Long ago there was a city called Vallaya. One of the most popular pastimes of the Vallaiyans was cockfighting.

There was a young boy called Lilo (this is presumed not to be his real name, but a nickname, it means Small) who was weaker than the others. Living as an outcast among the other Vallaiyans he turned to the animals for companionship. When he became of age he helped raise roosters for the fights.

One of the chicks was weak. Fearing punishment Ri did everything in his power to make it strong. The chick lived and Lilo named him Arie (meaning Strength/Strong).

Then came the fateful day when Arie was taken away to fight, he was critically injured and his owner left him to die. After the crowd cleared Lilo came for Arie.

Unsure how to heal him he ran to Athenya and asked for help, they refused, saying that livestock should just be put down. Then Lilo fled to Linnuya, but their alléyrs did not know how to heal land animals. So Lilo fled to Omneya (which was on the ground at this time) for help, the Omneiyans alléyr healed Arie and sent him home.

As thanks for saving his life Arie gave Lilo the gift of strength. Using this power Lilo (who had now renamed himself Dono) took over half of Vallaya and renamed it to Arieya. What remained of the Vallaiyans fled, never to be seen again.

Before his death Arie blessed the rest of Arieya with strength. Dono passed soon after.
