The Prophecy
In a distant time, when the moon illuminated the night skies with a silvery glow and the wind whispered ancient secrets, a tale was told of seven powerful and immortal vampires who roamed the earth searching for something that no magic or dark force could ever provide: true love. These vampires, known as the Sons of the Moon, were renowned for their extraordinary abilities and ethereal beauty.
Despite their incredible power and immortality, the seven vampires were trapped in eternal solitude. One night, an ancient prophecy emerged from a forgotten book: “When the moon is full and the sky sparkles with falling stars, the seven searching hearts will find their lost light, a soulmate who will illuminate their existence and complete their destiny.”
Driven by this vision, the Sons of the Moon embarked on their quest. They traveled through desolate lands, thriving cities, and enchanted forests, searching for clues that might lead them to their soulmate.
But it is said that to this day, the seven vampires have yet to find their beloved, and they live in despair.

As I read, my heart raced wildly. Is it possible that I am the soulmate of seven vampires? No, it’s not possible... vampires don’t exist, and even if they are looking for me as the book said, it’s far more likely they’re just psychopaths... or at least that was the only explanation—or rather, the only excuse—my mind could come up with.
I was still at the gas station but decided to start the car and continue my journey. Naturally, my plan was to run away.
I drove, but it was the dead of night, and I was starting to feel sleepy. My eyelids were growing heavy, but I forced them open. I decided to put on some music to stay awake. I turned on the radio and heard “Hype Boy” by New Jeans—it was a fun and exciting song that could keep me awake. I hummed along, focusing as best as I could.
Y/n: “‘Cause I know what you like boy, You’re my chemical hype boy... OH SHIT!”
A figure appeared in the road ahead, and to avoid it, I swerved the car, crashing into a tree.

I woke up to the faint light of dawn. It was early morning. I was still on the road, in the woods, but I had crashed into a tree. I touched my forehead and found a little blood, but thankfully not much.
I heard someone knocking on the window, and frightened, I grabbed the first thing I could find and pointed it at the stranger.
??: “Hey, hey, calm down. I’m not here to hurt you,” the stranger said, hands raised in defense.
Y/n: “Who are you?”
??: “My name’s John, and I own that B&B over there. I saw your car crashed into the tree and wanted to check if you were okay.”
Y/n: “Oh, I see... I’m fine, but I don’t think the car is.”
John: “I know my way around cars, I could fix it. If you don’t have anywhere else to go, you’re welcome to stay at the B&B.”
Y/n: “Thank you so much, you have no idea how helpful that is. I’ve been driving all night.”
John: “It’s dangerous driving at night, you might hit an animal and not even see it,” he said, moving the car into the B&B’s garage.
Y/n: “I know... which room can I take?”
John: “Room number 7 is available. The kitchen and living room are on the ground floor, and the bathroom is included in the room.”
Y/n: “Okay... when will the car be ready?”
John: “It’ll take at least a week.”
I thanked John before heading to the room, then entered the B&B.
The building had a rustic, mountain-lodge style with wooden ceilings and walls. The living room was cozy, with a fireplace. The furniture were old-fashioned, but I loved it.
I climbed the stairs and found a floor with 10 rooms. John had said mine was number 7. But when I opened the door, I didn’t find just a simple room.
John~~
