Colin's P.O.V

Seeing Jose pop up out of nowhere on stage where P and Antonio were performing pissed me off. It looked planned obviously and I knew Antonio knew about the surprise. I saw the stupid grin he was sporting on his face when Jose got up there. 

I knew P had no idea since her face was shocked to see him. She, like I were wondering why he was up there on stage, with a microphone...it always seemed like he was going too...?

I glared at him until I caught P glance over at me with fear in her eyes. I wanted to run up there and take her away, but I knew she wouldn't want me to cause a scene in front of strangers. We had spoken and she was going to tell f***boy that she didn't love him and wanted to be with me. She just wanted to tell him in person. I could've care less how she dumped him, if I were her, I would have sent him a text to end things so she didn't have to hear him beg for her to stay. But, as long as she ended it with him, that's all that mattered. I couldn't wait for us to be together. I know I was an ass before, but she is the only woman I want in my life.

Watching them he began to speak.

"P, we've only known each other for six months...but this past six months have been the happiest I've been since I was drafted by the Marlins...when I first saw you in Miami, I knew I wanted to meet you and ask you out. You said no because of your past experiences with athletes but once I pleaded my case to give me a chance and you finally did...I knew that I had to show you that I was different from the others. I am so happy and thankful that you gave me a chance and when you said yes to becoming my girlfriend...I thought I was the luckiest man on earth. Now, I'm wondering if you would make me the happiest and luckiest man alive once again...?"

OH HELL NO!! He was proposing to her? On stage in front of a crowd of people? That f'ing ass****! He would pull something like this! Only so she wouldn't say no to the S.O.B! I swear once she does say no, I'm going to beat the crap out of him. First for taking my girl and second...just cause I hate him!

I glared at him and I could see panic in P's face and eyes. She couldn't believe what was happening and I could tell she was freaking out. I needed to go to her and break it up. I didn't care if I caused a scene. Let anyone stop me. P was mine and this ass**** wasn't going to marry her...it will be a cold day in hell!

I was about to go on stage when I saw Jose standing in front of P with both of his hands on her shoulders. She didn't look too well and it looked like she was going to pass out. 

I started running to where she was until I saw her body falling slowly and thank God Jose was there to catch her.

"Baby girl!" I screamed reaching her. She had fainted and was in his arms when she should had been in mine!

I was on my way to the hospital to see what happened to P. After she fainted, Jose picked her up and rushed her out of the club followed by Antonio, and her two girlfriends. I followed them, I needed to make sure she was okay. 

Parking in the lot I rushed to the Emergency doors and found Aesha and Kee Kee standing to the side with tears in their eyes.

"How is she?" I ask breathlessly since I ran all the way from the parking lot.

"Colin? What are you doing here?" Kee Kee asked wiping her tears.

"I'm here to see my...I mean P. Is she inside already?" I asked trying not to let them know that P and I have been together for the past few weeks.

"She's inside...with Jose and Antonio. You shouldn't be here Colin you know that! Jose isn't going to be too happy to see you here!" Aesha added shaking her head.

"Do you think I give two effing f****'s about him? She is all I care about right now!" I say mad.

"Yeah...Now you care about her! Aren't you a bit too late...Kaeperdick?!" I heard someone say behind me. Antonio.

"Antonio...never a pleasure to see you." I gritted.

"The feeling is mutual. Why the HELL are you here?" he asked.

"I came to make sure P was alright!" I glared at him.

Antonio glared back then smirked "Sorry bro! But her Fiance is with her! You don't need to worry about her anymore. She actually has a real man to take care of her now...so you can leave and never turn back...you know you're good at that!" 

I clenched my fists and jaw. I wanted to punch him but I knew it was inappropriate here in the hospital. I didn't want to get kicked out before I saw her. She was my main concern.

"Sorry...BRO! But I didn't hear P say yes to him!" I chuckled.

"Not yet! Wait until she's awake and rested! I'm sure she will marry him. He's the best man for her and she knows it...unlike you! I'm so f'ing glad she saw through you're b.s. months back and didn't bother to give you a second thought! You are bad for her Kaepernick...and my best friend deserves better!" he spat taking a step closer to me. Better?!

I stared at him then laughed shaking my head "Bro...you don't know sh** about her or me! And who the hell are you to say who is better for her. She is a grown ass woman who can make up her own decisions! Jose is just going to tie her down and suffocate her. She doesn't WANT to be with someone as needy and clingy as him!"

"How the hell would you know?! Have you been spying on her or something?" Antonio cocked his brow.

I stared at him. I could so easily blurt out what has been going on between P and I for the past few weeks but I won't. It's not the time or place, and knowing Antonio, he would take a swing at me and we'll both be kicked out!

"I just know!" I mutter and turn my back on him. "I'm just going to sit down and wait." looking at Aesha and Kee Kee then made my way to the waiting area. It was going to be a very long night!

Hours passed and Antonio, Aesha and Kee Kee went inside to see P. After a while, Kee Kee came out to let me know that she was awake and was fine. She told me to go home and rest and that she would tell P I was there for her. I didn't want to leave but decided too so she could get her rest. I would come see her later, then if she wanted too, we could tell f***boy together that she was dumping him for me!

It was eight in the morning when I heard my phone ding notifying me that I had a message. I reached out for it seeing it was a text from P. Smiling I read it.

From Baby Girl: Can you please come to the hospital? We need to talk!

I furrowed my eyebrows. I hope she was okay. "Okay, be there in thirty minutes! Are you alright? Is he with you?" I ask then waited for her respond.

From Baby Girl: We will talk once you are here!

To Baby Girl: Okay...will see you soon babe!   

Getting up I rushed to get dressed making sure I brush my teeth. I already had taken a shower when I got home a few hours back so I just made my way to my car to go see my baby girl in the hospital.

It didn't take long to get to the hospital, so once I parked I rushed inside to the desk and asked for P's name. The nurse told me what room she was in and I made my way there.

I found the room and smiled. I was a minute away from seeing and holding my baby girl in my arms. This was going to be our new beginning. I will show her that I was the right man for her.

Knocking on the door lightly I heard her say come in. Making my way inside, my smile dropped as I saw Jose sitting next to her with a pissed off face expression. What the hell was he still doing here?

"Colin!" P said lowly with a small smile on her face. 

I smiled at her then glared at Jose who had a scowl then back at her. "How are you feeling baby girl?" walking towards her I took her in my arms hugging her tight. I knew it pissed him off cause I could hear him swear Spanish words under his breath. 

"P, I'm leaving...vendre horita!" then got up to leave still glaring at me which I returned with a smirk. 

I watched him until he stopped and turned around to look at me "I swear to God Kaeperprick! If you so much as hurt her and stress her out like you have...I won't hesitate to kill you! You have my word! I love P more than you could imagine and she knows it...I would do ANYTHING for her and even if she begs me NOT to kill you...I will cause you DIDN'T deserve her then and you DEFINITELY DON'T deserve her now! You will never ever hurt her again without consequences!" he gritted then looked at P "I love you Princess...I hope you know that!" then turned around and left the room. Well then!

I turned to look down at P and noticed she was silently crying. "Baby girl, please don't cry!" I tell her bringing her into my arms again. She began to shake and sob so I started rubbing her back to calm her down. It broke my heart to hear her like this.

"I'm sorry Colin...I never meant for all of this to happen! He didn't deserve this! He was nothing but good to me...I'm a horrible person! He deserves someone better than m-.." but I cut her off before she finished the sentence.

"I don't want to hear another word P! This wasn't your fault! You can't help who you care for and want to be with! He'll get over it...eventually!" I reassure her cupping my hands on both sides of her beautiful tear stricken face wiping her tears away with my thumbs. Leaning down I kiss her softly. I needed to kiss her.

Pulling away she sighed "He won't...he won't get over it." she whispered. 

I looked at her closely. She looked so hurt and lost as if she was holding something back. 

"You know...we really need to stop meeting like this in the hospital. If you really just wanted me to take care of you, you could have just asked me too instead of fainting. You scared me just like you did when Antonio gave you a concussion!" I tell her chuckling making her giggle a bit. I loved her giggles.

"I know...I feel so fragile and weak sometimes..." frowning I saw tears well up again.

Frowning myself I looked down at her noticing that she was fidgeting with something in her hands.

Furrowing my eyebrows I stare at her hands then at her "P? What is that in your hands?"

She looked taken back snapping her head down to look at her hands and then looked up at me sadly. Tears began to roll down her cheeks again "I'm sorry Colin...that is the reason I wanted you to come over...I need to tell you something...and I'm praying that you won't hate me after this...!" she said with pleading eyes. The look in her eyes broke my heart and I knew that what she had to tell me would break me also...and I don't think things between us will ever be the same again!

Third Person P.O.V.

My phone began to ring so I lazily picked it up "Hello?"

"Hey...It's me! I have some news I thought I should share with you!" the person on the other line said making me curious.

"Oh yeah! What is it?" I ask.

"She's pregnant..."

"Pregnant? Are you sure?" I yell not wanting to believe what I had just heard. 

"Yes...I'm looking at her test results right now! She definitely is!" they said with reassurance in their  voice...this can't be happening!

"F***! This can't be happening!!" I yelled again pissed off right now.

"Sorry, you told me to keep tabs on her...I also need to tell you something else I found out!" they say making me listen.

"What?" I breathed out.

"She was with him...!"

"She was? Are you sure about that?" I asked taking in the new information.

"Positive...at the club before...!" 

"I don't want to know! Trust me...okay...keep me posted and thanks for letting me know!" I tell them.

"No problem. Will call you if I find out something else! Bye!" then hung up.

Staring into space I replayed what I had been notified about. She was pregnant...and there was nothing that I could do about it...unless! I smiled to myself coming up with a plan.

Going to my contacts I called my friend who I knew will help me in this. I waited for the other line to pick up.

"Hello?" 

"Hey...I need a favor!" I tell them seriously.

"Okay, what is it?" 

"I need you to follow someone for me. There is a situation!"

"Who?" they ask. I love that they don't ask too many questions.

"It's a woman...and she's pregnant. I'll text you her address, both home and work plus her picture. Keep your distance from her...she's important." I say making it known I wanted them to just follow her around and not hurt her...yet!

"Alright...will do!" they say then hung up.

I sent them the information then put my phone down. If everything that I was thinking in my head went accordingly, then I will get what I want! No worries...sometimes you have to tweak things before plans become successful...and my plan will be solid...I'm sure of it!

So Colin is in the hospital with P cause she needs to tell him something. Will he accept what P tells him? Did she tell Jose what happened between her an Colin? Will things be the same between them? 

How about the mysterious third party? Who are they and who were they talking about? Will they be a problem?
