"Addison, this isn't the Feeding of the 5000"

Ignoring Eve, he scowled at the platter of snacks, "Should I go get more before they arrive?"

Today, the cheer and football teams were coming by to talk about the annual fall festival. Addison was scared to death. Although he hated most of the people, he still wanted to make a good impression.

The best way to make an impression on teenagers is food. So he got a lot of that. His mom promised to go all out. And by all out, she meant pre-cooked chicken wings with some soda that she stole from her job.

But anything works.

Eli begged to come so Addison used his desperation to his advantage. They made a deal that if he snuck pizzas from Pete's he could stay as long as he wanted.

"No. And they should be coming soon, get dressed. You look terrible."

Addison looked at himself in the mirror and cringed.

After getting ready a few people showed up. Mostly some guys and a couple of cheerleaders.

The girls sat down in the living room talking amongst themselves. The boys did everything but act like decent human beings.  But frankly, Addison wasn't surprised.

Jordan and Oliver were the last ones to arrive. "Oliver." Addison greeted, "Hi Jordan."

"Hey, Addison. Thank you again for letting us use your house. I'll make sure these guys don't mess anything up too badly. They're a little playful sometimes."

"It's fine. They only broke one vase so far and it wasn't expensive." He reassured with a grin. Jordan smiled back apologetically.

"Can we come in, Addison? You guys can eye fuck each other later." Oliver grumbled.

Addison glared at him briefly before letting them in.

It took him a while to get everyone's attention. But when he finally got it, the brainstorming began. Addison never thought he would be forced to listen to such horrible ideas.

"What if I performed my pole dancing? I'm sure a lot of guys would pay for that." Ariana offered with a grin. The football players happily cheered her on with whistles and hoots.

"Ummm...I-I don't know if that's a good idea. It may be a little... Cold."Addison shut her down nicely. "And there's gonna be little kids there."

"Ok so? I for one think it's a great idea." Oliver smirked. Ariana thanked him with a smile and looked at Addison expectantly.

"No. Any more ideas?"

"What if we started nice and easy with some booths. My mom makes some nice candles that she's willing to sell." Jordan stated.

Addison smiled, "That sounds really nice Jordan.  Good idea I like it."

"No one wants to buy candles." Oliver snorted. "What about a piercing booth? My cousin can help?"

"Why would you have a piercing booth-"

"-Well you loved Jordan's idea so much. What's wrong with mine?" Oliver rolled his eyes. "You're not the boss here. We're all supposed to contribute."

Everyone except Jordan and Eve agreed in sync.

"I never said I was the boss. You guys are just giving absurd ideas for a family-friendly fall festival."

Their debate was interrupted by the doorbell.

Thank you, Eli.

"Come in. You can put the pizza in the kitchen."

"There's food" Addison motioned towards the kitchen. "We can continue while you eat. Or better yet, eat and go." Everyone rushed to the kitchen and helped themselves.

Addison sighed and rubbed his temples.

People are a lot of work.

"You okay?" Jordan questioned. "You look stressed."

Addison shrugged, "I'm fine."

Jordan placed his hand on Addison's shoulder and smiled, "Don't stress about this. It's only our first meeting. When the next one comes, we'll have everything all sorted out."

Addison nodded, "Yeah, you're-"

Oliver walked right in between them, "Shit my bad." He said, his voice showing not one sign of remorse.

Jordan cleared his throat, "It's fine, man. Addison, don't you want to go and get some pizza? Before it's all gone?

"Oh, I-"

"-He doesn't like pizza." Oliver scowled at Jordan.

"Really?" Some guy came up to them with a plate full. "I always took you as the meat-lovers type." He grinned.

Addison ignored the boy's lame joke and focused on Oliver, "What's wrong with you?"

Oliver rolled his eyes and walked away. Addison followed closely on his tail. "Oliver."

"What?"

"Why are you acting like such a bitch right now?"

"I'm not." He crossed his arms over his chest and shrugged, "If anything you are."

"How?"

"Oh, Jordan that is such a good idea. Oh my god, I fucking love your lame-ass scented candles. Oh, Jordan fuck me please." Oliver mocked in a high-pitched voice, that sounded nothing like Addison's.

"I did not do that."

"Yes, the fuck you did." Oliver narrowed his eyes.

"What the hell does that have to do with you?"

"Nothing. I don't care." Oliver shoved past him and walked up to Jordan. After exchanging a few words, Oliver walked to the front door and Jordan went to Addison.

"Hey, we're heading out. Thank you again. This was great."

Addison gave him a tight smile, "Yeah, thanks. See you around."

After everyone left, Eli and Eve helped him tidy up. It seemed their parents taught those kids how to clean out someone's fridge but not their messes. Not only were Addison's Chinese leftovers missing, but there was also a huge hole in his mom's banana pudding. She's gonna be pissed.

"This is why I don't have people over." He muttered dragging a trash bag to the front door. "Not that people ever want to come over."

Eve took the trash bag out of his hand and handed it to Eli, "He can take it for you. Come and sit down you look stressed."

"I am." Oliver is stressing me out with his petty jealousy.

"You know Oliver looked really good today." She started, "Like 'Fuck me I'm hot' good. You know?"

"Where is this coming from, Eve?" He asked rubbing his temples, "He is the last person I want to talk about."

"I wonder what color his pubes are?" She muttered nonchalantly. "Do you ever wonder what color his pubes are?"

Addison looked at her in disbelief, "The color of his hair?"

"What are you two talking about?" Eli questioned.

"Nothing.."

"Oliver's pubes."

"They're probably like...rainbow-colored." Eli nodded. "Or silver."

"Why are we talking about Oliver Beckett's pubic hair?" Addison stood up abruptly. "I expected this from Eve but Eli..."

"Fine..." Eve sat up. "I saw how he looked at you today while you were standing in the middle of the room like some dictator."

"I was not-"

"-Let me finish. Oliver's eyes stayed on you the whole time."

"Everyone's eyes were on me the whole time."

Eve snorted, "No, trust me we didn't pay you a bit of attention. Most of the cheerleaders admitted to just coming for the guys, and vice versa with the football team. I'm pretty sure someone had sex in one of your closets while you were busy getting eye fucked by Oliver and seduced by Jordan."

"They totally did. I heard the moans," Eli said with a chuckle.

"But back to Oliver-"

"-No, not back to Oliver. I'm tired. I didn't get my daily nap in. You guys should go."

"But I wanted to see your mom," Eli whined.

"Stop trying to seduce my mom Eli. You just earned yourself another reason to get kicked out. Bye."

"I have a date with-"

"-Let me guess." Addison interrupted. "Your boss' sister?"

"No. My boss' sister's best friend." Eve rolled her eyes before dragging Eli out of his house, slamming the door behind her.

After changing into his pajamas, Addison climbed into bed. Sighing, when he heard his phone go off on his nightstand.

User789o0: Hey we haven't talked all day how are you doing?

Never mind, fuck the nap.

IIIIIIIIIIIII

Shit, I would skip the nap too ngl.

Not Oliver getting jealous.

And not me naming my chapter after a very relatable Olivia Rodrigo song
