Kai's POV
CRASH!!!
There was an explosion Cinder starts to the floor but I catch her.
"ON THE FLOOR NOW! ALL VALUABLE STUFF ON THE GROUND!" A man screams at us. No one argues. I fall to my knees and take off my crown and watch. As soon as Cinder was done taking her stuff I pull her towards me. Partly for comfort and partly to warn the guards. I end my call when I see the guy heading towards us. "Ah hello highnesses," He mock bows to us. "how do you like your glimpse at real life?"
Unfortunately at that Cinder decides to be a smart a$$. "What do you mean a glimpse at real life! I didn't grow up in luxury. I was basically a servant to my step family! No actually servants actually get paid! I had to work in as a mechanic to pay for their bill none for me! The market I worked at wasn't some high end one and people would purposefully avoid me because I was a cyborg! So what the hell do you mean a glimpse at real life!"
At that I see some people in the crowd including Pearl look down in shame. The man is silent for a few seconds, then laughs. He actually laughs!
"Sorry princess. I forgot you're not some stuck up noble but that isn't going to save you from being robbed."
BAM!
"S41+" I hear him mutter. There is another loud crash and the guards come rushing into the room. Four of them grab the man. A few rush over to help Cinder and me up and protect us.
"This is going to be a long week." Cinder whispers to me.

A/N
Sorry guys I know this is late and you have been waiting a while for this chapter. I had been in a rut. And is it weird to say that I got the idea for this chapter when a guy was shot. Because that is exactly how it happened. So apparently the janitor at my school shot a guy in the middle of the street this morning. *sarcasm incoming* Which made me feel safe. The janitor wasn't nice anyway and I didn't like him so...yeah.
