2nd P. O. V

"Cinder! Get back here!" You stomped your prosthetic foot on the floor. "Nope! Sorry Y/n/n, but you got to catch me!" You started chasing Cinder through the hallways, some servants laughed at you while the rest nearly scolded you both for bumping into some of them. You quickly downloaded the map of the palace, as you were still getting used to it. Yes, you were the younger not identical twin sister of Princess Selene, P/n. You were like your sister, part cyborg since you also had suffered from the fire. Tonight was the grand coronation of your sister. Cinder smiled as she continued running away, with your favourite book in hand. It was a romantic story. And it had some embarrassing moments.

You ran and tackled her into the ball room filled with decorations. You both laughed a lot. If you had tear ducts, you would've cried. You both looked at the servants that were surrounding you two, most of them laughed at your childishness. Cinder smiled and hugged you tightly. "Ugh I still can't believe I'm gonna be queen of Luna. I'm getting scared and worried." Cinder said quietly. "Don't worry, Cin, you'll do great!" You replied. "Now I'll take this!" You exclaimed and plucked the book out of her hands. Cinder raised her eyebrows. "You dare steal from the future queen?" She joked. "No, I stole it back from my sister." You replied, sticking your tongue out. Cinder laughed. "THERE YOU ARE!" You both turned your heads to see Iko running over to you. "Hurry up! You both need showers and then hair styles! And make up! Accessories! And you need to wear your dresses! We haven't got much time!" Iko said in a quick voice and grabbed you up. You, Cinder and Iko all went to the royal bedrooms. Winter stood in front of your bedroom. "There you are!" Winter said as she released a breath she didn't realise she was holding. "Cinder? Iko is going to help you, I'm going to help Y/n get ready."

Winter took your hand and brought you to the bathroom. The tub was pretty big, and filled with bubbles. "I'll turn around and you get inside the tub." Winter stated. Before you could protest, Winter quickly let your hair loose and turned around. You quickly stripped down and went in the bath. Winter turned around and started washing your hair. "Thank you, Winter. But you didn't have to." "No I do. I think it's the least I can do for you. Besides, we want you all scrubbed up for Emperor Kaito." Winter said.

Y/n P. O. V

I blushed heavily. Almost everyone knew I had a crush on Kai. Heck, even Cinder knew! And she teased me about it. But I have to be honest, it was pretty nice, knowing that there's an amazing man who's ruling Earth.

After a while Winter had scrubbed me up, dried and styled my hair, and now I was trying on my dress (picture above) and it felt right. It fell down and covered my heels.

I looked at a box that I had gotten not too long after Kai had returned to Earth, after we defeated Levana. I opened it, even though Winter was right behind me, and smiled at the sight of the pretty gloves.



(Just the gloves not the dress. Ya ain't marrying Kai YET!)

I slowly put them on, so I could hide my arms. Specifically my right hand, where my prosthetic is. My gloves fit perfectly. I walked outside as my dress slowly trailed behind me. Winter walked over to me, her blue tipped with red dress trailing after her.
She made me turn around and placed a necklace right above my collarbone. It had a moonstone in the center.

I smiled. "Thank you Winter." I walked towards the door and knocked on Cinder's door. Iko opened it and stood aside, and Cinder was wearing a big, beautiful gown. I had to hold in my laughter because I could imagine how hard it was to get her in that dress. Good thing Iko was there, otherwise Cinder wouldn't even look at it. The gown was a beautiful shade of black, blue and purple, but it had a lot of white details. She walked, no, she stumbled over to where I am. I smirked. "Boy am I glad Winter gave me flats." Cinder playfully glared at me.

Time skip

"Now I crown you Selene Blackburn, Queen of Luna."
I smiled at the sight of Selene, or Cinder as I prefer to call her, getting crowned and slowly stood up. I silently glanced over at Emperor Kai of the Commonwealth. I felt someone nudge my ribs. Scarlet was smirking at me. Wolf was smiling a little and giving me 'the look'. The ball began and I ended up staying at the juice table. "Go on! Talk to him! You know every single Lunar here might glamour him and try to dance with him!" Scarlet spoke. I shook my head. "Nah, if anything he deserves a chance with Cinder. She's prettier, lunar and cyborg wise. I'm... an embarrassment." I muttered the last part. "What are you talking about? You're both really pretty!" I turned my head and saw Thorne walking over to us, with Cress beside him. I looked at the dancers, Winter was currently dancing with Jacin. I smiled at the thought of Kai dancing with me. I looked over to him and saw Wolf talking with him. Scarlet pouted and ran over to him. She started talking with Kai as well. Until she- wait no. No no no no. She pointed at me. I met Kai's eyes and I freaked out. I nearly choked on my drink. I'll get you for this Scarlet! I thought to myself. "P/n? Are you ok?" I turned around to see Cress worried. I nodded my head and looked over to where Kai was. He was walking towards me... oh no. "Princess P/n." Kai said, slightly bowing. I tried to hide my face behind my cup, but I choked again. I was more than freaking out. "J-Just Y/n, please." I stuttered. I saw Scarlet laughing at me. I glared at her which caused her to laugh even more. Even Wolf was laughing. "Alright then, Y/n. May I have this dance?" Kai asked. I saw Cress and Iko nodding their heads. I blushed. "Uh, sure." I said, mentally slapping myself. He extended his hand and I took it as he led me to the center of the of the ballroom. Once there, he took my right hand in his left and he placed his right hand on my waist. He started and took the lead, meanwhile I was trying not blush.

As we danced, I felt like if I had the ability to blush I would be redder than his scarf. We danced happily.

"You're really beautiful tonight, P/n."

"I prefer Y/n." "Alright then." He smiled at me. I looked into his eyes. I kissed him and he happily kissed back. When we pulled away, I looked at him confused when he pulled away from our dance. He held my hands and inhaled sharply.

"I have a really important question for you, Y/n." I nodded my head for him to continue.
He got down on one knee, making me yell out in shock. "I know, it may seem like an on and off situation, but I know my feelings for you: I love you. We've always flirted, and we've had fun since I met you at you and your sister's workshop. When you kidnapped me from Levana, and I noticed how shy you'd get. I really like you, and I even asked Queen Selene to be sure. She basically said you loved me. I thought you might not say yes, but..."

I could see the sweat building up on his forehead.

"Princess P/n Levana Janali Blackburn, would you do me the favour of marrying me?"
Kai asked. "It's kind of weird knowing your middle name is Levana." He added awkwardly. Everyone stopped. Including the music. I turned around and saw my sister smiling at me. I got a comm and saw the message. It's your choice, but if you accept, you'll have my blessing. It read. My sister nodded her head a yes. I smiled at Kai. "Emperor Kaito of the Eastern Commonwealth, I accept your proposal. Or better yet I'll say it like this: yes I will marry you, you dumbass." I joked.

As he rose up, I pulled him close to me and I kissed him.
