[Chapter 1]

Months passed slowly, I was now in my new apartment in the UK. The weather was mostly cold, as I liked it. My university had let me study and take classes via a network. I was already eight months old pregnant.

I was all alone, scared that something might happen and there would be no one to save my child. Since that day at the airport, I have been working as a small-time actress for the first two months but stopped halfway because of my pregnancy.

In the following months, I just studied, and my mum sent me a big sum of money every week for support. The end of this semester was near and when the time came, I just stayed at home looking after myself. I had two more years to study in the business department since I was smart and hardworking, and my efforts paid off. And I took the test two years earlier. I passed it successfully. Now that I had nothing to do, I could agree to a female lead in an upcoming movie ''Breathed away.'' as the main role was pregnant too, and it suited my conditions. The only thing I had to do was be careful.

Time passed as the filming continued, and the baby in my belly grew up more and more. The natural and well-acted scenes were amusing to the directors and people that worked there. Rafael, my manager, had short light brown hair and was taller than me.

He had a 3 years old daughter, named Eulia, she was very cute and cheery. We became closer than friends, we became family over the years. I was a mother to his daughter and he was a father to my son. It was what we both needed.

We weren't in any sexual or love relationship but deeply admired each other. We understood each other and knew each other's most hidden secrets. The days passed on the set normally, and as my mood changes were too brutal for anyone else to suppress, Rafael always came to my rescue. I was sure Sheila had already done her magic on not being able to be seen anywhere by Damian.

''Hey, little Eulia!''

I exclaimed and got her into my embrace.

''Don't do that, what if something happens to the baby?''

he was right and I reluctantly put the little girl down.

''Hey, Beth?'',

''What is it?'',

''Don't panic, it's just..'',

I looked down on my feet to see that my waters had already broken, the director and Rafael called for an ambulance as everyone else stepped aside.

I knew this was going to be on the news of the entertainment circle but It was just the scene we were recording and they all thought it was just an act.

After it ended the director, which knew I was pregnant got everyone out of the set, and with the help of Rafael, I was headed to the hospital. I was put on the operation bed and was scared to death by Rafael.

''RELAX BETH, RELAX.''

he said while he was sweating like a madman.

''Well, I AM relaxed thank you very much. Remember this, if I die, you- TAKE- CARE OF MY- SON.''

pain.

It overwhelmed me. It was the first time so much pain burst itself into my body. Rafael's hand was already red from my grab.

''Jesus, why does it seem like you're going to die?'',

''SHUT- UP- IDIOT-''

Hell broke down, I couldn't speak. The doctor came in and I gave him a furious look.

''Mister Donalds, where the hell- OUCH, HAve you been?''

he smiled at me and I got even more irritated.

He was my doctor during this pregnancy and he seemed to understand me pretty well, much to my disappointment, he didn't utter a word. He helped me with all the procedures while Rafael stood there holding my hand, he seemed to need it more than I did. He was scared to death too.

''He Raf? You okay?'',

''NO-, Yes. I am a man, I am strong.'',

''BullSHIT- OUCH. DOCTOR do something this thing trying to kill his mama.''

I exclaimed.

Several hours had passed, and the baby boy was born healthily, fat and beautiful. I teared up as I held him in my hands.

''Go find Eulia, tell her to come to see her new brother.''

Rafael couldn't stop staring at the little boy.

''Okay, okay.''

They came back and little Eulia was overjoyed.

''I have a little brother, I have a little brother,''

she exclaimed happily.

After that, I stayed at the hospital for more than a month. We watched him sleep, cry, eat, and repeat. He was so noisy I wanted to kill myself.

But I already loved him too much. He was everything I had from the moment I knew he existed. Rafael and Eulia loved him too. After I left the hospital, our life changed.

For the next five months, we each lived in different houses as before but seemed that Eulia was more often at mine than she was at her daddy's, and so did little Allen, my son, it was the happiest time of my life.

The movie scenes were almost done and we only needed to do the end ceremony. I was a big hit this time, with Matt Treat as the male lead, the movie went to numbers I haven't even thought I could reach this early, I had fans that loved me and other female actors hated my guts.

''How come such a woman become so famous overnight?'',

''It must be because she slept with some old bastard.'',

''Yeah, women like her are ruining our fame as actresses.''

After some time, I went back to my university.

Since I had skipped two years in high school I was always being tested for my knowledge, but it didn't bother me, instead it helped me. The days passed smoothly as I decided to call my mum for the first time and tell her everything.

She sounded happy and asked when she could meet her grandson, I was a bit sad about that because I knew it wouldn't be anytime soon, but she said it was okay, and that I should take care of everybody here.
