Hoseok: "See you soon, Y/n... perhaps sooner than you think."

He turned with a smirk and walked away, leaving me speechless. I had never been so attracted to a man before, and I desperately wanted to get to know him. But then, the rational part of my mind reminded me that he was just a stranger and that I probably wouldn't see him again...

I decided to visit my mother's friend, Zahra, who was a fortune teller and could read palms. Too many unexplained things were happening: the cat... those two men... the footprints in my room... the crow... this incredibly attractive yet very strange man.

I arrived at Zahra's shop, eager to find out what was happening in my life. The shop hadn't changed in years; it always had a mysterious and magical atmosphere. There were cards, a crystal ball, a skull, and many other objects for communicating with spirits or performing magic. As I entered, the bell above the door rang, signaling Zahra that someone had arrived.

Zahra: "Y/n, what a pleasure to see you! Sit down, I'll make you some tea. What brings you here?"

I sat in the armchair in front of her desk and said,

Y/n: "Some strange things have been happening in my life, and I came to you hoping you could give me some answers."

Zahra immediately stopped preparing the tea and, with urgency, said,

Zahra: "Give me your hand."

I gave her my hand, and she began to read my palm. Then she looked at it with a terrified expression and said,

Zahra: "Y/n, you need to leave this city... you're in danger... they will find you, and the prophecy will be fulfilled if you don't go."

Y/n: "Who are 'they'?"

Zahra: "I can't tell you who they are, but the only thing I can say is to be extremely careful and go as far away as possible... hide."

Y/n: "But where am I supposed to go? I have college and my family here; I can't just leave suddenly. My mother will definitely call the police to look for me. I can't just disappear."

Zahra: "Your mother already knows everything and won't look for you because you must escape. Take these (she handed me some money), take my car, and go as far away as possible."

She made me stand up and led me back to the entrance of the shop.

Y/n: "Zahra, do I have time to get my things from my apartment?"

Zahra: "Do it quickly."

Y/n: "Will I see you again, Zahra?"

Zahra: "Not so soon, dear, but one day we will definitely meet again."

I hugged her before taking her car and heading to my apartment. I grabbed everything I needed and locked my apartment, not knowing if I would ever return.

I should have informed Luna that I was leaving the city, but what would I tell her? That someone unknown was after me, and I had to escape? She would only worry, and I didn't want to involve her in this situation. I didn't even know what situation I was in myself.

I started the car engine and drove down the road leading out of the city. From that moment on, I promised myself I would start a new life, not knowing that I was about to begin one that I absolutely did not expect.

Two hours had passed, and it was already dark, but I kept driving. The road was straight, I was in the woods, but I would soon arrive in the town of Roseville, a place I had visited several times as a child, so it wasn't new to me.

I heard my phone ringing; someone was calling me. I saw "Mom" on the screen and answered.

Y/n: "Mom? What's wrong?"

??: "Hello, Y/n."

Y/n: "Hoseok..."

Hoseok: "I see you remember my name, dear. Don't worry, your mother is fine. I just needed to talk to you, and I knew you wouldn't answer a call from an unknown number."

Y/n: "What do you want to tell me?"

Hoseok: "You can't run away."

Y/n: "What? I'm not running away, why would I?" (I laughed, trying to lie.)

Hoseok: "Y/n, don't lie to me... I know very well that you're in Zahra's car and headed towards Roseville."

Y/n: "Are you the one I'm running from?"

(Hoseok laughs) "Almost... add six more."

Y/n: "What do you want from me?" (My voice full of panic.)

Hoseok: "Hey, hey, calm down, we don't want to hurt you... Everything Zahra said was just an excuse to get you to come to us."

Y/n: "I don't believe you."

Hoseok: "If you don't believe me, call Zahra now and ask her yourself." (He hangs up.)

I parked the car at a gas station and called Zahra. She immediately answered, telling me what I didn't expect.

Zahra: "Yes, I lied to you."

Y/n: "Explain yourself."

Zahra: "Y/n, you're destined to be with them, and the only way to get you out of this city was to tell you that you had to escape because they would come after you. But in reality, you're already on the road to meet them."

Y/n: "Who are 'they'?!?"

Zahra: "There's a book in my car. You'll find all the answers there." (She hangs up.)

I ran a hand through my hair. I was frustrated, scared, alone, and confused.

I searched for the book Zahra mentioned and found it. The name of the book was

"The Prophecy of the Seven Sons of the Moon"
