Canine Instincts

They both started circling me, making it hard to watch them both. I snarled and turned in circles, focusing on the male so I didn't get dizzy, but I kept my other senses on the female. Waiting for the first move, I started thinking who would attack first and how. I made it seem as though I was focusing on the male so the female would attack. I was right. She lunged for me, being very quiet. I assumed she was going to try and grab my scruff, so I swung around and swatted her to the side just as her jaws closed about an inch away from my muzzle. I landed clumsily which wasn't good. The male lunged and knocked me over. I quickly stood up, only for him to pin me to the ground. He then snapped his muzzle towards my throat and nipped the skin barely.
"State your name, rank, and reason!" He barked. I struggled beneath his weight, after all, he was twice my size.
"My name is Bonestorm, my rank is Young Subordinate of Slypack, and I was running from Dienawolves. Now, let me up." I growled, aggresively pressing my muzzle into his.
He pulled away and got off. The female approached. I assumed she was a runt, considering she was my size and I was a runt. I glared at her, a slight glint of anger in my eyes.
"That is Radium, I am Galaxis." Her words came out quickly and harshly, like a coyote's jaws as it snaps at you. I lowered my fur to show no more aggression, and i watched as they did the same.
"She seems easy to talk to..." Radium slowly mumbled to Galaxis.
"I agree. Hmm... maybe we could have her stick around and see how it goes... after all, we are in the same pack as her." She replied. They both spoke in silent whispers, thinking I couldn't hear them, so I went along with it and sat down. Once they were done talking, Radium spoke up, "We will have you stick with us... see how loyal you are..." he eyed me suspiciously. "Aaaaaand because it is our canine instincts to be in a group of trustworthy wolves." Galaxis spoke quickly, smacking him with her tail.
