Alexa's Point of View
I woke up in my bed, Aaron's arm slung across my chest. I picked his arm up softly moving it off of me and climbing out of bed.
I looked at myself in my mirror, Aaron's big shirt loosely hung from my body. My alarm clock read, six am. School is in an hour. I put on pajama pants and left my bedroom.
I walked into the kitchen, trying to find something to eat but was greeted by my father.
"Hey sweetheart," My father said.
"Hey," I said with wide eyes walking past him and heading towards the fridge.
"Well don't sound too excited," He laughed as I pulled the egg carton from the middle shelf. "Your hardworking father has been gone on trips to provide for his loving family."
I walked over to the stovetop, turning on a burner and getting ready to make scrambled eggs. I laughed at my father's comment, "Right."
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked.
"Nothing," I shook my head and bit my lip as I scrambled the eggs in the pan.
"How has school been?" My father asked.
"Good," I shrugged. "Made some new friends."
"Like who?" Asked my father.
"Aaron, Chase, Claire, and Haley," I said nonchalantly.
"Oh," He said, he seemed taken aback.
"Anything wrong with that?" I asked.
"No, no," He stammered and shook his head.
I tilted my head, giving him a look of confusion, "What's wrong?"
He grabbed his phone off the marble countertop and looked at his lock screen, "Sorry honey, I'm running late to work. Bye. Love you!" He rushed out the kitchen and out the front door leaving me utterly confused.
I finished cooking the eggs and made some toast before returning to my room. Aaron laid in the bed. He seemed barely awake, but he wasn't asleep.
"Hey," I said walking over to him.
He tossed around in the bed to face me, "Hi," He said with a wide grin.
"Made some food," I smiled and brought him his plate.
He sat up in my bed, patting an empty spot next to him. I smiled, sitting down.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked.
I shrugged, "Good I think. You?"
"Good," He nodded his head.
"My dad just left for work," I said. "And I don't think my mom is here so the house is free for you to explore."
He nodded his head, "Good to know Alexa."
I placed my head on his shoulder and continued to eat my food.
"Thanks for the breakfast," He said. "Tasted good."
I looked over at his plate, it was clean.
"No problem," I said grabbing his plate. "Come to the kitchen with me."
I walked into the kitchen with him following behind. I placed our plates in the dishwasher.
"Want something to drink?" I asked.
He nodded his head, "Please."
I went into the fridge as he walked off down the hall. I grabbed the large bottle of orange juice and poured him a glass, and then myself.
He walked back into the kitchen, holding a picture frame in his hand. His face seemed so confused.
"What's the matter?" I asked as I set the glasses on the counter top.
I grabbed the pan I used to cook the eggs and began washing it in the sink.
"Nothing," He shook his head.
"No seriously," I said looking over at him. "Come here."
He walked over with the picture frame still in his hand.
"What?" I asked.
"Who is that?" He asked pointing at the frame.
I looked over at the picture. It was from my eighth grade graduation. Quite embarrassing to say the least. I cringed looking at what I looked at.
"Alexa?" Aaron asked.
"Oh yeah," I said looking to where his finger was pointed to. "That's my father. Why?"
He shook his head, "I don't know. He looked familiar though."
"Oh," I said trying to think where Aaron could have seen my father.
"He's a company consultant," I said. "He helps people who have failing companies to turn it around. He normally gets companies out of states causing him to travel. I don't know where you could have seen him."
Aaron shrugged, "I don't know."
"Weird," I said finishing cleaning the pan and placing it in the drying rack. "Anyways, let's get ready for school."
He rolled his eyes, "Do we have to go Alexa?"
"Yeah," I nodded my head. "Are you crazy?"
"Let's skip," He said grabbing my hands.
I shook my head, "Absolutely not."
"One day won't kill you," He sighed.
I started walking back towards my room, "My parents will."
"When did you start to care about your parent's rules?," He asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"What?" I asked opening the door to my room and heading towards my closet.
"I mean, I'm here," He said.
I looked over at him, "That's different. Skipping school is so much easier getting caught."
"You'll be fine," He said. "Text your mom, tell her you're not feeling well and you're gonna stay home."
"And then do what?" I asked crossing my arms.
"Let's go out," He said grabbing my hand.
I rolled my eyes, "Fine. But only once."
"Let's go to Sacramento," He said all excitedly.
"That's like an hour and a half away," I said.
"Good thing it's only six-thirty," He smiled.
"Okay fine," I said giving in.
"I'm gonna go home and get ready," He said. "When I'm done I'll come back and pick you up."
"Okay," I said going through my closet looking for something to wear.
I turned my head to face him. He looked straight in my face and walked over. Grabbing my face in his hands and kissing me on the lips, "I'll text you," He said before leaving.
I stood there, in shock, did Aaron Hull seriously just kiss me? Sure we slept together but still, it shocks me every time.

Aaron: outside :)
I put my phone in my back pocket and rushed out the door. Aaron sat in his Prius. He grinned at me through the window.
He jumped out the car, "You look amazing!" He beamed.
He rushed over to the passenger side, opening the door, "Get in."
I smiled up at him as I sat down in his car. Did he become a gentleman overnight?
He began to drive, "We can go pick up lunch at some restaurant in Midtown," He said. "But first, we'll shop around."
"Okay," I smiled, I was so excited.
He reached his hand over the middle console and grabbed my hand, holding it and he drove with his left.
I turned my head to face him, he kept his eyes fixated on the road. I just was staring him and admiring his beauty. I was more ready than ever to spend the day with him in Sacramento.
