This is for Der_Eisen_Madchen of Lullaby book club! This is my entry for the Lullaby Lessons :)

looked down at her body, blood was still gushing out here and there.

I checked her pulse on her wrist, I could still feel it. I saw her chest expanding and contracting slowly, her breathing was ragged but at least she was breathing.

I looked around, wondering what on earth do I do now. There was no point for trying to call somebody, it was obvious that there was no reception in the middle of the jungle.

I could her the twigs cracking when I stepped on them and I heard the noisy chirping of birds on the trees nearby. The sky above was turning dark slowly and the rays of the sun were no longer lighting up the world.

The night is still young, there is still hope for me, for Lana.

I stared at Lana again, lying stiff on the floor. No movements could be seen from her and once again, there was nothing I could do to stop the blood from flowing.

"Lana! You can't just leave me here, you can't leave me here on my own! I need you! And you need me!"

I wrapped my arms around her waist and pressed my body against hers despite all the blood stains oh her clothes.

I didn't care.

All I ever wanted, was to live with her peacefully, with no disturbance, no hate, no fear and no restrictions.

No, I can't give up. There's definitely something I can do.

I picked up my bag and checked it's contents. It still has two cans of coke, and a half eaten sandwich.

If that was what was left for us to survive on, then so be it.

With all my might, I carried Lana with my arms bridal style and decided to carry on our journey.

Our journey, to find freedom and peace.

Our journey to find respect and human rights.

A journey where justice is concerned and sides were not taken.

A journey where humanity would rise before cruelty.

I would never spare them, for what they did to Lana, I would never let them go.

I will show them what people like them deserved!

I will show them that they only deserved to rot in hell!

I will show them, that dehumanising others, just makes them inhuman, not us.

I will do it for Lana, for her life, her justice and her rights.

I will avenge for what they did to her, how every single one of them scolded, hit and threaten her day and night!

No woman deserves such pain and misery.

No woman.

Haha so urm yeah this is my story and im not sure if I did more of telling or showing, but I really tried my best this time.

I hope this 450-words short story was actually worth it. 😘😉
