Cinder

Cinder had just got out of bed, moody and depressed. Her favorite family member, Peony, was in the hospital.

Honestly, she wouldn't have minded at all if Pearl, her other sister, got the fatal disease, Letumosis. She was practically the daughter of the Devil, cruel and stuck-up. But she was the daughter of Adri Linh... Then again, Cinder didn't think there was much of a difference between Adri and the Devil.

Today was the first day of high school, not the best day of her life. She honestly did not want to meet a special person, that Kaito guy that Peony and Pearl were always talking about, whoever Pearl liked, probably wasn't the best person to meet.

She phoned her best friend, Iko, she was supposed to pick Cinder up and she was late, it was 6:57.

"Hurry up!"She shouted into the phone,"We're going to be late!"

Then she hung up, not waiting for Iko to answer.

Iko

Cinder had just yelled at her to hurry up. Doesn't Cinder, of all people understand that: 

one, Iko was and is a late sleeper

and two, Iko takes out the trash

?!?

She washed her hands hastily and drove to Cinder's house. Maybe she crushed someone's mailbox along the way?

Cinder was already standing there. A very angry face plastered on her face.

"Can't you be on time for anything?"Cinder was shouting. 

Typical Cinder...

"No,"Iko smiled sweetly.

Cinder rolled her eyes and got in the car. They drove for 2 minutes but was late for 20 minutes.

Cinder

While Iko ran away, Cinder went to her locker. She bumped into some Asian boy and dropped all her stuff(Other than her backpack).

"Hi, I'm Kaito."He tried to help her but was batted away.

Cinder didn't even bother to look at him, she didn't want to. After hastily putting everything away, she said,"I'm Cinder."

He tried to shake her hand, but she already ran away.

A/N

The real story will be written in first person. Iko's not really going to be main, there will be a little Kiko though. 

I'll update a lot, a little every day, I guess. I don't have much ideas, give me a few suggestions.

Every chapter will be a bit short, I'm running low on ideas.
