Y/n P. O. V

I walked into my little home since I just gotten relieved of my duties. I was  one of Queen Levana's thaumaturges. I sighed through my nose, removing my clip from my hair, letting it cover my face. I looked into the mirror and walked up stairs, to see my parents beside my sister. She had letumosis. So I did what any older sister would do: work hard enough to impress Levana so I can get the cure. So far, things have been going well. I just hoped it stayed that way. I knocked on the door and my family's eyes all went on me. I smiled at them and they smiled back. My father stood up and hugged me. "I have news." I said in a soft voice. "Alright, dear. What is it?" Mother asked. "Levana plans on giving us the cure, and made me take Sybil Mira's place." I said, looking at my sister Stella. She was nearing stage two, and it made me feel helpless. Mother walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder. "You're probably tired and hungry. Let's go downstairs and I'll get you something to eat."

Time skip to next day

I just added my hair clip and walked outside. My duty was simple: find the fugitive Linh Cinder and her accomplices and arrest them. I sighed, everyone on Luna now knows that Cinder is Selene. I had a message sent to me just now. I opened my port screen and saw the message. 'Princess Winter Hayle Blackburn has escaped. Contact a guard when needed.' I shook my head. Great, just when I thought things couldn't get any worse.

I made my way to my ship and heard someone yelling over the other voices. "WOLF!" The voice yelled. It sounded... beautiful. I turned my head and found a woman with red curls running to a... Lunar Soldier. Not just any, but that was traitor Alpha Kesley. Meaning Selene was somewhere nearby. I slowly made my way over to them. I reached the source and hid behind the corner of a house. I saw Maha Kesley let the red head inside along with Ze'ev. I thought of a plan, but someone in a gown followed the red head. The woman was none other than Winter. And Jacin. I quickly used my glamour and walked closer. I knocked on the door, as my glamour made me seem like a woman in need. Maha opened it and looked surprised. "Darling! Are you alright? Come on in." She said hurriedly. She helped me inside and let me rest on the couch, until I 'rested'. "Mother whats wrong?" Ze'ev ran downstairs and saw me. The red hair from earlier jumped from the kitchen. "Ma'am, are you alright?"  She asked. Now that I got a better look at her, she was quite beautiful. Soon enough Cinder and Kaito went downstairs. And a blonde with some blind man. The blonde shrieked. Well fuck. That blonde was Cress, a shell. A fucking shell.

I'm dead.

"She's a Lunar thaumaturge! Get her out!" Cress yelled. And everyone lunged at me but I jumped and got Maha by her neck. "I just need Linh Cinder! Turn yourself over and I'll let Maha go!" I yelled, my glamour completely off. Wolf was ready to pounce but I quickly gained control of him.

"I don't want to hurt anyone!" I yelled. "Liar!" Redhead yelled. "You're just following Levana's orders, aren't you?" She loaded her gun. Tears pricked my eyes, but I tried to blink them back. "IM DOING THIS TO SAVE SOMEBODY!" I yelled. Tears falling freely, I let Wolf's mind go. He was ready to lunge at me. The redhead stepped forward. "How? If you're gonna kill us then How?" I let Maha go, I ended up nearly breaking down. Maha hugged me. "I'm so sorry." I whispered. Wolf knew. Maha had told him. I'm sure of it. He looked at me with sympathy. I cried. My hands on my knees. I knew I had to hand Cinder over to Levana. "Selene, please! Just turn yourself in! I need Levana to give it to me!" I nearly sobbed. The redhead walked over to me, and hugged me. "Why? Give what to you?" She asked me.

"I need the cure." I sobbed. "My sister, shes dying from letumosis. She's only nine years old. I need the cure!" I cried out desperate. Selene seemed deep in thought. "Where is she? Take me to her, maybe I can help." She said.

I nodded my head and we went over to my house. We climbed upstairs and everything was gone. "Mother? Father? Stella?" I nearly cried. I began panicking, and when I reached upstairs, I saw a note. It was from Levana.

Of course you're wondering what happened to your family. They're here with me. It's some motivation for you to find Selene faster.
Oh, right, who am I kidding. You already found her. Hand her over to me, or else someone's little sister is gonna die from Letumosis.

Oh, and you might want to hurry out. I think the fire should start soon. And of course, your sister entered the third stage. Good luck, Y/n.

My eyes widened by the end of the note. I turned around and saw redhead behind me. "EVERYONE OUT NOW!!!" I yelled. I took Redhead's hand and we all ran outside, just in time as I threw her out of the house. It exploded and burned part of my uniform, including my arm and it hurt a lot. I cried out in pain. "Y/n?" I heard redhead asked. I coughed out the ashes. "Over here." I rasped. Redhead was in shock at my state. My h/l hair was a mess and my clip was somewhere in that nest. "Thank the stars, thanks Redhead." "Scarlet. Call me Scarlet." She said.

She hoisted me up and we went back to Maha's house. The letter was still in my hand. I showed it to everyone, and things got worse. Thorne, the blind dude, tried to make jokes but failed. I was stripped into my tank top since I needed bandages all over my arm. I sighed for the millionth Time today. "Are you feeling any better?" I turned around to see Scarlet at the door, slightly blushing. "Yeah, thanks." I sat down on the bed. I felt tears prick my eyes. "I'm sorry about your family." Scarlet said. I shook my head. "My sister needed that cure... she still does. She's already in the third stage. I'm scared, Scarlet. She's only nine years old." I sobbed. I felt her hug me. "It's gonna be ok, Y/n. Trust me. I'll help you. No matter what happens." She looked into my eyes. "Thanks, Scarlet." I replied. She leaned in closer, but so did I. Our lips crashed against each other. My hands immediately went to her hair and I brought myself in between her legs and brought her down on the bed.

"Hey Scarlet? Scar-?" Iko. Iko walked in on us and I freaked out. I yelped as I fell from the bed. Scarlet was blushing heavily. Iko seemed more embarrassed. "I-um- heh- I'm s-Sorry- I'll just come back later." She said quickly and left. I got up and looked at Scarlet. We started laughing. "Might be a good idea if we figure this out later. Like, when we get our own house." I winked at her. She blushed again.

Cinder knocked and came in. "Come on, I have an idea."
"This time, there's no running, we're going to start this revolution, and I'm gonna defeat Levana, and help you get your family. And cure your little sister."

"This time I'm not running." Cinder said confidently.
My and Scarlet smiled at each other.
"Count us in!" We both said.
