and believe you guys have the skills to become great players for the team."

Both Reece and I looked at eachother, then looked back at Frank with excitement. I know he was thinking the same as I was. We wanted to jump, scream, fist pump and hug this guy all the same time. We decided to keep our composure though for the sake of professionalism. I'm sure the couch caught it, cause he had a slight side smile while listening.

"I didn't plan on recruiting today, mainly just came out to watch. I really like what I saw out there though and would love it for you two to think about this opportunity. I will be back sometime later in the month to sign you two if interested."

"Yes! Yes!" I shook my head and looked at Reece. We were both nodding our heads like they were going to fall off.

"Yes Sir, thank you for this, we won't let you down" Reece said went for another hand shake from the man. Then I followed suit. Good thing he talked, cause the only words I could muster was "Yes!"

"Ok well, I'll be seeing you two soon then. Your coach here has givin me your guy's contact info, so expect to be hearing from me for all the final paperwork to get set up."

"No fucking way bro!" Reece said walking back to the showers.

"I know dude, fucking pinch me. Did we just hear that correct? I'm in total shock right now. I couldn't talk in there. All I wanted to do was jump around and scream."

"I know same man, but shit! Finally huh?"

"Ya, lets fucking celebrate."

"Where we going"

"To hell with it, anywhere. I need a drink to calm my nerves man. This is our dream!" I patted him on his back. "Its finally going to happen"

"Alright then, let me text Bri and see what shes doing tonight."

"What the fuck man!? Really?" I wined, but he sat there holding his phone and started to text without answering me. I knew they were getting closer and Reece usually didn't do relationships because of the whores that would just use him to get to me. I started to feel guilty for bitchin to him. Instead I rephased my words into seeing Sandy and that sweet as of hers too, if he wanted Bri to come with us. They were friends and all.

"Hey, have her bring Sandy too, ya?"

"Don't have to, shes coming with her"

"Dam this is going to be a good night bro. Where we going?"

"Theres a club shes wanting to go to at the casino. Shit, I havn't been there for years. What'do you think?"

"The Crave?"

"Thats it! Ya, you up to celebrate there?"

"Ya, I'm down with that. We need to get going though. It's an hour away."

"Ya for sure. I just got to swing by their apartment to pick them up."

After showering and getting dressed. We met up with the rest of the team walking out to the parking lot. Both Reece and I told them about the recuiter and they were all siked for us. We invited them to join us at the Crave and some declined being it was to far of a drive. A couple guys wanted to go along with their friends and said they would follow us there. I was feeling so high with excitement after what went down and now getting to spend a night out with my bros and seeing Sandy. This had to be the best day of my life.

We pulled up to the apartment and Reece got out to go get the girls. I immediately got out and rushed to the back seat of the car to be able to sit next to Sandy. They came out with Reece by their sides and I just couldn't help the goosebumbs forming all over, watching her walk to the car. Fuck those jeans had to be painted on with how tight they were. I was wishing her shirt was as tight though, but she had on a loose fitting t-shirt on instead. I couldn't wait to see her from the behind tonight.

Once they reached the car, the guys behind us started to howl and whistle at them. I don't know what came over me. I suddenly got angry and then disgusted at there gestures towards the girls. It seemed to not bother them tho and they just smiled and waved as they made their way into the car. I on the other hand had to say something. It just bugged the fuck out of me for some odd ass reason.

"Shut the fuck up you fucktards" I yelled out the window. They didn't respond tho, because they were already starting their engine back up to leave and didn't hear me.

"What the fuck was that?" Bri said looking back from the passenger seat at me all confused.

"Ya dude, that was wierd" Reece agreed with her and looked over to Bri with both their mouths hung open. They started laughing immediately afterwards without me reponding to them.

"What is it guys?" Sandy said with a side smile. Waiting to find out the hidden reason behind their laughter.
