Not A Love Story

"This is kinda out of my comfort zone." Harmony said as the tailor adjusted a pale blue dress on her, she had to admit she likes the see-through sleeves but there is no way she would ever dance in this skirt.

"It matches your hair and eyes perfectly." Audrey said not looking up from her phone.

"Right." Harmony said. "So Audrey, you're with the future king of this place, aren't you nervous about all the responsibilities?"

"Responsibilities." Audrey scoffed. "I'm gonna be queen and everyone will envy me, servants take care of the responsibilities."

Harmony was really getting tired of this girl.

"Oh, make one of the cheerleading uniforms too, she can join the team." Audrey told the tailor.

"What?!" Harmony gasped.

"The team is for princesses only and we're a little low so you can be on the team."

Harmony felt the heat in her start to burn but she had to be cool, taking a deep breath she decided to change the subject. "So what's Ben like?"

"He's too trusting, honestly I think these choices he's making are just stupid." Audrey said.

Harmony turned to her frowning. "But you're dating him, aren't you suppose to be supporting his dreams?"

"He's lucky I didn't lock him up in the asylum Gaston almost threw his grandfather in." Audrey answered.

"You don't love him." Harmony said, she's met some pretty bad demons before but this bitch really was screwed up on her morals.

"Of course I love him, he's the future king of all the kingdoms in Auradon, I'm gonna look so good in that crown."

Harmony sighed. "Audrey, break up with him."

"What?" Audrey gasped.

"You don't love him, like at all. This is wrong." Harmony paid for the dress and grabbed her notebook. "Trust me Audrey, this is something I know a lot about. If you're with someone just for a title you're asking for nothing but heartbreak and loss, break up with Ben before he gets smart enough to figure out your relationship is a joke." With that, she walked out leaving Audrey speechless.

Harmony interviewed many princesses but all of them pretty much said the same thing as Audrey. Marry a prince, look beautiful, be the best. This was driving her nuts.

Finally, Harmony knocked on a door and a girl with purple hair she saw earlier opened it. The girl looked at her shocked for a moment before shaking her head and crossing her arms.

"Hi." Harmony waved. "I'm looking for Evie."

"Aren't you the girl that came the same time we did?" The girl asked.

"Yeah."

"Your hair... It looks familiar."

"Who is it?" The girl with dark blue hair walked over and saw Harmony.

"Hi, are you Evie? I hope you don't mind but can I interview you?" Harmony asked.

Evie squealed happily and invited her in.

"So what're all these interviews for?" The purple girl asked.

"For me, I'm trying to make my home a better place for when I take over my father's kingdom." Harmony answered. "I was hoping I could compare notes with other princesses but so far I'm not really getting anywhere. Anyway Evie, what do you think it means to be a princess?"

"Marry a prince, and live in a big castle with lots and lots of mirrors." Evie answered.

Harmony couldn't control herself anymore. "Excuse me." Harmony quickly ran out of the room surprising the two girls. Harmony bumped into someone but didn't have time to see who it was since they went down to the floor and she had to get out of there before she set the whole school on fire. Unknown to her Ben was the one she bumped into and he ran after her to see if she was ok only to find her suddenly set herself on fire and disappear.
