I opened the door and didn't see just a simple B&B room but much more.

Large chandeliers were illuminating the scene, my eyes were enjoying an elegant and refined view. The place I was seemed like a palace from the 1800s or even older. I took a few steps forward, but I was immediately surprised by a female voice.

??: "Good morning, who are you?"

I looked ahead and saw a massive window radiating light, two grand staircases leading to an upper floor, and in the center of these two staircases, there was a large desk where a woman was seated, looking at me, waiting for my answer to her question.

Y/n: "Um...hello, I'm not exactly sure how I ended up here, but I was previously in a B&B and had booked a room, specifically room 7, and as soon as I opened the door, I found myself here..."

The woman, upon hearing my explanation, had a surprised reaction, noticeable from her wide-open eyes and her skin turning pale.

??: "Oh my god...this can't be possible...I was told you existed, but I never thought you'd actually manage to come."

Y/N: "Excuse me, what exactly are you talking about? I just booked a room, how is it possible that I'm here? Where am I?"

??: "Follow me, I'll take you to your room!" The woman said as if I were someone important, and she quickly stood up, guiding me to the elevator. She pressed the button for the 7th floor.

Where on earth am I? Who is this woman?

We quickly reached the 7th floor, and she led me to a door. I opened it, and I saw this.

I couldn't believe my eyes, my mouth was open in astonishment.

Y/n: "Excuse me, but this can't be my room, and even if it were, I couldn't afford it."

??: "Don't you like it? I can tell the masters and have it changed immediately"

Y/n: "Are you kidding? It's beautiful! Wait a minute...the masters? Who are you talking about?"

??: "I'm talking about your soulmates."

That's when it all clicked. I was in the palace of the 7 vampires... well... it doesn't seem so bad, after all.

Y/n: "Ah, right. Tell my soulmates that I thank them and that I'd like to meet them as soon as possible."

??: "Certainly! Now rest, you must have had a long journey. The bathroom has already a filled bathtub if you want to take a bath."

??: "And if you want to change clothes, you'll find everything in the walk-in closet."

Y/n: "Alright."

The woman left, leaving me alone to rest.
