When You Come

If suddenly you come for me,
Across the stormy seas.
Arms outreached and ready to steal,
My very own soul from me.

If suddenly you decide,
My life needs no more pride.
Them God forbid,
That I still live,
In this place where I survive.

If suddenly you tell me,
You are here to free,
My very own soul,
From this prison that has grown so bleak.

If suddenly I am visited,
By Death himself at my door.
Then I will let him in,
And let him make my life no more.
