Wolf was not alright at all. They had to go to Maha's place, but he didn't want to endanger his mother.

But when he and his friends reached his old home, he saw a small girl peek out from behind the window curtains, quickly hiding when she realised she was spotted. Wolf turned to Maha. "Mother; was that...?"

Maha turned to him confused before realization dawned on her. "That's... Y/n." She hesitantly nodded. She remembered when she told the new recruits to tell him and his brother about his new little sister.

Cinder, Thorne and Cress looked at Wolf worriedly. "Little sister?" Cress asked softly. Wolf nodded.

Cinder looked at the house and followed Maha inside. Surely enough, a small girl was hiding behind the kitchen counter. Maha called out. "Y/n? Sweetheart it's me! I brought some friends."

Y/n peeked out from behind the counter, looking at them. She ran to hug her mom before noticing Wolf.

She remembered the many pictures of her mama and two sons before her. Y/n lifted a finger at him hesitantly, with a shaking voice. "B-Brother..."

Wolf smiled a bit, crouching down to hug her. Maha slowly urged Y/n to go hug Ze'ev, and she did. Even if she was shaking because of the guards and mutants of Queen Levana.

"Why does she seem so scared?" Cinder asked. Maha sighed. "She has...traumatizing memories with the Queen's Guards. All of them... they made her learn how to do too much than a five year old should. She isn't as happy anymore."

"Then we'll teach her to be happy!" Thorne smiled, Cress nodding.

"Thank you, and Ze'ev... protect her with all your might."

Not long after had the rebellion started. Maha was dead, right in front of Y/n's eyes. Ze'ev never left her side. He made a promise to his mother that she would be safe with him.

But with Maha's death, Y/n wasn't ever smiling. Only hugging her big brother. Everytime when they would argue, Y/n would scream and hide away into the cargo hold. When they raised their hands, she shook so badly, the ship could've almost started shaking. Ze'ev was always there, and the more he was with her, the more he learned about her.

It was one time when Cinder was frustrated with Thorne again, but Thorne slipped and fell, flailing his arms as he grabbed onto Cress, who grabbed onto Scarlet, who was holding Wolf's hand, who bumped into Cinder, and they all fell in a messy pile.

At that moment, they heard someone laugh.

Beside Iko, Y/n was laughing. Tears of happiness streamed down her face. She grabbed onto her stomach as her laughing made her stomach go sore. Everyone looked at each other before laughing themselves.

He told Scarlet of his plan on the ship to try and make her smile. Scarlet nodded and told everyone else, letting Ze'ev distract the little guest.

Ze'ev stayed with Y/n for a longer time, laughing himself as the young girl couldn't stop the tears as she laughed. Ze'ev later saw Scarlet give a thumbs up and he lifted little Y/n in his arms.

Ze'ev lifted the young girl and carried her to the storage areas. There, he set her on come boxes. He sat right in front of her. "Brother!" She squealed. Ze'ev smiled. She was an adorable 5 year old.

And this five year old was his sister.

"Hey, Y/n/n, we all got a gift for you," he said softy. Y/n stared at him with wide eyes before slowly nodding. "Okay!"

Scarlet sat by the young toddler as Cress came over with a small plushy. One that she had learned to make on her own. Thorne provided the comedy, Iko made a small piece of jewellery from scraps, and Cinder gave the young girl a small robot. The young girl was very happy, especially when Scarlet, who found some spare cloth, had used it to make a red riding hood cape. Ze'ev smiled at his sister. "I want you to remember, while there is a lot of bad in this world, there's also good. Okay? We love you, Y/n."

Y/n giggled. "I love you too!" She jumped and wrapped her tiny arms around his neck. "I love you big brother!"

Ze'ev smiled as he hugged her back tightly. "I love you too, little sister. I'll keep you safe, don't worry."
